Worst Online Tire Purchase Experience

I ordered winter tires on November 12, and today is December 3 — I still have no clear information about shipping. Every time I call customer service, I get a different answer. They promised December 2, now they say December 15.

A supervisor even suggested I just cancel the order. Completely unreliable service.

I do NOT recommend buying tires from Costco. This has been the worst online shopping experience of my life.

2 incidents-Terrible service

2 incidents-Costco Huntclub rd. Ottawa Sunday November 16th instore customer service - I was rudly interupted while making my return by the customer service agent and a passery having a personal conversation that seemed to go on for about 5-10 minutes. My service was stopped. When I eyed them they said sorry but kept on talking. Shall I be permitted to say it was not in english or french. Costco Kanata Wedensday November 26th. At check out cabbage rolls were spilled inside my "costco" bag. Bagger folded my bag and proceeded to put it in my cart flithy. Long time expereinced casher explained to him that is not how things are done here. He cleaned my bag as best he could as the "bagger' looked on . Several times now I have not been able to be served in either official language at these store.s.

BRING KIRKLAND WHITE TEE SHIRTS BACK!

Ok Mr Costco, I give it to you; you make the very best Kirkland white tee shirts on the planet. There, I said it. Why on earth would you stop selling them, online or in the stores? In case you haven’t noticed, they are one of your staple items that you sell. Make all your money selling memberships and merchandise, have your snacks so the shoppers can test, but get those tee shirts back! No sweet talking, no political jargon, just put them back in the stores and online. It’s not like it’s been very recent, it’s been a while and winters coming. I will do a free commercial for you if you bring them back. You have my word!

Costco Rip Off

We moved just over one year ago from the North Coast of BC to more central inland. When ordering a small order from Costco.ca they want want to charge $45.00 shipping when shipping to our old Address which is 4 1/2 hours further west it is free. A town that is 45 mins from us free. Crazy thing is if I still had a dog I could get 10 or more bags of dog food shipped free but not anything else. I have called and emailed a number of times with no luck. If we have to pay a big shipping fee it doesn't make since to order online. Costco head office and IT dept need to look and see we are not Rural have had many things from other companies with free shipping. Costco get your act together.

Disgusting behaviour by supervisors at the Brantford location. This store runs rampant with sexual harassment, harassment, gossip, bullying and people being treat unfairly. Management just turns a blind eye to everything and in fact, makes it worse on you if you bring it to their attention. If any employees are reading this. Start filing complaints with HR and corporate. Don’t be scared, get it on record!! If nothing is done about it seek a lawyer.

Canceled my membership due to lack of…

Canceled my membership due to lack of use, was told refund was returned Oct 6, nothing was deposited, called again and was told would be deposited again...... almost a week later still nothing. Called my bank and requested a transaction dispute hopefully get to the bottom of this.

Customer Service sucks!

I have been on the phone for 45 minutes calling several 1800,1888 numbers and no answer even on the "talk to a live person number. This is not acceptable. I need to find the status on an order and
phone inquiries are going nowhere. I should have ordered this item on Amazon the customer service is amazing and most times items are priced better, and return are easy. I don't have my order, can't check status, Why in the hell did I Try Costco on line order. This SUCKS!

Costco toilet paper is awful!

Costco toilet paper is awful!! I used to go to Costco just for toilet paper but UT gas changed!! We are now using almost a roll a day and there are only 2 of us! It used to do us at least 4 days! You have to use so much at once now as it is so thin your fingers go right thru it. I am soooo angry about this change in their toilet paper!!

We paid a fortune to buy beef

We pay a fortune to buy beef, in Calgary Alberta and the quality of the beef at Costco is so bad. I bought some sirloin tip roasts, to treat my daughter and son in-law and grandchildren and they were full of fat and gristle, very tough when I cooked them, no flavour. Where ever Costco buy their beef from, they need a new vendor, the roast was like it was a mercy killing of an old bull steer.

Online Orders

I do not understand a company like Costco should be able to compete with Amazon, Best Buy, Home Depot etc. Online orders from Costco take much longer, their customer service has NO idea when or where they will delivery. There use of third party warehouse and transport is very poor since profits first customers last. Suggest go somewhere else or if not in store forget about it. This is not the first time.

Costco is growing a lot for a reason.

I mainly shop at costco and online shopping yes im buying my items from massive cooperation because I have to look out for myself in this economy.
Costcos model of thin margins to sell consumers high quality items will keep me loyal to this company.

Don’t buy their appliances!!!

We bought a fridge from Costco a year and a half ago with a two year warranty. It broke and was freezing everything at the back of our fridge. As per their warranty, they would send out a repair man, or give us a refund. They wouldn’t send out a repairman because the fridge was made in China and they can’t get the parts for it and it had a Hamilton Beach name tag on it. As per their warranty, they were supposed to give us all of our money back. Now they tell us not only will they not send out a repair man, we have to pay to get it hauled away, which is $200 in our area because of the freon and they will not pay for that or the inconvenience of having a fridge taken away. Nowhere in their warranty did it state this at the time. We also don’t get the tax back. So a year and a half later fridges are twice the amount that we paid at Costco. I will never ever,ever buy an appliance from Costco again because they didn’t stand up to their warranty. It is a third-party that they contract out, but Costco needs to be held accountable for this as they certainly get the money for the appliance at the time. We had to cut the cord off the back of the fridge and send the company a video of us doing that. In the meantime, we had to shell out money for a new fridge before we could get the refund. They just don’t care. Never ever again.

I think costco is worth it but it has a few problems which is why its not reaching 5 stars, like the parking which was commneted below. But overall the customer is pretty good and the what they sell is better than most places

Beware of Costco online ticket vouchers

Bought a voucher and for Cirque du Soleil. After checking box that they were non refundable, proceeded to find out the assigned seats were already sold and filled. After being bounced through a lot of hoops I get gaslit for being a sucker of the scam.

No stars deserved, horrible service

No stars deserved. Trash and horrible service. They enforced a policy on not bringing other items bought in other stores and managed not to inform people before they came to shop. I had to wait outside with my items while my husband did the shopping.

Even had the audacity to tell me to put the items in my car. If I had a car why will I bring the items in the first place??? Horrible management.

Kerron is the worst manager at Merivale Costco branch as he didn’t exhibit any form of kindness or solution. What rubbish

I ordered (and paid for) luggage in…

I ordered (and paid for) luggage in late July. When it didn't arrive by the end of August, I reached out.

Since then, I have gotten the run around. First, it was misplaced. Next, I needed to go to the post office to arrange delivery (which I did). Then was told it was delivered and signed for but they lost that so couldn't provide who signed for it.

Then I was offered a 5% refund. After going back and forth, they are now offering 20%.

They apparently only competent in losing things.

If you are thinking of ordering something, DON'T and save yourself a lot of disappointment and hassle. It's not worth it!!!
