Condor won‘t refund 35€ although they made a fault

My experience with Condor was unfortunately very disappointing. Prior to the flight, I reserved two seats in a 2-seat row using the Condor app. The graphical seat map clearly showed a 2-seat configuration, and we paid an additional fee for these specific seats. Due to a health-related incident during our vacation, having a quieter and more private seating arrangement was especially important for us.
However, when we boarded the aircraft, we realized that the row was not a 2-seat row as displayed in the app but a 3-seat row. We were surprised and quite frustrated, as the seating arrangement we had paid for did not match the one provided.
What made the situation even more notable was that several other passengers around us independently told us they had the exact same issue. They also had paid for a 2-seat row and ended up in a 3-seat row instead. Some even mentioned that this had happened to them with Condor on previous flights. The cabin crew also did not seem surprised, and one crew member confirmed that similar cases had occurred before.
Of course, aircraft changes or configuration differences can happen from time to time. However, in such cases, one would expect the app to display this correctly, or at the very least provide a warning that the actual configuration may differ—especially when customers pay extra for a specific seating layout. The fact that multiple passengers were affected and the crew seemed familiar with the issue gave the impression that this might be an ongoing problem rather than an isolated one.
After the flight, we contacted Condor’s customer support and explained the situation. We received a response about a week later. They confirmed that the row was indeed a 3-seat configuration, even though the app had shown a 2-seat row. Nevertheless, they informed us that the seats were “provided as booked,” and therefore a refund would not be issued. From a customer perspective, this is difficult to understand, as the visual information in the app played a key role in our booking decision.
Overall, the way this situation was handled left us very disappointed. From a German airline that emphasizes quality and reliability, we expected both a more accurate technical representation in the app and a more customer-oriented response.
I sincerely hope that Condor will take this feedback seriously and improve both the accuracy of its seat map and the handling of seat reservation issues in the future. Unfortunately, this experience was far from positive for us.

The Condor airline seems to be some kind of trash company. My flight on a Saturday from New York JFK to Frankfurt was canceled by the airline due to weather issues, well, that can unfortunately happen.. However, rebooking was impossible. No costumer service agent was available (neither in the US nor in Germany, of course not: it was weekend, so no costumer service). Phone service = 0 - nobody is picking up the phone, online service = not existing .A convenient flight would have been available the next day, but.....
That's how one drives(flies) a company to the ground.
Well, the fish starts to stink at the head.

My daughter is working for Lufthansa…

My daughter is working for Lufthansa airlines and as an employee she can buy a standby ticket for parents, but she want be sure that we will fly so she purchased a guaranteed ticket which is twice more expensive than normal staff ticket , almost cost as much as normal, we paid 400 euro each way per person from Frankfurt to Phuket (normal price in advance should be around 500 euro.
To get to Frankfurt we bought normal Aerlingus ticket , in Frankfurt we go for checkin and we got a tickets , happy we went to gate and before boarding condore staff call as and other 15 names , all those names was for standby tickets , and they employee said that he don’t have seat for as , but he said that we can wait and if someone not show up then we will fly , I told him that my ticket is guaranteed and should be higher in priority than standard standby tickets, he said „ I know” but I don’t have any seats available for you at the moment.
I would understand this but all those people on stand by ticket was allowed to fly eventually and only me and my wife was refused , so 13 people fly on lower priority ticket then our , is this fair? .
So much money I lost do to this fly was cancel for us.
And this person was rude for as without any reason , he was racist or he just prefers to let boarding employee of condor , but if is like that so what point is to offer expensive guaranteed tickets when don’t give you any advantage.
This fly was on 24/12/2025 at 15:05 from Frankfurt to Phuket.

CON-dor air is Right!

Someone fraudulently used my credit card number to buy a $4000 ticket with this airline and nobody cares or contacted me. They protected the criminal and would not look into it even though there would be a name attached to the ticket purchased on my credit card!! The slow response must be known by frauds. No wonder it’s called CON-dor air

Terrible experience

Terrible experience:
I am a person who needs a wheelchair with a serious cardiac condition and I was left alone at the passport control and they refused to take me to the exit, saying that it's not their problem and they can't go there.
Catering in the business class was the worst one I've ever seen. Very small pieces of cheap food.

Useless app AND website

I fly out in two days, today is the second day the app ia down, just have a big orange screen that says 'Ups, something went wrong. If the problem continues to occur, please contact us at email address'. I wrote them yesterday, no answer and the app still down.
Alternatively, I try to book myself an XL seat for my flight on their website, after selecting the seat, adding my payment details and clicking on 'Pay' it just reloads the page and takes me to the beginning again. So, it's impossible to reserve a seat.
There is a section of the app that does "work", where it's asking me to add my contact details, after adding them, I get the message "Your contact details could not be submitted, please try again later".
Never in my life have I seen such a useless app AND website under the same company. This will be my first and last time flying with Condor. Very frustrating and disappointing.

