So annoyed. Two coats of Matt emulsion and it still hasn't covered the previous (very similar) colour. Not only that, the are drips everywhere I look. I've used crown emulsion many times before with no problems, but this one is terrible. Now going to have to find a similar colour in another brand to cover up this mess. And waste more time and money decorating. Very disappointed

I really don't even want to give it a star. This paint is disgusting never in my life have I seen a matt paint that doesn't cover paper. I'm now on my third coat and it's still patchy. Even the texture is not like matt paint. All my life I've been decorating my own home and my daughters and never had this problem untill I bought Crown. Now I have to spend more money on getting a decent paint to cover these patchwork wall.

Purchased a lot of Crown covermatt obliterating emulsion. My god, it's awful. The preparation was very good, and up to standard. After four coats it's patchy, and, looks terrible in each room. Never again would I use this paint. Cost me an absolute fortune. No answer from Crown.

First time using Crown paint, I bought a nice light grey matt emulsion to paint my bedroom walls and it was reasonably priced. I ended up with almost as much paint on the floor as on the walls, it was so thin it would make water look like treacle. Also once it dried it needed a second coat. Never again, complete waste of money.

I painted my kitchen in their Sugar Bowl (grey) shade and it looks superb. Crown is one of my two favourite paint brands.
I painted my hallway in a flat matt from their Period Collection and it still looks in prime condition several years later. I was upset when the range was discontinued.

Do NOT buy!! Worst paint ever. Got the trade opal base paint and it was very thick to use. Took me 5 hours and 1 litre of tin just to paint the downstairs loo which is a small room! The finishing is poor. Will be buying Leyland paint to finish off as second coat. What a waste of time and money!

Don't waste your time and money like I did please, this paint it's the worst paint I've use in my life, completely rubbish, very poor coverage, 10 litres of paint and after 3 coats, it wasn't even closed to cover a small bedroom, so I've wasted my time big and my money as well, should have chose Dulux or anyother brand instead, I will never come closer to one of those in l my life again, even if it's free and I'm paid to use it. 😡🙈👎👎👎😡😡😡

Very happy with the outcome of Crown's "Crafted" paint in our living room. Would recommend.

I used the ceiling paint professional series, Not professional at all. I think it is the worst paint I have ever worked with. Coverage is not even and it peels off. Definitely do not use it you want to use masking tape on top of the paint. Painting the room supposed to be an easy task, but the paint added lot of additional work on top. I am not happy with the paint at all. Waste of money and more importantly time. Sorry Crown. The other products were much better.

Used Crown Heritage Paint in Twine to cover a wall previously painted with Craig and Rose in mid-blue. Totally hopeless at covering the old colour. Paint is far too watery. I've done all the decorating at home over the past 30 years and never come across paint this hopeless. A waste of time and money.

I purchased a 10 litre tub of white emulsion paint from Wicks diy only to find out that Crown paints and Wicks say that this is a cheap low quality paint and that it would take 3 or 4 coats of paint to properly paint a wall and that if I want proper colour and coverage I should buy a quality paint
So I did I bought a tin of Dulux
Rubbish paint coat after coat an still patches also try with a brush still the same pob as use fallow an ball
Will never use crown Rubbish again

OK paint, but the plastic can they use is VERY weak. As I picked it up, the handle slipped from my grip, dropping 8" maximum onto the patio. The base cracked and detached from the can and all 5L of paint was dumped onto the flagstones. It took an hour and a half with a pressure washer and broom to clean up the resulting mess. This would never have happened with a traditional metal can!! Additionally, these plastic containers are not likely to get recycled, so they will end up in landfill or the ocean somewhere. I won't be buying any more Crown paint in cheap plastic containers in future. Shame really, as the paint was pretty good....

Bought "Mellow Sage / Silk" for a project. Worst paint I have ever used. Having to apply coat after coat but still patchy. Uneven coverage. Even tried sanding and sealing a 3rd coat before applying a 4th and 5th. Still an awful finish.
In 40 years of painting, I have never experienced such a terrible product. This should be removed from the consumer market.

White Matt emulsion, DO NOT BUY!!!!
3 x 5ltr tubs on 3 wall and a ceiling and still patchy, I purchased 3 tubs to paint my living room and dining room but used it all on the living room, off to buy Dulux tomorrow.
Lesson learned, buy cheap pay twice
