BIG price little food

Ok review of Cousins Maine Lobster....big yes on the rolls. Omg they are good however $30 for lobster on a slice of texas bread is a bit over priced and not filling for the price. The lobster and tots eh...its good but the tail was a little over cooked. Overall a 1-5 scale ill give it a 3 mainly due to the WAY over pricing and not enough for the moneu you pay.

Total scam! Trash! Rip off!

Total scam! Not only was the food rubbery, over priced, and under portioned, it was cold, not even luke warm. And if there was any garlic butter it must have fell off when they were making the sandwich. I literally get more satisfaction from stubbing my toe on the corner of the couch when walking to the kitchen for a glass of water at 3am

Frozen goods are mediocre at best & VERY EXPENSIVE …

Used to eat at DiMillo's On the Water in Portland Maine while waiting for the Ferry to Peaks Island so i am very familiar with Main lobster and the famous :"Lobster Roll." In my opinion "this ain't it" spent over $300 for disappointing so-so food food. Perhaps from the food truck its different and good but the frozen product was VERY DISAPPOINTING!! Lesson learned

Ordered 2 lobster sandwiches

Ordered 2 lobster sandwiches, Taco hardly any lobster, tasteless. A Main lobster on a bun, tasteless, the bun looked like a hot dog roll. The lobster bisque was very thin/watery. And SUPER EXPENSIVE. NOT EATING THERE EVER AGAIN!

I got super excited that a lobster…total disappointment

I got super excited that a lobster truck and not just a lobster, but a Maine lobster food truck was going to be in my area. (being from Boston) so my husband and I scoped out the menu before heading out to the food truck, knowing we were going to spend a lot of money for a good meal we can spilt. turned out to be the biggest disappointment of the day, the clam chowder was not even close to the worst chowder I have ever had, came home and had to add my own New England touch to it to make close to a soup and not a cream base crap it was. Now on to the lobster roll if you want to call it that, fresh from frozen, No flavor at all needed the saltwater and seasoning, butter was light if any. we spent 125 with a tip for three rolls and a chowder.
What a waste.

Disappointed

I had been at Watermark Brewery in Stevensville, MI. I ordered the lobster quesadilla, which comes with a side of pico de gallo. The guy hands me my bag and this was such a disappointment to see (see photo). I was going to walk back and ask him about the lack of pico but there was a line and I didn't want to cut in line or make a scene.

First, there were no smiles from either staff working in the truck. If anything, they appeared annoyed. Second, if they were running out, just tell their customers and either charge less or offer another side.

We've ordered from 3 trucks in the area and 2 out of the 3 were a similar experience (no smiles, appears annoyed).

For a food truck, even though it's lobster, it's overpriced and overrated.

I refuse to order from them ever again.

Dave your money and your time it's not worth it

Waited since 2012 to try this. Super disappointed and wish I could get my money back. This is running purely on people wanting to try them because no way they are getting repeat business. One the order I placed on app in parking lot not ready. They had to ask me the order details and still gave it to me without the extra butter and lemon on the side. The sandwich to be the same looked completely different from each other. My mom said hers was soggy and fishy tasting. Mine was fishy tasting not like the lobster I had on Valentine's Day. I was very grateful I didn't purchase anything else. The staff had no clue and seemed possibly under the influence. I really expected more all the way around. The truck wasn't even clean and I snapped a picture. Just saying if your representative of a brand and use the TV shows to boost you. I'd expect some professionalism but would have overlooked it if the food was good. Straight up a zero what's going on with the sharks and the cousins.....???

Cousins Maine (Harrisburg)is a joke

These folks are like a bunch of kids that took their parents truck and are trying to make fast money. The food was cold and ill prepared. They had no change, no electronic payment and were late showing up. Wasted good money on non-refundable crap. Do better.

what a disappointment

I have wanted to try Cousins Maine Lobster ever since it was on Shark Tank in 2012, today we finely had the chance. The truck was parked at our local Low's in Santa Maria CA. WOW what a disappointment! We ordered two different lobsters rolls, tots and clam chowder for $82. We ordered on-line and were given a time and order number for pick-up. We arrived at our pick up time and were told to wait about 5 min. 25 minutes later our order was ready, The clam chowder was OK, the tots were mushy and the lobster was flavorless. What a waste of time and money

Visited Cousins Maine Lobster truck in…

Visited Cousins Maine Lobster truck in Union City, Tn today and was very disappointed. I had ordered Lobster Bisque from them on the past and was very satisfied with the amount of actual Lobster in the Bisque. Today my large Bisque had very very little to none. I don't think I'll be back and won't recommend.

Lobster okay but overpriced for amount of food

Could not order online using the app. At least the line at the window was not long. While the lobster was tasty, it was something off a kid's menu - very small amount. I have lived on the Maine coast and know what lobster rolls should be. Not worth $24.00 for the small amount

One and done

We saw this food truck at a Christmas festival in Maiden NC We had seen It around other places and decided to give it a try. We wanted a cup of bisque but were told that they didn’t have any. A warm soup would have been a perfect on this chilly night, but apparently they didn’t see it that way. We got the warm lobster rolls instead. They were delicious, truly outstanding in flavor, but they were obscenely expensive. They were tiny, and definitely no where near worth the outrageous price. It’s is definitely a “one and done” experience for us. We won’t be back. Two stars is generous, only because the flavor was good.

Not Worth The Money

The good news is, the food is very, very good.

$22 for a small lobster roll. And I mean small. For an extra $6, you can get extra lobster meat. This time I splurged and spent the extra $6. Honestly, to me, it didn't look like there was any more meat than the standard small lobster roll. $28? Really?

The Lobster Bisque soup is good also, but $11 for a really small bowl. Cup-size to me.

I usually treat myself on occasion, but this last $40 venture really turned me off. So not again..
