Response from Currys via email: I understand your concern about being passed between store colleagues and phone support. To clarify, in store teams and phone customer service do have different scopes of support. Some issues, particularly those linked to online orders, payments, or system based refunds, can only be handled by our central customer service teams, while stores are limited by the systems available to them on the shop floor. That said, this should have been explained to you more clearly to avoid the time and inconvenience you experienced.

I’m sorry that you felt colleagues weren’t able to provide the clarity or support you needed, and that this resulted in lost time and frustration. Your feedback has been noted and will be shared internally to help improve how we guide customers between store and customer service in the future.

This what I think:
This is a joke as they charged me £100 per agreement service and refund £30 after failing to provide agreed - Shame cannotadded files to show this injustice and fraud.

This response is just a joke and disrespect. Definitely not recommended for shopping with the service option.

Waste of time!

Waste of time!

Tried to get a number to check stock with the local shop with no luck.

Had to drive 40miles to the store to be told they had no stock, but could order online.

Drove 40miles home to order online to find out that:

1- Yhey will not deliver to my address??? no explanation as to why - specially when I have had items delivered before!
2- The store has stock and that it could be collected in 1hr when just 60min earlier I was at the store and was told there was no stock!

this company really does not know the meaning of customer service!

Update: have now been in a que on the phone to find out what is going on for over 30min, still no answer.

Tried the online chat and that is just as bad and gave up with that!

Coventry Store

Coventry- I ordered online for delivery in store. I ordered a PC Screen and it is excellent quality and on offer, so great value. I am very happy with my purchase.
The staff were helpful and friendly.

Poor customer service.

I ordered an expensive (to me) laptop on line from Currys Swindon 29 /04/2026. I was notified that it was ready for collection. Arrived at the collection point where there was a notice to ring for attention. I pressed the switch several times with no response. Only after too long a time an assistant happened to pass by and asked if I was being seen to. He helpfully went to collect my laptop. During this time several assistants were in the showroom not attending to customers. This is not the first time I have had this type of experience in the Swindon branch having to wait for some time for attention. I suggest that part of your training program would be to ensure that if any customer appears to be waiting for attention then your assistants at least speak to the customer and assure them that they will be seen to shortly.

Went to buy some earbuds made for…

Went to buy some earbuds made for wearing in bed at night (ANKER Soundcore Sleep A20 Earbuds), which Curry's advertise. First salesman new nothing about the product but pretended he did, and so I asked for someone who had some expertise in this area. He came back with someone else who literally said to me "Oh no, they don't make anything like that as it would damage your ears (which is rubbish, they are flat buds). What I hate about the experience is that he just made it up. If you don't know, then say so, don't just give opinion as fact.
