Too long waiting for return

When you buy something, it is okay - they take money immediately. Wher you want to return something, then you need to wait few days to send item by PostNL, then Conrad send this back to their German werehouse and again need to wait 10 days...

Items in stock apparently not in stock

My initial experience with Conrad was actually good. Items were delivered in a timely fashion as announced on the website and the prices are competitive. However my last 4 orders all suffered from the same problem: on the website it says that an item is in stock, I order the item and then I get an email apologizing that it's actually not in stock and they don't know when it's going to be delivered. Customer support is only able to say "Sorry, there is nothing I can do about it". Actually, you can: pass along these complaints so that you make sure to have a website that reflects your stock; how about cancelling the order and giving the money back?

Stock item keeps on getting delayed

Ordered 2 items mid of january. 1 item on stock, the other 8 to 11 days delivery time. End of january received an email second item will be delivered ww5 (frist week of february). Yesterday received an email the delivery is changed to ww8. Surprisingly that particular item is shown on the website as ON STOCK.

Terrible service !

Jan 14, placed order, 1 item stated as "deliverable in 8 to 11 days" while on the website it states "on stock"
Jan 18, one item from the order is sent out
Jan 18, received the invoice. Second item stated as "will be delivered within +/- one week" (website still states "on stock")
Jan 19, first item of 2 is delivered
Jan 25, email received that delivery is delay another week. It states "WILL be delivered in wk5.2021"
Feb 2, contacted Conrad
Feb 4 Conrad states that something is wrong with my 2nd item. A new order is created (the website still states item is "on stock"
Feb 9 - Conrad states we expect to receive the item in our stock on thursday (Feb 11)
Feb 12 - No changes in the order: Conrad does not know it the item has be coming in
Feb 15 - Conrad sends an email - delivery date is changed to ww8.2021

Returned an item and Conrad resolved it to all my wishes

Product (power box) that got delivered did work but had a minor malfunction that resulted in sending the item back after some time. Fortunately Conrad send me a replacement item back quite fast, one which works correctly.

Ruined my child's christmas

Advertised a pre-christmas delivery and then sent a weird email with an attachment that blamed 'their supplier' for letting me down. Not good enough, especially as they are listed as an authorised distributor of the product (Oculus). Strange website, I'll never try them again.

Products were delivered, the website is horrible

The website is pretty bad, I needed to reach out to the support to keep updated. Updates on an order in a PDF attachment is really not something to expect.
On the other hand, I received two of my orders despite the high demand, so overall I'm happy.

Got out-of-stock product delivered before estimated delivery date

Called last week for a product that is out of stock world wide and Conrad had it as 'delivered as soon as back in stock'. I knew another (small) shop was expecting delivery one of these days but had a huge backorder so was looking for alternatives. First of all, I got a very nice and helpful man on the phone after waiting less than a minute. They expected delivery around the 18th on their side, if i order now i will likely be in this first batch he said. You hear this from companies more often but he seemed to have good insight on what their expected supply/backorder situation was so I pulled the trigger. Now just a week later the package got delivered (16th) which is well before their estimation and my expectation. Well packaged, good updates via email, didnt have any issues but my contact by phone was very good. 5 stars from me :)

A few points to improve on

I keep coming back because of the massive number of articles Conrad offers, but there are a few fundamental challenges with their service that keep me from giving them 5 stars.

1 major point is the filtering and search capabilities within their platform. Try to search for en electrical component and filter down to what you actually need. It is nearly impossible as sometimes you can be presented with dozens of options to narrow it down. Amazing in this day and age that they do not have a better website for that.

The other star they miss has to do with delivery. They are slow. Slower than most and you often think something must have gone wrong. Why would a part that is in stock need three to four days to be delivered? That is often the case with Conrad, so if I need something fast, I go elsewhere....

Because we have a huge range of more than 750.000 products, we have not stored everything in our warehouse in southern Germany. If the item is in stock, our delivery time is 1-3 working days. We also have articles on the site of which we have a stock at the supplier. A longer delivery time applies for this.
