Lately I've ordered few cables and SFPs from them, the order was forgotten for few weeks when eventually I contacted for an update and they said they will get back later in the day. As no call was received the day after I phoned them again, after put on hold I was told the items were back-ordered and they will let me know when dispatched. After few hours the order was notified as completed which was surprising because I was just told the items are awaiting the fulfilment. After reception we noticed the SFPs were missing. Asked Comms Express an investigation, after couple of weeks they confirmed both the order and the cameras shown the items being placed on the package. Lies!
The sealed envelope was not tampered when received and nobody would anyway steal 2x SFPs.
Horrible unreliable company and customer service experience.

I have used Comms Express for a number of years and they used to be very good, but now I have mixed feelings, sometimes very good. Alas the next working day delivery is a joke, so bear that in mind when ordering.
They have a good selection of items at decent prices.
The sales support are also slow to respond.

If we've needed to contact customer service, they go out of their way to resolve the issue on the first call.

ordered and paid for a computer rucksack only to receive email saying item currently not in stock,but when I check the website it says available for next day delivery but at a higher price! after several emails to sales that receive no reply I'm now having to try and reclaim my money through my credit card company

I placed the order on Saturday and received a despatch confirmation on Monday, but no tracking number, and the invoice shows very little detail.
The shipping method simply says “Post,” which doesn’t tell me much — I expected it to be next-day delivery, given the £7.50 charge.
Normally, Royal Mail Next Day Delivery means the postman knocks the next morning, but he didn’t bring anything except letters on Tuesday.
It’s now Wednesday afternoon, the postman’s already been, and the order still hasn’t arrived.

Normally Comms-express are pretty good. Not sure what's gone wrong but this time they were pants. Ordered a UPS (in stock) on a friday - heard nothing on monday about delivery - sent a support message on the tuesday for an update. Wednesday still no reply so gave them a call 12 ish, said they would get back to me. 15:30 still nothing heard so called again and cancelled the order

I returned an item to Comms Express on 1 September 2025 exactly as instructed. They confirmed a refund would be issued once it was received. A month later, I’m STILL chasing my money.
Every reply has been a useless excuse about “warehouse delays.” Now they’ve gone one better — claiming they “can’t locate” my return and asking ME for tracking, as if it’s my job to run their warehouse. For the record, I do have tracking and it shows the parcel was delivered.
This is beyond incompetent. I’ve now had to escalate to PayPal just to get back the money that should have been refunded weeks ago.
Comms Express have wasted my time, ignored their own terms, and treated me with complete disregard. If this is how they handle customers, avoid them at all costs. I will never use them again.
