Bought a lenovo legion 5. Motherboard died as result of low quality. To replace it Curry's staff charged me with 1600 pounds. Pay attention, it's more than the amount I bought it brand new. I refused to pay such an absurd amount and just threw it in the bin. All over the world customers are complaining about the quality of lenovo products last years, but the prices are still unrealistically high. I personally would not use these items even if they hand it up completely free.

Technology has changed so much and we needed advice on the purchase of a new tv. We went to Currys at Huddersfield so we could actually speak to someone knowledgeable. We were not disappointed, the advisor Nicholas was helpful and took time answering all the questions we had then left us to consider our decision.

1 star - Absolutely disgraceful. Driver lying. £1,000 wasted. No help whatsoever.
I am absolutely furious and disgusted with my experience purchasing a £1,000 MacBook M4 from Currys.
Let me be completely clear about what has happened.
I placed an order and DPD were assigned as the courier. On the first scheduled delivery day I stayed home specifically to receive my parcel. I did not leave the house. I sat by the door. The driver marked the delivery as attempted and failed. He did not knock. He did not ring. He did not leave a card. He simply lied and drove away.
Fine. I rearranged. I then took a day off work - annual leave I cannot get back - and missed a professional CPD training event that had been booked in advance, specifically to be home for the second delivery attempt. Once again I did not leave the house.
Once again the driver marked it as attempted and failed without knocking, without ringing, without any contact whatsoever.
This driver is lying. Deliberately and repeatedly falsely logging delivery attempts. This is fraudulent behaviour and Currys need to take it seriously.
I then attempted to resolve this through Currys customer service. There is no human to speak to. Just an AI assistant that is completely useless for a situation like this.
I am now stuck over an entire bank holiday weekend with no £1,000 laptop, no resolution, no compensation, no explanation and no way to speak to anyone who can actually help.
I have lost annual leave. I have missed a professional training event. I have spent hours on the phone to DPD's useless customer service. I have been completely let down at every single point of this experience.
For a £1,000 purchase this is beyond unacceptable. This is a complete failure of Currys' responsibility to their customers and their duty to hold courier partners accountable.
I expect an urgent response. I expect full compensation for lost annual leave and missed professional development. And I expect an investigation into this driver who is clearly and repeatedly falsely logging delivery attempts.
If this is not resolved to my satisfaction I will be escalating to Trading Standards and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 is very much on my side.
Absolutely disgusted. Zero stars if I could.

Misery compounded
Most surly delivery I’ve ever had , brought in new appliance was only in my home minutes he stated the isolator valve had seized so couldn’t fit new appliance left both appliances in kitchen said to ring when I had a plumber attend I squirted wd40 at valve and hey presto I fitted it myself still awaiting refund for fitting and taking away the old appliance .

Excellent service from start to finish.
A simple and easy online ordering procedure with delivery 2 days later. Delivery charge was expensive but was at a day and time of my choosing. The delivery was on time with a call 15 minutes prior. The team were very polite, efficient and helpful. The item, a double oven was unpacked and carried into the room of my choosing. Packing was taken away. Room of choice and unpacking etc are usually chargeable but these were part of the excellent service. Couldn’t fault the whole process.

Good advice in shop at the Norwich branch by Harry who was responsible for business purchases. No one else came over to assist despite looking at laptops for over 30 minutes. He also showed us other options we were unaware of.
