This is a great gadget specially I my mums case. She's been diagnosed with Alzheimer so this watch with all it's perks gives us reassurance. Being able to track her health and where she is became much easier with guardian4. Sure sometimes there's problems with the satellite signal but overall it's great and the customer support it's really helpful and friendly. Thank you all
Got my mother a Guardian watch primarily for the tracking and fall alert features as she now lives abroad. Used the heart rate feature and noted a very slow heart rate. Monitored for a while and advised her to see a GP. Thankfully so as the watch was correct and she was instantly fast-tracked for the fitting of a regulator/pacemaker! Watch was a lifesaver! Plus the customer support we have received has been amazing. Very helpful and patient.

My request was dealt with very efficiently and I found your operator very polite and friendly.
I felt I would be happy to call again with any future query or request.

Bought for my elderly mother. Arrived fine but watch would not link through the qr code with the app or thru the IE number. Left messages on the help line and sent mails. No response. Finally got someone on the phone. Could not help so returned it. No response and no money. Am lodging a small claims and a charge back on the credit card

I have now been able to speak to customer services who have refunded my payment. Thank you. I have reviewed the star rating as the service provided was excellent. As my issue was with the customer services and not the service provided.
My original review was that I have been contacting CPR via telephone and chat bot and been promised a return call but no one was returning my call. Leading to the yearly payment being taken.

I bought the Guardian 3 watch for my mother-in-law. I had some initial set up issues due to trying to use my own SIM card. Despite this the help and support I received was exceptional, and the whole team went above and beyond to help me resolve the issues. Eventually, I had to abandon my own SIM as that was the problem (confirmed by the SIM provider!) but the support team were still very happy to help me get the watch up and running with another SIM. A special shout out to Chelsea, who was super helpful and very patient with me - thank you so much for all your time and commitment! It's so refreshing to receive technical support from someone who genuinely cares about the customer.

The CPR guardian is brilliant, worn like a watch, well it does give you the time, so it isn't intrusive and people dont realise you are wearing an alarm system.
It detects when you have fallen and immediately calls your contacts and keeps going till someone answers. It is great for the wearers safety while being discreet.

Terrible experience and customer service. Would not recommend.
Got a Guardian 3 for my mother and after 5 months it stopped working. It took 6 months for them to finally send a Guardian 4 replacement.
The Guardian 4 uses an old 2G network and could never locate my mother.
Customer service is so slow, it takes about a month for them to respond.

The Guardian watch was a key factor in my father being able to remain in his own home for the last 3 years up to his recent passing. The Guardian technical support was excellent in setting the watch up in the first place - knowledgeble and patient & friendly - and then we had no issues with the watch the whole time we had it.

Dreadful service, please avoid this company.
I contacted them 18th December with an issue as it was not working, received a response to say I would hear something within 24 hours.
3 days and I've heard nothing, and still chasing them.
Totally unreliable.

What I mean by the title is not that it will hurt the wearer, what I mean is that it gives you that impression that your vulnerable wearer is safer. My 94 year old mother had a bad fall while wearing the product and it failed in two major ways.
1) I assume because she fell in a carpetted room, the fall detection didn't work even though it was on its most sensitive setting that would cause it to set off the "Are you OK" message on the watch regularly when she knocked her arm on something.
2) Even worse, she tried the SOS button repeatedly and although the sound went off, none of the people were rung. As a result she spent over 12 hours on the floor in the dark overnight unable to get up and repeatedly soiling herself.
When I checked the watch it is coming up with a message about SIM not found, despite working for a couple of years.
Although the watch would not have prevented the fall, had it worked it would have prevented her overnight ordeal, which when she finally left hospital meant that she was too scared to remain on her own anymore and therefore was the direct cause of her loss of independence and need to move into a Care Home where she is now deteriorating due to lack of stimulation.
Use at your own risk, you have been warned.

This was bought for my mother. We paid for the top level of monitoring but found from doing test calls that response time is very slow, and unreliable. The app has out of date contact details for the company help line; which is not helpful in an emergency. The help line is often unmanned. The watch alarm goes off randomly. It has become a source of anxiety rather than comfort and we shall be cancelling it. Which is disappointing given the up front cost of the watch being relatively high.

