They make false reports and then refuse to rectify it

I was rear-ended while I was at a complete stop by a bicyclist at no time during the entire claims process did the agent or my mechanic insinuate that this was an at fault accident yet when it was all said and done they reported to LexisNexis that this was my fault shooting my premiums through the roof and using that information to decline to renew coverage.

American Family Connect (underwritten…

American Family Connect (underwritten by American Family Insurance) has been the single worst insurance experience of my life. After a major water loss, they failed to provide my family of five (including a nursing infant) with safe, stable housing under the Additional Living Expenses (ALE) portion of my policy.

We were offered homes under construction, with mold and allergen risks, and forced to live day-to-day not knowing where we would be the next night. I’ve had to pay thousands of dollars out of pocket for temporary housing, and even after submitting invoices promptly, reimbursement was delayed or ignored.

Multiple adjusters and supervisors (Kevin Hamilton, Sheila Cuba, Eric Lamb, Byron Rock, Jeff Allen) have been involved, yet the mishandling continues. This has caused enormous stress, financial strain, and harm to my family.

In my opinion, this company operates in bad faith and disregards both its contractual obligations and California insurance law. I would not recommend American Family Insurance to anyone.

I switched to Costco's auto insurance…

I switched to Costco's auto insurance (service provided by American Family Connect Property and Casualty Insurance - connectbyamfam.com) for a cheaper rate, but within two weeks, I returned to GEICO due to a series of frustrating issues. Here are some key points:
- Their online system is incompatible with the Safari browser. I found out hard way.
- They asked my son's residential address proof, but refused to accept his state-issued driver's license listing the same address. Even a credit card statement showing that address was rejected.
- I sent several emails without receiving any responses. When I called, the live agent couldn't assist and said they would look into it.
- Their website doesn't work outside of the USA, which I discovered while traveling.
- The worst part was receiving an email a week later stating that my full coverage had been dropped without any prior indication or communication. This was a major red flag.
I had enough and called to cancel my insurance, but the agent couldn't provide a confirmation number for the cancellation. I had to trust that it would be canceled. I went back to GEICO, preferring to pay a couple of hundred dollars extra for six months of insurance for the peace of mind that I will be well taken care of.

Company is denying a hail damage claim

Company is denying a hail damage claim, saying it's manufacturer defects. Further, they hired an "engineering" firm with a D- BBB rating, with over 137 judgements against them to "review the structural damage" to our siding. Our opinion? Stay away from Connect by affairs indurance!

Do NOT buy Connect insurance

Do NOT buy Connect insurance. Had roof damage by wind storm. Their estimate was for $5602, they paid only $853 !!!!
Rationale; deductible, plus additional deductible percentage, and worse yet, they do not pay for cost of repairs, they pay prorated repairs.

Ms.Tina Outstanding and a Great Asset, truly patient, willing to travel extra mile

Ms. Tina or Mrs. Tina - i did not ask her as it is not Professional...Anyhow,
A. She is a great asset to any Organization
B. She takes time to ensure customer need not call multiple times
C. it is rare nowadays to find like that other than insurance claimer brother Brandon and earlier long back in 1999 - one of specialist- i have been with you all from November 5th 1998 - good Experience like this is not easy nowasays- Tina makes the true difference in the Insurance industry- Very honest, , ethical, integrity, care for the Organization - She is super best- please give her free lunch or put some on her STRL or record we call.....Ensure her manager is aware- happy to put in google when i get time - have lot on my plate
