The webinar was informative
The webinar was informative, and the speakers provided good information about the status of the industry. I hope that the new leaders are better at reviewing potential projects. After investing in almost 30 different projects with CrowdStreet, I don’t have one that has exceeded expectations.

I lost 100% of my investment in one…
I lost 100% of my investment in one deal and am on the verge of losing my equity in two other deals. It feels like they were more concerned with generating income for their platform fees as opposed to bringing in sustainable deals. I know interest rates impacted these deals, but on each sales call, the rise of interest rates was discussed.

Will never invest on this platform again
While I had one investment with a fund go well, another for a development project looks like I may loose all of my capital. Crowdstreet has done nothing, not even any communications, while this project has been going south. I question their original vetting of both the sponsor and the offering, and any proactive post-investment communications with all of the challenges have been non-existent. (I do take responsibility of taking the risk in doing a private deal and not doing more due diligence outside of the platform.) I will NOT invest on this platform ever again and would warn others to be very careful. The platform/company is involved in at least a couple of significant lawsuits, so would check those out before you move ahead with them.

Investors beware. Have lost 100% of principal on one deal…
Have lost 100% of principal on one deal and the other development deal is now in litigation...
Do not invest through CrowdStreet there are not proper safeguards in place to vet deals.
Hundreds of thousands of dollars lost.

Don't do it!!!
Don't do it!!!
Over 3 years I have invested in 10 different offers presented by CrowdStreet. All of them value add being the most conservative and all having cash flow to support a return on the investment from day 1. Of the ten, 2 have gone bust, the other 8 have not lived up to the initial offering.
Not worth the risk. I will be lucky to get most of my investment back.

We Lost All money…
We invest 25k and lost All money because the project went to bankruptcy. If you invest than it’s your risk there is no guaranty of your money
Best luck if you invest

On-boarding was very difficult
This was my first experience with CrowdStreet, and the on-boarding did not go smoothly. They'd email me a doc, I'd sign it, and I'd get a reply that they'd take one to two days to approve it, and get to the next step. The investment deadline was approaching, and every step was taking one to two days. When I'd call the rep, the call would go straight to voicemail without return calls. Etc. Etc. Etc. Things finally got worked out, but it was more than a chore to get through the system , and what should have been a couple days was a couple weeks. I'll see how the process proceeds, but the on-boarding did not go smoothly. Hopefully now that everything is with the sponsor, things will go more smoothly.

My entrance to commerical real estate investment
Crowd funding was the easiest way for me to start investing in commercial real estate. I've been doing it now thru a really good commercial real estate market and a tough market. I find CrowdStreet to be genuinely looking out to help their clients be successful. Their website account portal is excellent in helping me keep track of my investments and information. Their support staff has always been quick to respond and helpful in addressing what I have needed.

I appreciate the way Crowdstreet works but I have yet too see any of my investments come to fruition. I will be happier still when my investments come back to me with a profit like they were projected.

CrowdStreet Networking event
Ability to network with fellow investors as well as gain insight into Crowdstreets thoughts on the economy with the incoming administration.
Having Knightvest Capital attend and speak was also a nice touch. I would highly recommend continuing to bring in sponsors to future meetings.

i appreciate meeting the Crowdstreet Team
i appreciate meeting the Crowdstreet officers, employees, and sponsor ( Knightsvest). Each of them took time to share company insights, market forecasts, and even personal information. All of this resulted in a good experience and makes me feel i made the right choice choosing Crowdstreet.

Does Crowdstreet have a clear vision?
I originally connected with Crowdstreet as a way to participate in Real Estate investments. I have largely held off investing because the early funds have not turned out to be managed as they were advertised, and as Crowdstreet grew rapidly, I became uneasy with the vetting process which Crowdsteet said was very tough and thorough. I think the pressure to bring deals to the table proved in numerous cases that this wasn't the case. I didn't really hear a "repentance" type of acknowledgement of this, especially while I am living with the consequences of these issues. What I heard is that Crowdstreet now has a rigorous vetting process. Well that is what I heard 5 years ago too. Also, I don't know that I fully understand or agree with Crowdstreet broadening out into other areas such as private debt, etc. There are plenty of full service investment advisory companies already. It appears that Crowdstreet now wants to become one too. It seems to me that Crowdstreet is wandering away from its original vision.
