I ordered a blouse on September 8. It is November 13th and I have not received it. I called and was told it would now arrive by November 18th. I asked for shipping to be expedited in light of the delay. They refused. Buyer beware.

If there could be negative numbers, this would be in the negatives. I usually never write reviews, but I want to foreworn people.This is a fraudulent company. Their orders are available months out, and then they have a complicated billing process of pre authorizing your card of the charges before they actually ship out. Do not buy from this company.

I will never buy from Coldwater Creek again. I paid $124.95 for a Christmas cardigan. I decided to return it because it was too big. CC deducted $9.95 for a returns processing fee (no problem) and $18.99 for "taxes and adjustments." I've never had an online vendor deduct taxes from the refund and have no idea what adjustments are. My refund amount is $96.01. This is indeed a SCAM.

First they offered free shipping and I ordered two items in early September. Then it turned out they signed me up for a "club" and expected me to pay $16 a month to get free shipping. I wrote to them and cancelled that. The first item arrived in early October, and the second item just arrived, at the end of October. I want to return the 2nd item, and they will delete $9.95 plus the sales tax I paid from my refund. I will never do business with them again.

My order took over a month to be delivered. The delivery process was a disaster. There was no active tracking and it looked like the package was lost. After a month, they finally said they would refund my money because the package was lost in transit. However, they never refunded it and it appeared a week later. They do not know what they are doing and seem likely to go out of business. Do not order from them.

On 9/30, I ordered a pair of boots. The site did not show that the item was back ordered. When it did not ship, I contacted customer care and was then told that the item was on back order and would ship 10/24. No apology and no attempt at restitution. On 10/25, I checked status which still said waiting fulfillment so I again contacted customer care. I was now told that the item was back ordered and would ship 11/7! I canceled the order and want to warn others about the complete lack of customer service,

I would give them zero stars if I could. To start, their prices are high. If you get a discount, they will not offer free shipping because that's considered an additional discount and they won't combine. So shipping for 2 items was going to be $18. ridiculous.

The bigger issue is that I could not complete the purchase. I tried multiple credit cards. I called customer service and had them try to do the purchase by phone. All tries resulted in the transaction not finishing. They kept telling me to call my credit card companies. But the cards were fine - the problem is with their system. And then they told me to wait 48 hours and try again, because maybe I had made too many attempts and froze the process. I did that - 48 hours made no difference. It's like it had identified me and it wouldn't complete the purchase with me (really, I'm not paranoid!)

In the end, I gave up. Clearly, I was not meant to purchase from them.

I sent an email on 22 September about how I was planning on spinning over $500 and I still would have to pay for shipping which I think is ridiculous. I never thought cold water Creek would turn into a clothing company that didn’t take care of his people first it’s all about the bottom line dollar so sad and disappointed because my girlfriend loves the store

Nice pictures in the catalogue. They do not have the products....backorder dates are pushed further and further away. I cancelled my order and asked to be taken off the mailing list. There are plenty of other places to shop online.

I would give less if I could. Same as everyone. Bad quality. Took 3 1/2 months to get item. No contact. They charged my card at the time of order. Returned an order with UPS receipt. They said they never got it. Just the worst

They charged 16 dollars fee on my card without my permission. Delivery was later than promised .

Zero stars. Coldwater Creek does not return tax on orders returned to them! No other store does this. They keep the tax money and get the items back. When emailing to them about it, their clueless customer service reps told me “… taxes are the amount of discount applied when you place an order.” If you’re confused by that it’s because it’s nonsense. I ordered from them after many years forgetting about them. I didn’t realize they were sold to a company known to scam customers. Stay away!

That customer service is horrendous. I order a vest and after 6 weeks they finally replied the vest was backordered until March 2026. No refund was available. So I guess I'm out the cost of that item.

Bad Customer service never received the item. After charging my gift card with a hold on 8/26, I never received my $95.34 jacket. I cancelled the order on 9/18/2025 because it shouldn't take a month to ship a jacket. I called to ask the credit card company why my credit was not processed because CWC said they credited my account. NOPE they didn't. They wanted proof that the credit didn't happen. My transaction statement was not enough. This company is not customer focused and they basically stole my money. Do NOT order from them.

I have placed 4 different orders with this Company.
Each time items were back ordered for months, and then I was told not available. Why advertise a product that is unavailable? I’m done.

I ordered 3 items on August 27th. They have slowly trickled in to my post box over 40 DAYS. The first item arrived Sept 8th. Slow but not a deal breaker. I received no communication on the status of the other two pieces…I.e not indication of back order or out of stock, etc. The second item arrived Sept 20th- 12 days after the first shipment and too late for the event for which I’d ordered it 24 days before. Still no comment on the status of the outstanding item. I wrote an inquiry via email. I got acknowledgment of receipt of my email, but no follow up regarding the status of my order. 3 days later I called Customer Service. I was told my final item was “in the mail”. I checked daily and it was actually never shipped until two weeks later. I finally got it October 7th.
I have been a Coldwater patron for 25 years. I like the style and quality of the clothes. But 40 DAYS between order and receipt is ridiculous. I may shop in person if I ever see a storefront somewhere but I won’t place another online order. It’s a shame their order fulfillment process is so SLOWWW. They are killing the brand.

On 10/1/25, ordered a dress for a 10/24 wedding. Called customer care today and learned it won’t ship until 10/24 at earliest and will then take 4-8 days to receive. Won’t make it in time for wedding.

Charged me 15% for the return plus a processing fee of $9.95. Additionally, the amount they said they were going to refund was not the amount that was credited to my account. I will NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY IN THE FUTURE.

Yes, I was concerned about how long it took for my items to be delivered.
Yes, I was concerned about the negative reviews.
But,
these are the best fitting clothes I have ever purchased.
It’s like they were tailored for me.
After years of getting my size from other retailers that ended up being too big , long, or too small, finally I have really cute clothes that fit me perfectly.
That said, if you are willing to wait and be patient with their shipping process it is well worth the wait.

Warning on Return Policy
I have been a long-time customer and have loved Coldwater Creeks clothing. Recently I purchased 2 jackets. 129.95 each plus s/h and tax. Sadly, the first one I did not like the color. Need to return - No problem. The other one was too small and I wanted to exchange it. When I called to discuss I was told that I would have to Return both and could then Purchase the correct size of the one I liked, but that the price had gone up, so I would have to pay the new price of 144.95 plus s/h tax. Mind you that I had purchased the items on 9/19/25 - receive them on 9/25/25 and on 9/30/25 was when I had contacted customer service. I have decided to not purchase anything from Coldwater Creek again. There are too many other Company's out there that have better customer service and return policies.
