Still ongoing but absolutely no communication, support or help. It’s only a small amount I want to withdraw and close and will probably cost me more in phone calls. No issues with my other 2 pension providers, this company is terrible…DO NOT USE!!!!
Stress making experience
Slow transfers, lost funds, zero customer service, total lack of support. Only consider if you love stress!
Lump sum in transit for 3 months now
I’m trying to cash my pension out, since November last year. Now, since I forward all the documents they don’t even reply to my emails.
I checked on my pension and already say it has been paid out SO… where is MY MONEY !!!!!!
Very bad costumer’s service
AVOID THIS COMPANY
AVOID THIS COMPANY! I have an auto-enrolled pension with Creative Pensions and 3 other policies with another provider. Together they were to buy an annuity and this required all funds to be transferred. The other policies were transferred promptly and without problem. Months later, I am still waiting for the Creative funds to be transferred and I am loosing money as a result. My new annuity can't take effect without the Creative money.
Definitely would not recommend.
From the start this company has been awful. There will be no upfront fees suddenly turned into a large charge. Every time I finally found someone to answer any questions they would leave. Customer service is non- existent. Their upload portal asks me to set a new account up virtually every month and finally this month I can't even log in. Just a lot of stress for zero service.
The customer service is the worst
The customer service is the worst I have ever come across. Telling you one thing one day and then something completely different the next. It is a huge struggle to get your pension transferred from these guys. It takes months and that is chasing every week only to find that nothing has been triggered even. Very stressful experience and they just don't care. If you are thinking of investing with them think again- they must be avoided. Very difficult to work with.
Completely useless
Completely useless, their customer service is non existent. I have been chasing them for months on my pension transfers. I will be moving my pension as soon as my employer changes provider.
Try Getting Your Funds Transferred - No Chance
I have been requesting a funds transfer for months. This company is a disgrace. Having chased up, I answered due diligence questions almost a month ago. With no subsequent communication I chased again and am informed my funds are in a request to deinvest (really) - this takes up to 15 days. Doubt I'll see any money this side of 2025. But then again - it's only MY MONEY so who am I to ask to have it back.

Sadly this company didn’t want to give me my money back and spent months avoiding me, but one of their trustees (who are listed on their website) was enormously helpful and made sure I was refunded immediately. Any problems I recommend you email Roger Mattingly who’s also on Linked In
- many thanks Roger.
Worst customer support ever
I have on several occasions needed to contact customer support due to various issues. Even with an extremely simple query you are very lucky to receive any response at all, and if you do it will take months and months and months.
Profiting off of holding onto your funds
If I could give 0 stars, I would. This is truly the worst pension provider I have ever come into contact with. 9 months on and still waiting for my funds to be transferred. They will run rings around you and give you different variations of the same transfer request email address stating that the ones you've previously been given (by their customer service reps) and have sent your exit packets to "aren't monitored" or in use. Long story short, they profit off of holding on your money & will do anything to prolong the process of releasing or transferring any funds. Unorganised, untrained service reps and seriously disreputable organisation overall from my experience.
Awful company and service
Awful company and service. Our transfer from instruction is taking over 5 months. My funds were only disinvested over 6 weeks ago. I have still not received this money. I have lost projected earnings which I am sure they profit off all the time while holding onto their customers money. Please do not use this company and save yourself endless hassle.
Poorly Organised, Avoid
I recently moved away from Creative Pension Trust due to their poor reviews, and it’s been a hassle. In the last month, I've had to transfer five pensions—four are complete, but the one with Creative is still stuck. On top of that, I’ve had to complete a due diligence questionnaire (I had to call in to even get this far) just to move my own funds, despite switching to a leading global pension provider. It's been quite frustrating and I'm no way near over the line yet.

Took fist 25% from my pension pot which clear says it would not be taxed but they did. I am contacting Tax office to investigate as well as tak8ng the rest of my pension

After several months I finally got my pension transfered. I thought at first the were scamming me but have now decided its just a terribly run company.
If you have pension with them dont give up. You are going to have to fight to get any of it though.
Report to ombudsman
Based on the way they operate, I would actually consider them to be in serious breach of consumer rights regulations. If you are experiencing issues, incompetence or deliberate stalls like I have with transferring your money away from the scheme, please file a complaint with the pensions ombudsman. Creative Pension Trust needs to be audited by an external regulator and the only way that will happen is if you complain using the right external channels.
Awful experience
Awful experience, tried to transfer out funds from a Creative workplace pension to another pre-existing pension after my employer pulled out of contributions to this provider (due to big issues in people of pension age not being able to withdraw their pension for months 6months + in 3 cases). It takes weeks for a response by email and impossible to get sense by phone, emails ask me to fill out forms which have already been completed months ago - feels like they stall at every opportunity to hold on to peoples money, don’t trust them and I would avoid at all costs!!
Poor company pension provider
Requested a transfer out of this company last year. It took them three months to do so. In the meantime my funds lost value of around £600. It has now been six months after issuing a complaint to try and retrieve the shortfall. A very disappointing company to deal with. I would advise against setting up a company pension with this company. I don’t understand where the regulators are in all this? Surely they too must be inundated with complaints about Creative pension trust.
Useless company NO INFORMATION
Useless company no information available from them through email or when calling them direct. Just a generic robot repeating a script sheet and emails I was told by a customer services representative called Adam these are also just a generic response. Utter useless for getting any information from them.

Really making it difficult for my parents to access their pension pot. A cynic may say that they are hoping that if they make it difficult enough then they won't bother.
