Impressed with service, quality and value for money

Impressed with service, quality of the HP laptop and the price. Will definitely use again. We had also ordered a pen for use with the laptop and got a call from the company to ask if we wished to receive one the same colour as the laptop (we had inadvertently ordered a different colour). We also had to change the delivery address and received a quick response advising how to do this.

Very happy!

Laptop delivered smashed but replacement/refund refused

I purchased a laptop from CompAdvance in April 2017, via debit card, which had been severely damaged in delivery. I emailed them as soon as I realised but was told that because it was longer than 2 days of delivery being accepted there was nothing they could do. I researched the consumer right act and contacted consumer protection agency who advised me that CompAdvance were responsible and what steps to take next. After numerous emails from Kyle (customer support) and Emil (Director) it was clear that they were not going to adhere to the consumer rights act, they even acccused me of damaging the laptop. Consumer Protection Agency suggested I contact my bank and enquire about making a Chargeback claim. My bank processed the claim and refunded me my money, CompAdvance did not contest the refund so I eventually got my money back after 7 months of unnecessary stress. If something goes wrong this company will not help you. They just want your money and won’t take responsibility for any issues. Do not let them try and fob you off to the manufacturer, your contract is with them and they are responsibile for providing you with a working product. Keep fighting.

Laptop was purchased in April , but customer contacted us reporting physical damages 40 days later !! We can not be held responsible for the goods while in buyers possession I'm afraid. Due to the time passed there was no even chance to make a claim with shipping company so unfortunately we had no other option but to refuse. All our customers , on top of manufacturer warranty, are given 30 days peace of mind return policy , all we asking for is to check the goods . I am sorry I couldn't help in this particular case , I really am.

Beware you are not charged twice with unauthorised credit card claims.…

Bought a HP all in one renew by HP costing £1200 in mid October 2017, had problems on day one, contacted Kyle at Compadvance gave me some advice on carrying out updates, I tried this without sucess, he then arranged via HP for a dongle to reset to factory settings, this arrived ten days later, I'm not computer literate so got an IT Engineer to set this up, worked for a couple of days then repeatly froze and or crashed, then early November 2017 discovered that he had charged me another £1200 for the same item, managed via credit card company for repayment, then engaged second engineer to fix any software issues which they were unable to do, I then offered to purchase with full payment another computer, and have him credit me on return of the faulty unit, this he declined, telling me my only option was to return the PC to HP, where this time I would be without the computer for two weeks. He has refused to return mails and phone calls with lame excuses, now taking legal action to get a refund.

Dear Mr Pickard, we had 2 payment authorizations within 2 minutes for the same shopping basket from you indeed, Only one of them was imported into our system and has been captured the next day . We were completely unaware of the 2nd payment until one was reported to us by Barclaycard as not yet captured at the beginning of this month , I have checked this one by myself and captured it assuming that there was a system error and this is original payment for your order. Duplicated transaction has been fully refunded immediately, once we discovered it .

Stay away.

I bought an All-in-One PC which arrived damaged, possibly due to the poor packaging, I contacted them immediately and left several messages and after a few calls I managed to speak to someone who every time we spoke suggested his colleague was dealing with it only to follow with days of no communication, eventually had to try to recover my money through Paypal and they blamed this for the lack of communication? I had to arrange and pay for the return and after a week with my computer and money but no response to emails or messages, I managed to recover my money through Paypal. I would not buy from them EVER.

Unfortunately , I have not enough details to find out what happen in this case. Any goods if faulty / damaged during the transport and reported to us would be replaced or refunded. Please feel free and Google us , we are using other review companies to collect feedbacks , in average above 99% happy customers , we are really care , just give us a chance to sort things out

First time buyer, never even heard of the company but deals persuaded me to try and i am throughly impressed with service, price and overall execution - VERY TRUSTWORTHY and will be recommending to friends as so forth - good job!

Top service......Good price.

I did a thorough search on CompAdvance Ltd before I purchased from them.
All seemed OK.
I was very pleased with the swift and efficient handling of my order but was most impressed by the "above and beyond" level of customer service.
Kyle got in touch to inform me if I was planning to use the monitor and pc together I would need an additional lead which they hadn't got in stock.I ordered one which arrived on the same day as my order.
So no delay in the use of my new gear.
Helpful,knowledgeable staff are an important asset.I hope they are appreciated.Well done CompAdvance Ltd.

HP all in one touch screen PC

Really pleased with my purchase and saved over £150 compared to Currys.
the service i received was excellent and i will recommend them to anyone wanting a good computer at a reasonable price. 5 stars from me

Everything was as it should be, simlpe

Bought a mouse described as "new - damaged packaging". Mouse was in perfect condition and was delivered very quickly. Informed at every stage via email too.
I didn't have cause to call Compadvance so I can't comment in that respect but overall I was very happy.

Great laptop, good as new

The laptop looks as good as new. It was delivered very fast. The laptop works perfectly and is as fast as you would expect from the specs. Battery life is excellent, something like 5 to 6 hours on a full charge. The build in camera is not of the best quality. Very pleasantly pleased it really is as good as a new laptop.

Bought two laptops in last two weeks; very happy with both.

I was slightly wary of buying from a re-seller but I actually checked on this site and was reassured by reviews. I have to say I am now very glad I did; both PC's were exactly as described. The second had a very minor scratch on lid; not only was this mentioned on description but a photo was provided. The delivery process was excellent and I both are now working perfectly well. I would not hesitate to use Compadvance in the future.

Excellent company and customer support

I recently purchased a HP all in one desktop from this company at an excellent price. The computer was delivered within 2 days! and was in perfect condition. As I couldn't find the Bluetooth receiver for the wireless mouse and keyboard I contacted their customer support who were extremely helpful and I located the receiver. Overall my experience of this company is excellent with fantastic customer support.

return for refund initially has been refused and warranty repair offered as a standard procedure as customer contacted us re issue after cooling off period ,
nonetheless to keep customers happy we changed rules and extended cooling off period from 2 weeks to 1 month, we have also authorized this one to be returned and refunded as a good will gesture,
I am sorry for the inconvenience caused .
