Ordered a wheelie duffle bag and when the bag was due to be delivered got told it was out of stick thankfully got my money back
2 top range bats; both hugely disappointing.
I first bought a top grade shirt handle Cobra bat in 2020. Despite being top of the range willow, it lacked any ping and felt dead all over. The middle was ok but compared poorly to other bats. After 2 months, the handle broke and it was replaced. The customer service was good. When it returned, it lasted a few weeks before breaking again and money was refunded- good service again.
In 2024, I returned to Cobra believing I was unfortunate the first time and confident in the 12 month warranty should the bat not be up to standard. Another top spec willow bat was ordered and delivered. Whilst the grains again looked good, it once again compared poorly to my teammates’ bats which was commented on by many others. Straight away, I shared concerns around its quality with Johnathon but continued to use it. Before the end of its warranty, the handle gave way as it did with my previous one.
Johnathon eventually agreed to fix it but has since ignored my concerns that the bat has not lived up to expectations and costs.
If you’re wanting high quality cricket bats which perform as well as you’d hope given the cost and specification, then go elsewhere, pay slightly more and don’t be disappointed.
I purchased a pair of cricket shoes online with £7.99 express 48-hour shipping. After 48 hours, I was made aware that these were not available. I received a refund 5 days later; however, these shoes (same size) are still for sale online today, well over a week later. Cobra needs to understand what stock they have available. When I purchased these and paid extra for express delivery, I could have used the shoes for league cricket on the weekend. However, I had to use tennis shoes.
The bat took 2 months to arrive.
For £250 the ping on the bat is not worth it compared to other companies I’ve purchased from.
Avoid this brand.
Very disappointed and unsatisfactory for the price I paid. Would get better bats with much better ping from alternatives for lesser price as well. Even the order takes longer than expected to reach. Wouldn’t suggest to purchase bats based on my experience.
