The Wellington team did a great job getting my things on the truck and the customer service team were really friendly however when my stuff all arrived all my cardboard boxes and all my plastic boxes that weren’t heavy duty were broken or dented. We also found a tear in our lazy boy however when reading the paper that I was told to sign “to say I received my goods” but actually was to say I received them in good condition it meant that we couldn’t claim insurance. For the money we paid this was disappointing.

The service was great from start to finish, great communication from the office and Nick and Lester were amazing at pick up - very skilled at loading and very efficient with the unload.

We underestimated the amount to be moved but conroy's honoured thier quote and took the overflow included.

These guys were professional and really proactive, helpful and very focused on getting the job done to the best of their ability. I would totally recommend them to anyone who is moving.

The pick up and drop off worked well and we were well informed at every step of the way.
Unfortunately the chests were damaged in the process. One had a large crack in the wood and another had a broken section. There was an original crack that was noted but these were newly damaged sections. Also, when they arrived, one chest had no wrapping on part of the chest.

We moved from Wellington to Christchurch with storage of items for a couple of weeks. Guys were lovely at both ends and there was no damage (we packed our own). Couldn’t have gone smoother. Thanks!

A very smooth pickup and delivery operation with very good communications from Conroy. Quote easy to obtain by sending photographs and a list of items. I pre-packed my possessions and labelled most of my boxes. Everything was picked up quickly from my house. Delivery the next day to my retirement apartment was put in place as requested. Because I had a floor plan for my apartment I was able to get everything unpacked within 2 days. My new home sweet home.

We have used Conroy's for over 20 years - and each year they are professional and communicative. This years shipment was incredibly easy and the best yet. Thank you team for handling our very fragile stone sculptures - no breakages at all this year. Much appreciated.

Conrow managed the NZ leg of our move from Sweden to NZ. Great communication and held us updated on progress. Friendly personnel that were willing to listen and accommodate my requests in the delivery and unloading of goods. Careful in handling of goods. Very satisfied.

Very skilled movers. The boys were helpful, very obliging and polite, and took great care with everything. Couldn’t ask for more. Wouldn’t use anyone else.

I had some boxes to be moved from Sydney to Far North New Zealand. From the start the quote was professional, the communication was superb, the staff were really easy to deal with and it was done with minimal fuss and I was constantly updated as the boxes were shipped and went through customs.

Would highly recommend and would absolutely use them again.

We packed up a Wellington house of 40 years and it was destined for 2 locations - Auckland and Coromandel. The Wellington house was 3 storied plus garage and underhouse workshop. A difficult driveway meant double handling of every item. Izzy and Trey (plus another, name escapes me) worked like trojans for 2 days, finishing at 7pm on day 2. Packup and arrival occurred on our nominated days with good communication about timing. One desk went to the wrong location but this was rectified on the box pick-up day.
One small wooden ladder seems to be missing and Craig (our communications man in Auckland) has noted this. Hopefully it will turn up.
Apart from this it was a seamless process at a good price. Will definitely recommend the company.

I would not recommend Conroy’s Christchurch at all. We got multiple quotes for our move from Christchurch to Sydney as the most important thing to us was going with the company that would get it there the quickest, we even didn’t mind paying more for that. We chose Conroy’s as the were going to be the quickest with our goods arriving door to door within 6-10 weeks but I was told that it would be closer towards the 6 week mark as opposed to the 10 week mark. The thing that really sold me was I was assured once the items were packed and collected, they would not be sitting around in NZ, they had a great international coordinator organising shipments to leave and because we had given them over 2 months notice, there would be no delay.
This was far from what happened. Our goods left our home on the 24th September. I was told I would get automatic updates every 15 days, I never received one. After calling and calling asking for updates I was constantly told everything was on track. 3 weeks had passed and our goods were still sitting in NZ. After pushing for an update, I was told what was meant to be good news that they were booked to leave NZ on the 8th November! 6.5 weeks after collection. After I pushed back and said this was not what I was told they somehow found a way to get it on a boat on the 23rd October arriving in Sydney on the 28th October. Then next part of dishonesty happened. They said it would only take 1-2 weeks from when it arrived in Sydney to be delivered to our door and that they marked it as ‘urgent’. I followed that up with the Sydney branch and none of that is correct. It take 3-5 weeks minimum to clear customs and then up to 1-2 weeks after that to be delivered to your door and there was no such thing as marking something as urgent, they all go part of the same queue. This now meant the original quoted timeline of 6-10 weeks for door to door was completely incorrect.
I trusted Conroy’s with the timeframe they told me which is essentially how they got my business, over $13,000 worth and it has been dishonest the whole time. When I have tried to get answers from the Christchurch branch, the way I have been treated is disgusting. I was told “somethings in life don’t go to plan” “Surely I have had things in my life not go to plan”. Absolutely, yes, but not when I am paying a company a huge amount of money to deliver a service when they knew the way to get my business was to be the company that offered the quickest delivery.
Absolutely disgusting service, promised something that was never achievable which feels dishonest and shady just to secure business.
