Bad Order System and No Accountability

Terrible customer service. This month I placed 3 separate orders and was billed for all three yet the orders were not filled (2 were missing high priced items and 1 was not filled at all). I had unreturned emails and then many calls with customer service receiving various explanations and promises that expedited replacements had been shipped which had not. The final conversation today was with a rep who argued that Coolibar only takes the orders and bills the customer and they have no responsibility to actually deliver the product or contact the customer when items they were billed for were never shipped-that is all up to "the warehouse" and UPS. The rep argued that this practice is fine and it will not negatively impact Coolibar's business. I disagree- find another sun protective brand if you think it is important to actually receive the item you have been charged for or at least to be contacted about an unfilled but billed order. Coolibar rep said it is totally up to the customer to call them about unfilled orders because Coolibar has no idea whether the order is actually filled.

I would not order from Coolibar again based on this experience.

I placed an order over a month ago, and one of the items was missing from the shipment. Since then, I've had no success getting any help. The website chat service is essentially useless—I waited for over an hour without receiving a response from a real person.

There seems to be no effective way to follow up on missing items or get support regarding an order problem. While the products may be good, the lack of customer service and communication makes it very difficult to recommend this company.

Did not receive order

I have purchased from this company before and had no issues. This made me decide to purchase from Coolibar again. Unfortunately this time I’ve had a bad experience. I’ve never received the shipment. I contacted Coolibar customer service twice and have gotten no response. Buyer beware.

Unacceptable customer service and return policy

I have a closet full of Coolibar clothes, but I recently had a bad experience and their customer service policies are completely unacceptable. I tried to take advantage of a promotion with escalating discounts. Filled the cart with $200 worth of items to qualify for a 30% discount. Saw the discount applied. When I actually confirmed the purchase, poof! The discount disappeared and they charged me the full amount. This was on a weekend and their customer service is only M-F. I sent an immediate email to their customer service email provided. Called first thing Monday morning and was told there was nothing they could do, because it would have had to have been caught immediately. I will be returning the entire order when it arrives, and will never do business with this company again.

First Time Coolibar Purchaser

I have never purchased directly from Coolibar. I did order a Coolibar shirt for my husband from Amazon because of their favorable return policy and he loved it. This time I ordered a shirt for him, confident of the size, as well as a swim bottom and tankini top for myself. The swim bottoms fit great but the top is tight and difficult to put on. I will have to order the next size up and now pay for shipping as well as a return fee to return the top that does not fit. I much prefer to purchase items directly from the company who makes the product but these companies need to match the free shipping and ease of return that Amazon offers.

On my first order, the package did not arrive on time, but your representative quickly responded to my concerns by refunding the express delivery charge i had paid. The second order went flawlessly, And, I love your product

dishonest practices

The products themselves seem good, but the service and returns practice let them down. Delivery was slow. I placed this order in mid-May and didn't receive it until almost two weeks into June. Tracking information is poor, and contacting them is no better. I'm a returning customer: on my first order, my queries about shipping went unacknowledged entirely; this time they did reply, but late, explaining they were overwhelmed by sales. Plenty of sales, then, yet customers are still treated this way.
On sizing: Coolibar publish measurements for each size, yet some garments run noticeably larger than others bearing the same size label. When you return these clearly mis-sized items, they deduct a fee from your refund, so you end up paying for their mistake. I raised this with customer service and was told that all garments fit differently, despite their OWN SIZE CHART saying otherwise. I'm still waiting to be reimbursed. I won't be returning.

Order 991348113

Order 991348113. FedEx tracking created on June 4. Still no tracking progress on June 12. Two emails were sent to coolibar customer service with no reply. Called FedEx and they said the package is still with the shipper. Called Coolibar customer service, and they said it's FedEx problem. I asked to resend the item because technically the item wasn't sent at all, but got refused due to international order. I can have the refund and then order online again. But the item is not on sale anymore. Most companies will resend the item if the customer doesn't receive it within a certain time frame. It shows on the tracking progress very clearly that the package has zero movement for 6 business days. Coolibar is not taking responsibility for their problems. They don't seem to care about the customers.

Very bad costumer service

Hi, I am very disappointed with the customer service. I have sent multiple messages via email and live chat over the past 4 days, but I got no response.
I have a very urgent situation.
I received a package with a missing item, that I already ordered two times now because you guys did something wrong again.
So please check my emails and Facebook DM'S that I have send to you guys, and please respond.

Customer Service is just fine!

People seem to really rant against the customer service team, but I've called in twice and received a helpful agent both times! The email response (clarification on return policy, which is honestly pretty clear to begin with) took a few days, and the on-hold time was ~15 minutes (needed help cancelling an order), but with a bit of patience you can get any answer you need.

Coolibar ignored my emails

Coolibar ignored my emails, messages and review on google regarding my refund. Coolibar sent me a holding email on 8 June 2026 whilst Coolibar generate interest from my unpaid refund and others in similar position. Coolibar would have continued to ignore my refund request had I not contacted my bank.

Perfect SPF dresses!

It was slightly challenging to find specially what I was looking for when looking between categories. One challenge is guessing size since my experience to date is that items tend to run larger than expected.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service, no one returns messages and you will not get a credit on damaged items that you have returned. They charge a return fee charge as well! Ridiculous service, don’t order from them they are awful at customer service!

I would give zero rating if I can!

I would give zero rating if I can!! 2 day air delivery fed ex ordered on 5/27/26 and still waiting for it on June 1St.
Called customer service and waited 11 minutes before hanging up! Sent two emails and none answered yet!!
Will not give my business to this company again. Will ask my credit card company for refund.
Wanted merchandise two days prior and paid $15. So sorry I ordered it with this company.
