Our trip was everything we expect and more .Beautiful ship lovely staff .Great food and service .
Excellent medical treatment on Queen Victoria
We were on Queen Victoria on a Southampton round trip on Europe. I developed shortness of breath and had to call the Medical Centre. I went down to them and within minutes I was put on oxygen and my signs were being monitored. I was given an X-Ray which showed fluid surrounding the lungs. I was put on two antibiotics all within the hour. The ship's doctor decided to drain the fluid which was done. I spent the next few days before arriving back in Southampton either back in my cabin or my own room in the Centre. All of the staff were very professional, competent and friendly; I couldn't have asked for more. Even after arriving back in the UK I was called by Cunard's short team to check all was OK.
The food is great
The food is great, the ship is very nice and the crew is fantastic

My second time with Cunard and it wowed me as much as the first time. This time I did ten nights, my first was seven nights.
The staff are wonderful, every member of staff makes you feel special without it being stuffy and too posh. The gala nights are a chance to dress up to the nines if you want to, but there is no pressure to join in. The food is fabulous in all areas and you could easily put on a stone if you were not careful. So relaxing and will definitely be sailing with them again, but next time it will probably be for three weeks.
Cunards passengers the best
We have been on many ships with different lines the thing that made this holiday special were the other guests on board we spoke and dined with many people and they were all charming and interesting company

Had the best time on the Queen Mary 2
Had the best time on the Queen Mary 2, fantastic ship, entertainment and staff were all 5 star.

Just returned for our 45 nights on board the Queen Anne. The staff are outstanding nothing was too much trouble for them. Dennis our Cabin Steward made sure our room was clean and we had fresh towels everyday!
Our room was superb! This is the first time we have had a balcony and what a surprise it was. Not only did we have a great room but, the balcony was the icing on the cake. It was huge with sunbeds as well as chairs. An ideal place to watch the Panama Canal what an experience and Ideal for the that pre-drinks before dinner. The food was excellent. My only negative was they have modernised the ship to encourage younger clients but, mostly, the passengers on board were our age (70+) so, no recorded music which was a shame. The band did their best but, couldn’t dance to them. Two duo groups, Flav and Mary, excellent and Duo Panache who were good. We mainly danced when we were in port on our own, thank goodness we took our own music! Never would I go into Miami again! The boarder control only sent 4 officers which meant we didn’t get off until midday, four hours late! It marred the whole day as we didn’t have time to do anything! But, apart from those problems I can say, overall, I can say that Cunards Staff in every area, were excellent and the ship was kept extremely clean and tidy. Go to Bright Lights’ a group of actors and singers which will blow your mind, loved it.

Recently returned on Queen Anne from Sydney. Mostly 10/10 experience. Food very much improved on this particular cruise.
My first time on Queen Ann
My first time on Queen Ann. Although she is quite different than the other Queens, it proved to be just as splendid.
First time on cunard
First time on cunard. Usually celeb or princess. Let me get this down first Cunard can COOK some dishes were memorable. The soup chef could have come home with me. It's very very clean, its very very well appointed . Staff are all very good.overall its a comfy ship, flows well, easy living. Some classical stuff, which wasn't our cup of tea. But entertainment ok. Everyone of the staff were approachable.always a sun bed. Always a towel or blanket.always chilled water. No visible scuff marks or smeared glass, carpets stain free. Bathrobes not towelling, bath towel a bit short, whereas celebs are a wrap round job. Overall a good experience,no rough edges, details are finite. If they have a problem, its dealt with.would go with them again.
Second time on Queen Mary 2
Second time on Queen Mary 2. Such a treat to be on the world's only ocean liner. No sea sickness pills required. Loved the Transatlantic 2 years ago so tried the last leg of the world voyage from Cape Town to Southampton. Completely different experience based on the clientele but staff, food and service excellent as ever. So good to be able to still use a ship as a means of transport and it to be the finale to an independent land based holiday. Beats flying anytime.

Have just returned from a cruise on Queen Mary 2. We had a great time and felt well looked after by staff who were polite and helpful. There are parts of the ship that could do with a bit of updating, but the decor in most parts is elegant and stylish. Another bonus is that the ship is incredibly stable in even heavy seas - you forget that you are at sea as the ship just cuts through the waves with negligible pitch and roll.

The whole trip was epitomised by a waiter - Cyril - in the main dining room. He WAS Cunard : courteous, efficient, warm, nothing too much trouble. Entertainment generally excellent, quality of food superb, room ideal for the journey. Mixed feelings about shore experiences. Trip to see the workings of the kitchen, bridge etc a MUST to fully appreciate the effort that goes into making the voyage a success. On balance though, well done Cunard and well done Cyril!
Queen Victoria - amazing Ballroom Dancing!
We’ve just returned from a 2 week cruise on Queen Victoria. It was absolutely fantastic.
We enjoy the formal gala nights and dressing up for these. The ballroom dancing was excellent and want to give a special mention to Zhenia Dmytrenko and Mery Lenz who exceeded all expectations.
Their dance tuition and show dances were exceptional and they danced with guests every evening in the hosted dance sessions in the Queens Room, making our experience truly memorable.
Always excellent service
Always excellent service, wonderful staff and on beautiful unique ships. Would never cruise with anyone other than Cunard.
Brilliant theatre productions
We enjoyed a very good holiday on board the Queen Victoria. The staff and crew worked very hard and made us feel welcome and at home. We enjoyed the excellent food in the Verandah restaurant. All other evenings we dined in the Britannia restaurant (open dining) which was very enjoyable. Two very good sommeliers there, but all of the staff worked very hard and were attentive. Our favourite bar was The Chart room where Peter and his colleagues waited on us. We enjoyed some fun banter with them ( though they were always professional) and they helped make our holiday fun.
Our room (with balcony) was very comfortable and we slept well. Our cabin steward Jose was very helpful and extremely hardworking.
The singers and dancers on board were great and the production on our last night was worthy of the West End. They and the musicians were brilliant.
The good service we received on board made for a happy and relaxing holiday.
My recent cruise on Queen Victoria to…
My recent cruise on Queen Victoria to the Canary Islands (April 2026) was great, all the ports were easily accessible to either do your own thing or as excursions, we choose the 'Fire Mountain ' trip on Lanzarote, the guide was hilarious and it was one of the best excursions I've done on any cruise.
As we have come to expect with Cunard we had a lovely holiday and I look forward to my next cruise on Queen Mary 2 later on in the year and any future cruises with Cunard.
We are yet to have the pleasure of cruising on the Queen Elizabeth but love all the other Queens especially Queen Mary 2.
Yes, the older ships may be a little worn around the edges but what do you expect after completing thousands of miles at sea! The lovely Queens feel like a home from home.
I know cruising is not for everyone but if you love starting your holiday from arriving at the port terminal, yes it was about a 15 minutes transition from the car park to the lovely Queen Victoria! Relaxing, eating lovely food 24 hours a day! Visiting great destination in style, the occasional ships horn (more please!), the most lovely crew were nothing is too much trouble to sort..then cruising might be for you.
Disgraceful treatment of loyal customers
We sailed in December 2025 on Queen Anne from Southampton to the Canaries and back.
The ship sailed with defective stabilisers which made loud hydraulic grinding noises and bangs throughout. The rocking and rolling in calm seas was dreadful.
The Captain cut the cruise short by sailing back to Southampton early, missing the last port out completely.
No compensation was offered to the unfortunate passengers who paid for something better than a broken ship, budget food and dreary entertainment (if you like quizzes you'd be happy).
