Same story as others. It is a scam with the Amsterdam Gemeente as a partner. They put tickets on the last rental's customer name, until the day the car is used by someone else (a new customer).
I have rented a car from Connect car for one hour in December 2020. I parked the car in the same location where I took it.
In June 2021 I received a parking ticket from Gemente saying that I did not pay for parking for the connect car for a different day than the one I used the car.
I called connect car and they told me to object. Gemente tells me that I cannot object online and I need to send a letter and that is the mistake of connect car who gave my name. Connect Car does not reply and does not answer to my emails. I called them and they say that they cannot do anything!
Gemente gave me a ticket for a day that I did not have a car! Connect car refuses to help!
In the past I also had a wrong charge because their GPS was faulty!
STAY AWAY from this company!