New Update 3: Now in positive communications with CPR Team. The original watch has been replaced without issue and appears to be working better and more reliably than the original. GPS updates are proving a challenge, however the team are trying to resolve the issues.
Despite the issues I have stuck with this, on paper this watch is perfect for our needs. Im feeling more confident with the customer service I am now getting and hoping teething problems can be resolved.
*SOS button activated yesterday and worked as expected alerting us by phone and text.
New Update 2: Discovered new troubles with system last week. Fall detection triggered without cause early in the week but when Dad had a very heavy fall last Thursday, sustaining a nasty head injury, we are not sure how long he was on the floor before neighbour discovered him. This is worrying and disappointing. Something was happening with the app as the sensitivity setting disappeared for a few days? it's back but it will not save an amendment to setting? Last weekend the app was not working at all, no new location for 3 days (althought it's always very intermittent) steps, pulse etc not updating. Things seemed to come back gradually on Monday. I guess the server was down or being worked on? These products are being sold as potential lifesavers, any outages should be communicated with users. The only positive is that the calls do seem to have some reliability so I can call him on it if he doesn't answer his phone.
That takes me to customer service/support, basically there isn't any! It's over a week since I tried calling, there's just a recording which directs you to an online request form. I completed another one (4th), auto reply advised 24hr response. I've heard nothing.
From my multiple request forms and email, I have had just one callback, coincidentally soon after posting a negative review here.
We are paying a significant amount for something that does not work, there is no support.
Update: help desk called, now up on working on Android, very helpful once contact made.
I selected this watch for my father as it stated it was compatible with Apple and Android. I have however not been able to download a working app for my android, the Prp plus is not on Google store and the link given by CPRs own bot is defunct. This has led to delay in getting up and running and now relying on my young niece to set up and monitor from her I-phone, not ideal. I have tried ringing the 0800 number of instructions, that is no longer working and directs you to another number which in turn directs you the service request form on the website. I have completed several of these over the last few weeks, each time getting an auto response from Chelsea saying I would be contacted in next 24hrs - nothing further! The watch itself seems OK, not fully trsted functions yet, but do need that Android app urgently!
Zero stars for customer service.

The watch has worked fine for just over a year and then it failed to recognise the mobile network. Numerous technical incidents raised to resolve the issue with no closure therefore the intended use of the watch is not being fulfilled. Slow response on technical support only draws the problem out. There must be a better product on the market.

I ordered the wat h and paid the one off annual fee including insurance.
I opted to set up contacts myself and found it very easy to do. The watch has variousoptions:step monitor, heartbeat monitor etc and is very robust.
Sadly the watch wasn't for me and I returned it in October after speaking to Hollie. She sent me a prepaid return envelope and the refund was duly processed.
Excellent Customer Service!
I have given 5 stars for Hollie who has helped me change over my watches. I originally bought 2 watches one for myself and the other for my husband who had a terminal illness. As my watch was now showing signs of wear I changed over to use my late husband's watch. Hollie helped me do that and was very patient with my questions and difficulty of hearing!
I decided to remain with CPR Guardian as recently had a newer sim card and the watch was meeting my basic needs of heart monitoring and emergency contact with friends if needed.
Bought the product a couple of weeks ago and now sent back for refund. Company took ages to recover from Amazon platform issues and so product just didn't function. Very good on ultimate return and refund but make use of trial period to ensure product and service works for you. Sad as product concept looks good.
Needed to ask for help with pairing watch to phone. Gentleman talked me through process with great calm and empthy. I then rang again regarding a payment as wished to change to yearly it was handled no bother at all and everyone I spoke to was very helpful and polite. I got this watch as I had a nasty fall and now feel very safe knowing my sons could be on hand if I needed them. A very satisfied customer.
Shocking product having had a product from an alternative company for my father. Battery charge - poor, customer service- poor, GPS facility - poor, tracking - poor, fall detection - bonkers even on the lowest setting.
Please don’t waste your money - try an alternative product.
