They took extra money from me and said within 5 days they will send my item lisbon to ponta dilgada now already 15 days i dont have any update about my parsal . They tell me to wait only too much disappointed .If you dont able to send parsal on time please dont mention express shipping and stop take extra money from customers this is theft policy very bad if you give correct information i never ever send parsal with ctt this is the last time and i will recomand all pepole to think 10times before you send parsal with ctt .

My experience was appalling. I sent 2 boxes from Lisbon to Madrid. After 3 weeks one box arrived in Madrid. The 2nd box I requested tracking. After a week it did arrive in Madrid which was after I had left the country. The Madrid hotel arranged to have this box forwarded to Australia which cost me over 222 Euros (the boxed items were of sentimental value). This box has arrived today… clearly flattened and with a number of items missing.
My advice… avoid using this freight forwarder. Expensive and absolutely no care!
I have experienced multiple problems…
I have experienced multiple problems with CTT. To list a few:
1. Some drivers will deliver to my door but many do not. The inconsistency is infuriating.
2. When post is not delivered, it goes to a local CTT post office. The opening hours are limited and the office is invariably busy; it sometimes takes an hour to be served.
3. I switched to using a Locky to avoid the above problems. Sometimes this works but about 40% of the time something goes wrong. One parcel ended up at a post office but I was not informed which one. Next, CTT changed the address of my Locky which led to 2 packages never being delivered, despite the App reporting that they had been delivered; the packages were returned to sender. My first Locky reported 24/7 availability but was in fact located inside the local CTT office which has very limited opening hours.
4. I purchased a postage stamp on-line via the App. I paid but never received the stamp. It took CTT weeks to reimburse me after I went through their laborious, time-consuming complaints procedure.
THIEVES
I'm waiting on an important parcel but because it was Thursday and 30 minutes before closing time, some random employee decided to invalidate my home address, now I'm stuck waiting on an order that will never come because of neglect and human incompetence.
Imagine this was insulin and I needed it to stay alive, you guys are worse than a mafia ring, manipulating information in order to get what you want, stating my home address is fake when I have proof and many parcels came through before without any problem.
And then of course because this is Portugal the carriers do the work on the weekends either, so I'll be spending a week going back and forth with idiots to get something I already paid for.
I hope your company goes under and fall under a police investigation, clearly you need help, you are out of control
No proper support
My package arrived on 17, i was at office, they said they’ll leave nearby CTT store but they keep on sending email saying abnormal delivery missing address info. When we call support they said they’ll be sending package to the CTT office, 3 days has passed no package yet. If I call them they say nothing can be done since it has altered been reported. I think they lost my package but mot admitting it. The service is ridiculous

The wrost service my brother send parcel frist i dont get any coustom msg 3/4 days after reaching parcel in pourtgal after i call helpline i get and then website is wrost not work nobody help you in there helpline after i arrange a computer and the assitent of ctt was at call as she said we do exact i tell him. Everydetail so we do excact after one week i get msg my costom is rejected after 16 days of sending parcel and 5 days of submiting process its very slow my things are inside are now is just to through at dustbin becouse 20 days its rotten and when i was checking i got another mail they are sending my parcel back after lot of money and efforts and time you even get a sorry it was wrost horrible experince it was same coustoms in dhl they help you with everything so fast and there they even talk to you politely dont use this for international parcels

Wonderful postmen. So fed up with always having to knock at my door to deliver mail, our lovely Marvao postie brought his drill and put up my new postbox for me.

The website is all in Portugese, the gentleman online is inpatient, the process is a mess, nothing is intuitive ai you need to write only one word in the forms and small letters! else the system just does not take in information! How would you know that? The process is messy and murky! The instructions are unclear. Avoid sending anything to Portugal! its a nightmare! Takes 2.5 weeks to send a tiny parcel!

The service is timely and the drivers friendly. It is a reliable service. The workers in the CTT offices can be a bit less than friendly but that is true for most Portuguese government offices. The Portuguese have ALWAYS been kind and considerate to us but the government folks NEVER smile and can be abrupt. I wish I knew why.

0 rating. This company never deliver. They say nobody was home but we at home all day. The next day they say they will redeliver nut the excuse is they could not get to the house. Other delivery vans do, tractors and lorries drive by and even cement mixers...but not a ctt van! I think the drivers just hide all day and never deliver anything. A very very poorly run company. Management need to put gps tracking on their vans to monitor what their drivers do all day.

Parcel was failed to be delivered but maybe because I was staying at an apartment. Not sure how apartment deliveries work. Good correspondence over Whatsapp to rectify the issue.

Offices always crowded, if you miss your package— which is almost always-/ guven their reluctance to ring bells— in the pick up offfice, you need to wait about an hour.

Delivery windows are always wrong
I wake up to a text message saying they will deliver between 1415 and 1730. So I go out to do things, but then get a phone call at 1315 asking where I am. Then the package is not delivered. This happens again and again and again. Obviously they hired a fancy consultant from an organized country to develop this system and then couldn't possibly implement it correctly.

What is the point of having a website that tells you the post office is open and when you get there a hand written notice informs you that it is shut because of a holiday? How hard is it to put it on the website?

When you call the customer service they talk in a very rude way and they’re not welling to help with anything and avoids taking any responsibility.
I could swear that mail services 200 years ago was more efficient and useful.
