A very dissapointing experience

A very dissapointing experience. I cant recommend this company at all and wasted a lot of time with them.

Firstly we are extremely disappointed in receiving this review from Mr Young, given the circumstances surrounding this cancelled contract; which is always subject to our technical survey findings.

The house is situated on a seafront esplanade and is in a bad state of repair; the existing structure being unsafe with rotten wooden supports; some which the surveyor felt were hidden from view and could create more difficulties when replacing windows and doors.
Therefore he deemed this to be more of a building renovation than just replacement of windows and doors to the existing structure.

When our sales consultant arrived at the appointment, he made it clear from the start that the contract was subject to our technical survey findings and Mr Young acknowledged this. We have not charged Mr Young for the survey and we are returning his deposit refund in full

We are a company who prides itself on our customer care, delivering the highest quality of workmanship to the consumer. Unfortunately with some requested installations we are unable to offer our services and this is to protect both parties concerned.

We are sorry Mr Young felt we wasted his time; but the safety aspect of our installations is one of our highest priorities.

Wonderful

Wonderful, friendly service! I called Coastline out because I had a major leak in my conservatory that was causing me a lot of stress. Coastline responded promptly to my SOS, reassuring me that they'd definitely be able to fix my problem. The tradesmen came within the hour, they observed all the social-distancing rules, were polite and respectful of my home, and they fixed my leaky conservatory with skill and efficiency. Friendly staff, fantastic price - I simply cannot recommend them enough!

A rip off company

A rip off company , preys on the elderly and rips anyone off that they can get away with,,,,They ripped my 85 year old mother off and the manager is a shark too,,,,,,can't even reply or explain his company ripping people off !!!

Quality service products and aftercare exemplary

We had 7 promise to quote us here in Ryde Iow only 3 turned 2 turned up late or rescheduled us..!
Coastline turned up on time were
1.v v honest salesperson ... no pressure v prepared
2. No bull s..t pretend discounts
3.Knew their products
4. Accurate in their timelines
5. Surveyor turned up on time measured accurately was v pleasant
6. Work men were very skilful friendly
7.respectful if environment / house / neighbours
8. Really put the hours in
9. My wife felt ‘safe’
10. The adterservice incredible a few settling adjustments

The company were not the cheapest however the quality of their products far exceeded those of competitors

This company really care about what…

This company really care about what they do and the team work well together.
We are so pleased with the results and quality of the windows and trifold doors that they fitted.
They’re were back days after a couple of niggles came to light.
They’d were also no hard sell on their approach
I trust these people

NO LONG TERM SUPPORT

We have spent a great deal of money with Coastline Windows of Newport Isle of Wight and were initially delighted with the work. Now, the guarantees having expired a few years ago, I phoned the Company to ask them to replace 3 panes in one sash window which are showing severe internal condensation. I had previously tried to get replacement brass handles for the windows as two window handles are showing severe rust, but was turned away by a very off hand receptionist. I expected my latest call to be received with more interest, but to my shock, I was advised that the Company no longer provides out of guarantee remedial work. So, despite the thousands of pounds spent and the many recommendations to friends, Coastline have zero interest in supporting their customers.
My advice to those seeking new double glazing is do not bother with Coastline as they have no interest in you except to take your cash. Find another Company that will provide long term support, even after the guarantee has expired, so that you only need to keep one telephone number, confident that workman will attend with background knowledge of your property and professional interest in you, the customer.

We take pride in the support that we offer our customers during their 10 year guarantee period and do whatever we can to provide advice and help after this time.
Whilst it is unfortunate that we were unable to provide the service you required, we always strive to help any customer that walks through our door regardless of whether they have had work done by us or not. We have a small and select group of professionals that we would recommend to assist with your needs.
