I spoke with their customer service before buying, and they recommended these polycarbonate sheets for my cupboard doors because they are lighter than glass. However, no one warned me about how incredibly delicate the surface is.

The company claims you should only clean them with soap, water, and a microfiber cloth. I followed those exact instructions, and the mirrors scratched instantly. There is simply no way to clean these without ruining the surface.

To make matters worse, my original order arrived with damaged corners and scratches, and while they eventually replaced them, the replacements are just as poor in quality. The company takes no responsibility for the fact that their "cleaning instructions" actually damage the product. Avoid these completely unless you never plan on touching or cleaning them.

Exceptional customer service. Our carefully-packed item arrived damaged due to rough handling by the courier. I contacted Cut Plastic Sheeting who responded immediately and had a replacement sent out; it arrived a few days later in perfect condition. Friendly and helpful communication throughout.

I was contacted the following day with a query on the cutout sizes, which I clarified.

I placed my order 30 October and given an estimated delivery date of 6-7 November.

The delivery was shipped and received as promised. What was concerning was that the courier was DX freight as I had previously ordered a very similar product from a competitor company and the acrylic sheeting was delivered damaged...twice!

I was relieved to receive my delivery intact because they obviously realise the fragility of the product and made a huge effort to pack it in such a way so that the chance of damage was low. Sensibly putting a wooden frame around the sheets for ultimate protection....Great!

My acrylic panels were easy to fit as they were perfectly cut to my required sizes, and they have uplifted my kitchen to a new level!

I recently ordered a kitchen splashback and hob cover from this company.
Both were cut to size.
I was delighted with both products but on closer inspection, one of the corners of trim on the hob cover was not stuck together properly.
I contacted the company to explain I was disappointed and for advice on which adhesive I needed to use.
I was delighted to be informed my hob cover would be replaced!
It arrived promptly and is perfect.

I wanted to replace the very thin poly carbonate windows in the shed. This company seemed to deliver on costs and extras and they did. Excellent product and great care taken with the packaging!!!

I'm not entirely sure what other reviewers on here are reviewing, maybe low expectations, but my first, & last experience of this shop/site has been a waste of money!!! If you expect their "standard" MDF to be even close to the quality of your average big DIY store, think again! This has a very, very thin, harder outer layer. Internally, it's like trying to cut a duvet because it's just as fluffy!!! In fact, a 6mm end mill on a CNC router was literally silent as it cut!!! Only near the thin harder edge did it actually make a sound. None of this would matter if it was cheap for cheap, it's nearly twice the price of a DIY store & a third of the quality.

I ordered seven cut-to-size clear polycarbonate sheets on 13 August. They arrived on 20 August and comprised three clear sheets and four frosted sheets. I only discovered that there were frosted sheets in the delivery when I peeled the protective plastic covering off the first sheet I fitted. I telephoned and spoke to Jack who asked me to email photographs of the frosted sheets. I did this immediately and listed the sizes that needed replacements. A couple of hours later I realised that one of the sizes I had provided was incorrect so I sent a follow-up email. I also mentioned that I needed a further two sheets (I broke two glass panels removing one of the frosted sheets from the greenhouse ) and inquired as to whether those could be added to the order (and charged against my existing credit card details) or whether I would have to use the online ordering system. Either way I hoped that they could be included in the delivery with the replacement sheets to save further delay. I received no response to either email. The following day I sent a follow-up email to ask for confirmation of the receipt of my previous emails. I received an ‘out of office’ response. On 26 August I received notification from DPD that an order had been dispatched. Several hours later, I received a copy of a dispatch note with no accompanying email. I sent a further email to Jack in relation to the two extra sheets that I had enquired about in my second email, as they were not included in the order. I found that if I ordered them through the online ordering system it would cost me over £75 for two small sheets because of a small order surcharge and a £15 charge for the quickest available delivery. Again I received no response. So, I have sent four emails and received no response to any of them. This is far from the five star service the company claims and it displays in its published reviews. Interesting that I posted a one star review on their website which I notice hasn’t been published. Perhaps they only publish the five star ones.

Ordered two lots of polycarbonate sheet. Both were well packed, accurately cut and competitively priced. The free delivery was, however, rather slow.

Speedy service but after-sales and terms and conditions are very disappointing. Checked delivery within 24 hours as advised on website and all was good as protective cover was in place and no damage to edges. Kept protective film on during installation to avoid causing any damage. Once installed we removed protective film to find several deep scratches under the film. Due to strict Ts & Cs they only offered discount on an additional order (at £130 per sheet we need it was not feasible to reorder and pay again). Not sure how they expect customers to fully inspect under protective films within 24 hours of delivery or before installation so very unfair! Will not purchase from here again as not worth the risk of damage.

I needed a clear rectangular cover for my gas fire pit. Found this company online - simply plug in the perspex thickness, width and length, radiused corners and any apertures (none in my case). Pricing is instantaneous, just click the payment button and all done! I wasn't in a hurry to get it so delivery was free and the product arrived about a week later. Packaging was very professionally done and the perspex makes a gorgeous cover for the glass windguard on my firepit. (I would add a photo if it was an option here). Really delighted with the entire purchasing experience!

I was very impressed with the service from Cut Plastic Sheeting. Polycarbonate sheets were cut exactly to size, very prompt dispatch, and very good packaging - all edges and corners were well protected but the package was not oversized. Highly rfecommended.
