Used to love these but…

Used to love these, thought they were decent value for money but started using a lot of AI on socials and I left a comment saying I was disappointed by it and it seems I’ve been blocked LOL. If you care about creative industries and the environment don’t bother with them as they seem to be okay with using a lot of AI.

Took more money then they should

I made a small purchase on the Crafty Ponies stand at LIHS, it totalled £7 but they took £32 off my card. Luckily I noticed my quick balance had dropped, checked and went straight back. The young guy on the stand thought it was funny, the older man who had made the mistake didn't really apologise and had to give me my money back in cash. Although it rectified his mistake, it ruined the rest of my day as not many places were accepting cash and I had no way of getting it back in my bank so was left with no spending money for an event I'd looked forward to all year. Honestly, if you can't work a card machine don't sell things to people. I can only imagine how how difficult they would of been had i not noticed while still at the show and immediately made them deal with their mistake, would they even have been capable of issuing a refund over the phone or would they have refused? Never using them again as cannot be trusted not to "accidently" add £25 to a customers bill.

Last year

Last year, I discovered this brand through a Facebook ad and I really wish I hadn't! Imagining how much I would have adored these as a kid, I decided they would be my daughters' main Christmas gifts. Unfortunately, the customer service was not just lacking; it was non-existent. I tried emailing, calling, and eventually messaging on Facebook to get a simple query resolved before ordering. Despite mentioning that I planned to make a significant purchase of £300, there was still no response. I ended up ordering anyway to ensure the gifts arrived by Christmas. The wait for the package was nerve-wracking as it showed up at the very last minute, with no email responses along the way. I remained courteous throughout but had hoped for an apology or a thank you note, which never came. I almost left a negative review back then but held off.Fast forward to this year, my daughter wanted another one for her birthday on October 28th. Recalling my previous experience, I ordered well in advance on September 16th. As of November 12th, the item hasn't even been dispatched. They've taken my money with no intention of sending the item, and they've been dishonest by blaming Royal Mail, COVID, and other excuses. The website claims a 48-hour Royal Mail tracked delivery, yet they click the dispatch button just after you order, misleading customers into thinking it's the postal service's fault when they haven't actually sent it. They offer to resend the item as if it was lost, while constantly making excuses. It's baffling how they manage to keep getting customers, likely due to the unusual lack of negative reviews. I understand they're a small business, but communication is crucial. Rather than relying on someone inexperienced, they should hire someone who can handle orders properly. If they cared about their business, they'd respond to emails. Wouldn't it be simpler to ship the items rather than ignore numerous emails and fabricate excuses? They seem more focused on setting up pony scenes for social media than answering

We love crafty ponies

We love crafty ponies, especially our daughter, who is obsessed with them and got her first last year.
I made a small order for some accessories and the order arrived the next day!
These learning toys are a great way for children to build their knowledge of horses and pony care, and you can see a lot of attention to detail has been placed on everything from the horses themselves to the tack and other accessories. I've learned so much myself, just from reading the included materials, which are really thorough and easy for kids to understand and digest.
I'm a CP convert, and I'd highly recommend their products and service.

Great toys and personal service

A mistake on my part caused a delivery delay, but it was sorted out personally and arrived in time. Great ponies and accessories that our daughter absolutely loves.

Total rip off.

Ordered a 'cardboard stable ' cos my granddaughter wanted one.
All i got was a book of pictures .
apparently, you find your own cardboard, make your own stable then cut the pictures out the book and 'glue' (not supplied ) them onto it.
The words i have to describe this outfit are not permitted to be printed. cost me nearly £8.00

In a nutshell... Shocking.

I stumbled across these through a FB advert last year and sincerely wish I hadn't! I thought how much I'd have loved these as a child and decided they were to be my two daughters' main Christmas present. Customer service here isn't just poor, it's non existent. I emailed, rung and eventually FB messaged as wanted a very basic question answered before placing my order. After no response I informed them it was to be a large order (£300) but this still didn't encourage a response. I eventually ordered anyway as didn't want to miss the Christmas delivery cutoff. I then had a very stressful wait for the package which didn't arrive until last minute. Again, no response to emails. I was polite the entire way through. I thought perhaps a personal apology or thank you note might have been included but there was nothing. I had considered writing a negative review then but held off. Unfortunately for me, my daughter wanted another for her birthday on October 28th this year. Based on previous experience I ordered a month and a half before to give them plenty of time! I ordered on the 16th of September (pre lockdown). It is now the 12th November and they have not even dispatched it. Stolen my money and have no intention of sending it. Worse still they lie about it. Blaming Royal Mail. Covid. Etc. They click the despatched to Royal Mail button the day of or the day after you ordered, leading you to believe Royal Mail is at fault. But truth is they haven't even sent it. Postage is stated on website as 48hour Royal Mail tracked. What good is that when they send it via that method weeks or months later (or in my case never). They will tell you they will resend the item as if it has been lost. Constant excuses that customers are obviously buying due to the strange lack of negative reviews. I appreciate they are a small business but communication is key and perhaps rather than relying on a young lad to send these things they should employ someone properly. I assume they aren't fussed about business or they'd answer emails. Is it not easier to just post the item rather than ignore a tonne of emails and then have to make up excuses and lie? Or just be honest? A lot of business must come through horse shows, where there is no shipping involved. However, the biggest orders will be online and these customers should be looked after. I have spent over £400 on Crafty Ponies. I work in retail and nobody likes a moaning customer and I have never ever written a negative review for anything but people need warning.
I have spoken to other customers over the year and I am not alone!
Equally frustrating is that they have time to pose the ponies and make scenes and post on FB, Christmas stories etc but they cannot be bothered to reply to anyone or post out the product they are advertising.

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 states that delivery MUST be made without undue delay and within 30 days.

This company should not be trading. I have reported to trading standards and will be going through PayPal for a refund. Needless to say my daughter's birthday has been and gone and luckily I knew it wouldn't arrive so ordered her something else, which arrived within 2 days funnily enough, therefore I do not want the ordered shipped now.

Crafty Ponies will NOT ship your item out until you have badgered them and even then you'd be lucky. It is NOT up the customer to chase you for their items. Again, would it not be less hassle to just post the item?!

You have be warned. Look elsewhere.
Simply appalling.
