Excellent - My experience with the Complete Care…

My experience with the Complete Care Shop in terms of product availability, suitability of products for my husbands specific needs, ease of use of finding and comparing the range of products on the website and the ordering process - Excellent.

Unfortunately, on this occasion, the delivery service was a complete let down.

I placed the order and paid for Next Day Delivery (NDD).
I received an email confirming the delivery and ETA from DPD and waited...It wasn't delivered that day, due to not being able to find the address.
DPD said it would be delivered again the next day so again we waited...The new ETA came and went and by 12pm, wasn't delivered. Apparently, no one was at home. Me and my husband were in; we were waiting for the parcel delivery.
Next, another DPD email to say 'go get your own parcel' it's been left at the local post office.

Me and my husband are pretty much housebound but I managed to get a lift and go pick it up. Now three days late.

Glad it wasn't a life or death delivery!

I let the Complete Care Shop know what had happened as I thought it was important to let them know that the courier they're using didn't make the delivery on time and as requested and paid for.

They were fantastic, listened and replied to my email complaint sympathetically, apologised for the poor experience and have refunded the cost of the NDD charge.

I also suggested that on the order form there could do with some space or a place/box that the delivery drivers can view any useful local vernacular/ additional details to make locating addresses easier.
I do live in a place that is a little off the beaten track but ironically, DPD deliver my medical supplies so at least one of their drivers knows where the house is!

They said they'll look into that.

This particular incident hasn't put me off ordering from Complete Care Shop at all and next time I will build in some lead in time so I don't require urgent delivery.

Comfortable cushion

wheeled walker for elderly mother

I bought the walker for my elderly Mother as she had a bad leg and she lives it. The walker gives her the stability she needs and it was not expensive. Arrived promptly and ready to use. Very pleased.

Cool Feet…

I don't know why I have never bought them before. they make my feet really cool and comfortable. They are far superior to the Gel Ankle socks, and I would recommend them to everyone.

The No Rinse Shampoo Cap that I bought…

The No Rinse Shampoo Cap that I bought and used was a great disappointment but Complete Care must have read my review and they rang me to discuss further. I was listened to and fully refunded for the Cap and the postage without any fuss. I was treated with respect and understanding which made me feel so much better and more likely to consider using the same Company again.

I misunderstood the sizing!

I misunderstood the sizing. I thought from the measurements for medium they might be a little small, however they turned out to be enormous!
I had to open to see the pants so I know I can’t return
them. Very disappointing!

I have not yet received the item

I have not yet received the item. I opened the main door for the delivery man but instead of coming to my flat he pretended that I was not at home to collect the item. I have now been told by text message to wait until Tuesday.

Order process easy, delivery not so

Order process easy, however goods not yet received. Apparently delivery driver "tried" but said he was unable to deliver as there was no-one in. Not true. Also no calling card nor photo of the property. Presume getting into a block of flats was too difficult. As recipient of parcel is 98 years old it will take time for her to get to her entry system and front door.

Ergonomic walking stick

Good service, although in the end ordered the wrong item as needed ergonomic left handed walking stick but ordered right handed ones. I could have returned the sticks but it was going to be an expensive walking stick. I have therefore kept the right handed walking sticks.
My advice is to make certain that you are ordering the correct item before you place the order and pay.
