We had a cottage in Cumbria booked from 1st june for a week,paid a deposit,but because of the corona virus obviously rung to cancel,Cumbria cottages will NOT refund my deposit,what a disgraceful company,we are following Cumbria police advice to not travel to Cumbria during the emergency !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stay away if you're advertising a holiday cottage
As an owner of a popular cottage and advertising through Cumbrian Cottages, I could not have had a worse experience. They are so incompetent; they promise everything, but fail to deliver. The only bookings I've had from them are drastically discounted, despite us telling them multiple times we will not accept less than the agreed rates.
