This is my second charger - seems to be top unit on the market these days.

Easy to find which charger worked best for my 2 cars and then package the components I needed to make the battery hookup easy. I had used one for years on my Porsche and it was so easy and convenient and my battery lasted more than 10 years because it was always kept charged.

Well first I own several chargers from Ctek and I love all of them they perform great. I switched from another company because I would go to start something that was sitting and connected to one of their chargers and the battery would be dead and yet every time I would check the charger indicator light it was green. So back to Ctek I was stupid I forgot to unplug one of my chargers and I started pulling away and It pull the connector apart so the unit was dead in the water. I always in the past remembered to unplug it so what happened? A senior moment I guess. So I contacted customer support and left a message and shortly afterwards they contacted me back. I truly wasn't expecting a response back that fast. The customer service representative asked me some questions and for me to send some pictures and to my surprise they were sending me a unit that is supposedly refurbished and I'm thrilled with that. I'll be back up and running soon. I already have a shipping delivery date. All I can say is Awesome and I definitely without any doubts recommend Ctek you won't be sorry.
I'll be placing a reminder flag on my steering wheel next time I plug in my replacement unit

CTEK manufactures products like battery chargers for vehicle manufacturers. Then, apparently, those chargers are NOT compatible with other CTEK made products like extension cords or various cables.

Support was very helpful in telling me I was out of luck. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware of this incompatibility of products made by the SAME company. I had my Mercedes dealer install the MB / CTEK charger. And it's not, apparently, compatible with any CTEK products.

I did learn it's better not to use an extension cord from the battery side and use one on the AC side only. This info I did not get from support, but I found out myself through google. So, in a sense, support wasn't very helpful.

My MUS 4.3 was past warranty & I had a failure in the quick connect. THE CTEK rep confirmed that the unit itself was OK & the issue was the connector.
He sent me a new cord at N/C.
While I waited for the part to arrive to repair my MUS 4.3, I purchased a new MXS 5.0. I will use both on different cars.

Been using on my Porsche during winter for years no issues. Customer service is excellent. Highly suggest.

I really love the product, it reconditioned my battery that died the 2nd time because of a bad alternator. Took it couple days of course, but it did the job!

I purchased my first CTEK charger in 2008. I still have it and it still works fine, I’ve had three more since and still have all of them, two years ago I wanted a battery management system for my off grid camper and purchased a three part system consisting of a D250SE and a smartpass 120S combined with a MXS 25 pro lithium charger, the system controls three 100w solar panels and a Fogstar 460ah lithium battery, the system has worked faultlessly for two years, I followed one of CTEK’s installation videos for guidance and no problems at all, a first class manufacturer offering advice when needed.

My representative Leo was brilliant and his guidance helped me purchase the MXS 5.0 POWER KIT NA as my older charger as failing. I have always used CTEK and extremely satified with the quality and performance of their products.

They shipped me the wrong item. In addition there was no paperwork in the box, nor was any emailed to me.
Addition:
CTEK responded promptly and agreed to ship me the correct item. I am impressed by the responsiveness and good business practices.

Fast and honest, they gave me a refund on my shipping because they are so close to me.

On 26/01/2026 I contacted CTEK that the MSX 5:0 Battery charger was not behaving correctly which I purchased on 25/05/2015 so it was well out of warranty, they asked me to send the charger to them including the case number they had sent me so they could check it out, on the 29/01/2026 CTEK as a goodwill gesture agreed to replace the charger free of charge and it arrived on the 06/02/2026, that’s the way to look after customers and I recommend CTEK in their on nonsense approach to their customers.

after using the CTEK 4.3 for over 12 years on 2 different ones almost daily on cars stored and driven they worked great. when they both stopped working because of damage from electrical outlet failure. I contacted CTEK for help. I then decided to relace both units with the 5.0 model knowing they will probably work for another 12 years. I order them and got them the next day. This day in age how can you beat that service and understanding. Hats off to CTEK staff.

nxt 5 na poor written instructions, However the USA customer service rep was VERY VERY HELPFUL in explaining the nuances of this charger, which makes me think that this will be my favorite maintainer /charger. I have quite a few too many cars, and have tried several OTHER brands which seem LESS safe and less sophisticated than this one. Highly recommended
