Pity about their clients
Site would be ok if the people they deal with responded. 4 businesses phoned me and I requested that they send the information via email so I could spend time looking over each one, only one did this the others I haven't heard back from.

They don't respect your marketing requests
My existing Card Payment contract was due for renewal and I saw an ad for Companeo on Facebook offering quotes from 3 suppliers. I filled in the details, received a courtesy call from Companeo and was duly contacted by 3 suppliers with regard to their service offering.
During the registration processes I was careful not to opt in to the marketing options but I received a number of marketing emails from Companeo without unsubscribe options. I emailed the sender but to no avail. After a few emails one had an unsubscribe option and I have had none since. I won't use them again as a result of this.

All of our emails have an unsubscribe link at the bottom. If you couldn't find it in some emails, it may have been due to a technical error. However, I am glad that you did find a link eventually.
I have now raised the issue with our IT department at our Head Office in France.

Very helpful.
Instead of trawling through a load of websites, I was contacted by three suppliers. Two were from Streamline with the Streamline offshoot coming out as better value. Companeo made it easy to get the card machine sorted out.

Compneo taking instructions
I contacted Compneo for two purposes. One is that my company needs a credit card transaction machine and the other is to see if my business can get a cheaper electricity. They called me on Saturday and I informed them that when they call other companies about us, make sure you tell them that we are not available till Wednesday at the earliest. Despite our instructions, vendors started calling us from Monday morning. Some repeatedly! Very annoying.

Good service and good communication from everyone involved.
From the moment I started the ball rolling I had good service from all involved. Communication was great both via email and telephone. I was looking for a card payment system and I had had 3 communications and quotes from various vendors within minutes. I did eventually take up an offer by one of the companies introduced to me by Companeo.
I would recommend this service to any one.

1 day after submitting the request to Companeo I had 3 calls from companies and arranged 2 meetings within 3 days. Two very close quotes ruled out the 3rd and I will be progressing once a few points have been clarified. A fast and efficient service.

Too many calls, not enough information
I was looking for details of the cost of a facility for accepting card payments. Certainly lots of people called but they were all trying to sell me something without giving the information I wanted, which was the cost. One even wanted to arrange a meeting in person but still wouldn't give the information. Only one was willing to send details by email as I requested. All in all an experience I'd rather forget and I wouldn't use the facility again. A representative from Companeo did call to check whether anyone had followed up though, so I give a star for that.

Bad in every way possible
All I wanted was 3 quotes.I received 2 and the other company insisted on a meeting.
The worst part of the service is the spam email and phonecalls from other companies and from Companeo itself.Nowhere did I see that my company data was going to be shared so I will definitely not use this service again.
Truly terrible and annoying when I do not want to be pestered at work by unwanted phonecalls.

Our role at Companeo is to put you in touch with competitive suppliers for your quote request. Therefore, we cannot comment on their internal policies. If a supplier did insist on a meeting, then it would be a part of their vetting process.
I must strongly stress that we do not share or sell our service users’ data with any other 3rd parties. If you were called by a company that we didn't recommend, then I can assure you that we did not pass on your details to them.
We do have an opt-in newsletter service, which you can unsubscribe from, by clicking on the link in the email.