WARNING: HIDDEN COSTS

IT IS EXPENSIVE DUE TO ALL ADDED CHARGES

It's the only flight company that charges €19.99 extra if you want a vegetarian meal. That makes your journey about €40 more expensive.

They have very little carry-on weight, so they can add costs.

DO NOT FLY WITH THEM IF YOU WANT IT CHEAP. A LOT OF HIDDEN ADD-ONS.

If I could give this airline zero stars I would!

I cannot even begin to express my frustration with the customer service associated with this airline. My baggage was lost for 1 month of my travel. Of course, I had to purchase emergency items, which Condor claims to reimburse.

It has been 1 month since my claim was received and they have 'claimed to reimburse me' yet I have received my official transaction or invoice to declare this, just an email saying they have.

When contacting customer service they lie and deceive to make you believe it has been processed, yet cannot provide official documentation to prove so, then end the chat or phone call on you!!

It is a disgrace, they are criminals and liars

I left my computer on a Condor plane when landing in Frankfurt... I finally got it back after 5 days.

First, don't panic, you are in Germany, the people in charge can find anything as long as it is in Germany. You can take your connection flight. No worries.

Second. Condor has a form to send by email, it's on their website.
No need to call around or every phone number of Frankfurt as I did.
Fill the form. It's a pdf called

found-property-form-english ( just Google it )

Within 24 hours you'll get a reply

When found, Pick-up options:
Directly at the airport, fees 15€

Or they can send it to you by post.. 60€ if you are in EU, 40€ in Germany, well.

Voilà, and thanks to the cleaning team 🙏🖖👍

Misleading Price Signals and Zero Goodwill — Very Disappointing Experience with Condor

I booked four Condor tickets months in advance for a flight in January 2026. The website showed “only 9 seats available,” which strongly suggested urgency and limited availability. Later, I discovered the same flights were being sold for hundreds of euros less than what I paid.

I contacted Condor asking for a small goodwill gesture, such as a complimentary checked bag or voucher. Despite polite communication, every request was rejected, and I was told this would be their final answer.

Condor does not offer any price guarantee, and their “availability” messages are misleading for customers. While their staff were courteous, the lack of flexibility and transparency is extremely disappointing.

Extremely Disappointing Experience with Condor


I had a very frustrating experience with Condor. They charged my account multiple times but never provided the tickets. In the end, they informed me that my ticket was not confirmed. When I reached out via their chat for assistance with a refund, they refused to help.

To make matters worse, they also charged my wife’s account, and she never received a ticket either.

The website’s contact form didn’t work and kept showing an error, so I was unable to file a proper complaint. It seems like their customer service is non-existent, and I am left with no resolution. I would strongly advise others to avoid booking with Condor if you don’t want to face the same issues.

Dont expect anything compassion

I never write reviews, but this experience was truly over the line.

I had booked a flight to Montego Bay that was cancelled less than 24 hours before departure. I only received the cancellation notice while I was already on my way to the airport, having arranged an overnight stay nearby.

When I contacted customer service, I was offered alternative routes and they rebooked my flight — but right after confirming it, they told me they couldn’t guarantee that this new flight would even operate.

I called again, asking for a refund since my grandmother is seriously ill with cancer and I urgently needed to find another way to get there. The airline refused to help, saying I’d have to wait until the next flight was cancelled before I could get my money back.

There was zero understanding, zero empathy, and absolutely no accountability. When I asked to speak with a manager, the agent first claimed to check, then said the manager “doesn’t take calls.”

This whole situation is a complete mess, and I will never book with Condor again. Utterly unprofessional service and no compassion whatsoever for customers facing real emergencies.

Ever tried changing a flight with Condor? Don’t. It’s a masterclass in how not to run an airline in 2025.

I’m currently trying to move my dates — same route, same passengers, even cheaper tickets available online — but apparently, Condor’s systems and policies can’t handle something as radical as… a change. 🤷‍♂️

Their call center is another story altogether: endless holds, scripted responses, and zero empowerment to actually help customers. It’s like shouting into a black box of “holiday service” excuses and waiting for someone to care. Spoiler: no one does.

In a world where every airline talks about “flexibility” and “customer care,” Condor still lives in a time where your only option is to cancel and rebuy — even if that means paying more for less.

So yeah — congratulations, Condor. You’ve officially turned a simple date change into a full-blown travel crisis. 🎉

Shameful company – Condor, you should be ashamed

Condor should be absolutely ashamed of the way they treat their customers. For days I’ve been asking about my flight to Montego Bay on November 12, while you keep cancelling every single flight to the same destination — one after another — yet you still claim mine is “operating”. What a joke.
You cancel flights at the very last minute, give no proper notice, and leave people losing money on hotels, car rentals, and reservations. This is not just bad service — it’s total disrespect.
A serious airline communicates in advance and respects its passengers’ time and money.
Never again, Condor. You’ve lost my trust completely.
