Little slow but exceptional service!
Ashley the company owner genuinely wants to be helpful to his customer and although response time can be little slow, probably due to sheer number of enquiries and nature of small business, I always received response that is helpful and resolved my issue. Ashley also offered to provide spare parts free of charge and personally sent them to me in Australia.
Coffeejack is a great product, a little delicate to use but very compact and produce amazing coffee if you get the hang of it.

Likely because of my region’s covid lockdown in 2020 I saw CoffeeJack’s Kickstarter campaign. Seeing this seemingly impossible endeavor they said they were creating, I invested.
I'm so happy that I did as it has created the best at home latte as I now have an espresso with my steamed milk! In the past 25 years I went from only buying at a café to Italian stovetop espresso (Bialetti Moka), to aeropress and now CoffeeJack! It really tastes like espresso! I have given tastes tests to many coffee lover friends and they always choose CoffeeJack as the best by far!
So people are saying so much in these reviews about the time to finish this project, and yes it did take a lot of patience on my part. Yet, have any of us tried to produce a brand new invention? They communicated all through these four years about this process, so much I had to direct their emails to a separate inbox of which I would lose track of where they were at but I kept faith. It was evident that it took a hella lot of time, effort and money, that we helped provide via their kickstarter campaign to accomplish it. Without our money there would be no CoffeeJack.
So after waiting, sometimes questioningly, for 4 years I have finally received this awesome product!
I am thankful to have seen their website’s page in an email explaining how to properly use this espresso maker. And I'm also glad that I invested more in their upgraded damper. I had both of them but I see the newer one evenly presses down the coffee. I think it is done to press the coffee down to the correct depth that I guess prevents this breakage that some people have experienced. So I after a few months of my and my partner both making espresso every day, have not had our machine broken.
So yes it took 4 years yet two guys managed accomplish this feat and provide to people around the world product that they had to handle the logistics of the produc from China. And then having to coordinate deliveries t
of thir product to locations around the world. I recognize so many levels to what they had to achieve, and I remember again it was just two guys! I wish I could meet them someday to congratulate them in person!
As a former barista and coffee shop owner I can't imagine having to accomplish such a feat. I too had a change of address that was sending my product to it even though clearly they had to coordinate the correction of this system in Chin etc. Yet it's understandable that it's a brand new system that had to be created, and again I say by two people not a big corporation!
It's amazing I think from my perspective what they accomplished. It was not a scam, I have the product and I will continue to buy more for my friends. I hope you give it a try. Please handle the product carefully don't drop it etc. and enjoy a great espresso!

I travel a lot and also live in a camper van and Coffeejack is my coffee maker of choice! I'm very particular and had been an Aeropress groupie, but CJ is clearly better. And I'm happy to say that any issues I've had have been personally addressed. I appreciate their dedication and commitment to the product which is a winner.
They live up to their promise
OK - so there were shipping challenges, coupled with a global pandemic, manufacturing challenges, and technical issues merging multiple source databases and different email addresses. Who wouldn't want to cash it all in and call it quits? Ashley, that's who!
Despite challenges that others would have found insurmountable, he never gave up on his original promise to provide a quality product and to deliver everything that was ordered. I think I may have been one of the last (for them I hope so!) to get everything straightened out, but it did get sorted, by Ashley himself, and I received everything I ordered. Sure, with everything, it took time. But my patience was rewarded with generosity and a fantastic product.

I was a backer on their kickstarter campaign from the get go . They launched their product during one of the most challenging times in recent history (Covid pandemic) 2020
It took some time for them to be able to fulfill their orders due to circumstances well beyond their control but they did !
As an entrepreneur myself I can see their hard work and dedication to making this project succeed. Excellent customer service they have really be so transparent and made every effort to make sure that all comments or questions have been answered and concerns resolved. A rare quality these days of big business.
I have recently purchased a second coffeejack as a gift. My original has become my go to espresso maker. The quality of the espresso from my coffeejack is top notch . It’s so much my preferred way that
my counter top espresso machine sits waiting to be used .

