Overall cleanliness not the best, mould in the shower which is a very easy fix. Kitchen sink needed a serious clean, again an easy fix. Spider webs in every corner, obviously it’s an old property. Dust. Window sill when opening lots of small wildlife. Just needed a good spring clean.

Enjoyed our stay, very nice well equipped cottage.
Such a lovely cottage, will definitely go back, shame about the work going on, but owners were very apologetic. Hopefully it has now been completed. Such a lovely setting and so peaceful. Berty the bull terrier loved his holiday as much as we did.
Everything you need under one roof ! Beautiful scenery so close to lovely places to visit . Village has everything. A special mention of the Castle Inn . Great food and service
Lovely peaceful place very clean, just a bit too far up the hill from town for us to walk
Y Sied is a lovely cottage, very cozy and well equipped. It is situated on a very quiet road which to be honest, the noise wasn't an issue at all. It is located about 3/4 mile out of Newport, but on a very steep hill, which was fine walking downhill into Newport, but walking back could be described as very challenging, especially after visiting the Golden Lion. All in all, we had a lovely holiday in a wonderful part of Wales.
Location is brilliant with super walks literally on the doorstep, the beach within minutes in the car (Or you can walk), lots of wildlife and a comfortable, well equipped and organised cottage for two.