The CoffeeJack is beautifully…
The CoffeeJack is beautifully engineered, and deserves to be treated with respect! Provided the instructions are carefully followed it makes a great cup of espresso, but it IS sensitive to mishandling, and as is evident from some of the Reviews it can break as a result of OPERATOR ERROR. I was guilty of overenthusiastic pumping and broke it … entirely my own fault. The beauty of the design is that everything is replaceable, and full marks to Ashley for sending me the replacement seal I needed that wasn’t included in the normal package. It is a small team so be patient and understanding with them … well worth the wait.
Coffee Jack long term review
I've been using my Coffee Jack for over a year now and it's my go to coffee maker. It's straightforward to use, reliable and makes a great cup of coffee. My experience of the company's customer service responsiveness has also been very positive.

After a long journey from start to finish Coffeejack fulfilled their end of their promise. I'm happy for them to push past the logistical problems and to bring their product to finality (with even major upgrades of there product) in the midst of a world-wide pandemic. I'm happy to have purchased a second Coffeejack to gift to a couple who are going out on missions to preach and teach the Jesus is Lord. It's a great product to provide much needed coffee to these Missionary friends. Help get the word out for this fantastic Coffee machine.

I am glad that the delivery issues had been resolved and I received the two units delivered to my home.
Goof stuff overall
It wasn't perfect regarding the delivery (some items arrived broken - I was a Kickstarter backer) but in the end it was resolved and I got brand new replacements.
As per the machine operation I think it delivers what's promised. Great thing about the portability too. Overall I can recommend.
Took a while, but makes good coffee
Updated: The unit hadn't arrived but they helped figure it out and eventually I received a unit. It works well so far and the instructions are clear. Most importantly the coffee is good.
Never received my packages after 3…
Never received my packages after 5 years. I even did an extra order plus extra fee to get an express shipment that was supposed to happen 2 years ago. And getting in touch with anyone there is quite difficult. Because of them, I stopped trusting Kickstarter.
Almost £200 into a black hole
I spent £189 with this company for the deluxe kit 3 almost weeks ago. I have emailed and messaged them numerous times to ask about the order status and have heard nothing. I don’t even know if they will send it. Their customer service is diabolical. Even if the item arrives, I would t do business with them again. Just basic customer service is all I expect.

I participated in the kickstarter campaign of this product, which I have not yet received.
Despite making full payment and receiving order confirmation, the product has not arrived. I wrote several times and have not received any response to my messages after May 15th, 2024.
I have run out of patience and believing on their good faith.
Backer Number: 85**, Purchase Date: mid 2021.
This delay has caused significant inconvenience and is likely to cost significantly more to me due to an increase in taxes for this late delivery.
The produce is not available, and they did not provide me the option of a full refund.
I trusted in the past that they value customers but it seems they do not.

I reviewed this company recently, and it said they stole my money because I had yet to receive my product. I have now received it, but it took so long to come. I emailed them several times while I was waiting to recieve it, and I was waiting for a response. I cannot comment on the product because I have just received it, but their customer support is terrible. They don't communicate with their customers, and there appears to be no contact number. I wanted to edit the original review, but I was unable to, so I have had to write a new new one. The product looks really good. But only gave 2 stars due to their customer service which is awful. Please ignore my original review.

I made an online purchase on 4/05/24 and am still waiting to receive my purchase. I have emailed three times and have yet to make any effort to reply. They have stolen my money and not provided a service. This company is a joke. Also, since paying what they initially called a special price, it's been reduced again on their website. Do not trust this company.
I have tried twice over the past year…
I have tried twice over the past year to get some help from CoffeeJack, as both units I bought through their original crowdfunding program broke in the same manner. Their after sales customer service is rubbish.
I took a chance with they delivered !
I took a chance with these guys on Kickstarter and then COVID happened, I really commend them for sticking through the entire process and I got my product and was super pleased! Even though delays happened, as with the everything else in the world at the time, they communicated through the entire process and delivered. My particular order has complications due to the USPS, and they sorted it out.
They can’t manage the number of customers so please help by not contacting them
Have been waiting for delivery for FIVE YEARS since they launched in kickstarter. All the updates received were they messed up the customer records and unable to make things right. Their approach to resolve is to treat customers like id0its and according to their updates, any customer trying to contact them by emails or enquiries they will be put at the last of the queue again to make customers from asking where the orders were. So give them a hand by reducing the number of customers to the level that Ashley and the team can handle.
