Scheduled Flu Vaccination
I want to share my recent experience at your Muncie, Indiana, Tillotson Avenue location. Two weeks in advance, I scheduled an appointment for a flu vaccination. I arrived several minutes early, but after checking in, I waited at least 15 minutes before the pharmacist spoke with me. She explained that the pharmacy was extremely busy and that I would either need to wait longer or reschedule.
I was surprised by this response, given that I had scheduled the appointment well in advance to avoid delays. Nevertheless, I decided to reschedule for the next day. That appointment was confirmed online, but shortly before I was set to leave for it, I received a text message saying CVS had to cancel.
This experience was frustrating and disappointing. I understand that pharmacies can be busy, but I had expected better coordination and communication, especially when appointments are made ahead of time. Unfortunately, this situation gave me the impression that customer service and reliability are not valued at CVS.
(CVS HILLSBOROUGH NJ HORROR SHOW)
(CVS HILLSBOROUGH NJ)
THIS PLACE IS A HORROR SHOW.
I called to find out why I could not refill my elderly father’s prescription online.
The Indian Pharmacy rep who barely speaks English, (Leena Nair) (Not sure about spelling), HUNG UP on me 4x in a row!!!
She kept telling me that I “need to call my doctor and get information that is new”. I told her I believed they just had to send a refill request to my prescriber, to which she would repeatedly tell me it’s “missing info”. When I asked what information this is, she would just keep repeating that it’s “information that is missing”, that I needed to call my Dr and then HUNG UP on me. Because she kept hanging up and not doing her job, I had to go down to the CVS. Of course, when I get there, another rep tells me all that’s needed is response from my prescriber, as I thought, and that no “new information” is needed. When I asked why I was being hung up on, the rep Leena refused to acknowledge or even look at me, tried HIDING her name tag & then lied and told CVS that she NEVER hung up on me, even though I have all the screenshots to prove it. It doesn’t stop there. I was then called by CVS and lied to while I was INSIDE THE STORE. They told me that she just left and went home for the day, while I was staring at her at her work station.
What an absolute joke.
I have been going to CVS for almost 30 years and have NEVER witnessed such horrible customer service.
Hanging up on your customers trying to pick up their elderly father’s medication who is home suffering from Dementia & Anxiety is nothing short of shameful and she should be fired if she doesn’t want to do the job she is paid tremendously well to do.
CVS… if you hire someone as a pharmacy rep providing customer service and medication people need to function, make sure they can SPEAK ENGLISH AND WON’T HANG UP ON CUSTOMERS AND THEN LIE ABOUT IT.
Welcome to America in 2025.

Went to buy a bag of candy for Halloween. CVS wanted to charge me $30. What?? This is robbery!!!
Awful customer service
I don't think I've ever been so irate at a company's lack of customer service as I was today. I went to pick up three prescriptions shortly before 1:30 (they break for lunch at 1:30). I mentioned multiple times i had THREE different transactions for THREE different people/pet. The tech still asked for each person's information which I thought weird if you have to do them separately but I had already told her....She collects them then scans them all. I once again said, okay but it's supposed to be three different transactions and she was like yeah, it's fine. I said but one is for a dog....they can't use my insurance. "Oh it's okay, we can still do one transaction". I said no, I said three. One is for me and to be put on MY FSA, the other for my sister on HER FSA and another for my dog on a debit card. At this point another tech comes up and they say "oh, well we can't do that, we have to go to lunch, we go at 1:3" and it was, after this amount of time, 1:30). I said, I understand you need to go to lunch but I asked for three transactions, why can't you do that for me now? Then someone further behind pipes up and mumbles to which I said- what did you say? She looks at me briefly and starts walking away while saying "they have to go lunch and it would takes us 30 minutes to do that." I said, well I came before 1:30 and I repeatedly told her I need three transactions. She just ignored me and walked away as I asked for her name. Then when I asked the tech she seemed timid to do so but I'm not sure if the girl said she didn't care if I was told but the tech gave me the name. Then I just sit there waiting and the tech goes- Okay, well we'll be back in a few minutes and SHUT THE WINDOW AND BLINDS ON ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I immediately parked and went into the store and they all three came out for their lunch as I went to talk to a CVS associate. I was given the store manager, RX manager and corporate number but the associate seemed surprised when I mentioned this person who apparently is the PHARMACIST walked away. This pharmacy has had it's issues but never before have I been treated like this. I was REFUSED service simply because they had to go to lunch??? I was there BEFORE your lunch period and had the tech done as I told her over and over they could have left in time. I've contacted corporate but who knows if anything will be done. I didn't get the techs names but the pharmacist name is Taylor. This is the 1123 Kildaire Farms Rd, Cary, NC, 27511 location. No one deserves this treatment but especially the attitude coming from a PHARMACIST? If her employees so badly needed to go on lunch the least she could have done was come fix my problem herself. Corporate wouldn't even send me same day delivery for this outrageous encounter. I've moved my medicines to another group and will no longer be using CVS. I've never been refused service!
Anyone that could honestly give CVS…
Anyone that could honestly give CVS over one star has to be illiterate. They have the most obnoxious pharmacist on duty. They are abrasive, lie, and deceptive as can be. Often times we receive a text telling a prescription is ready. We drive fifteen miles to town and they have nothing ready. My time and fifteen mile trip for nothing. No apology, just blank arrogant looks from arrogant lead pharmacists. Go in for a flu shot. More arrogance, long waits, and demanding you make an appointment, even though walk ins welcome. Last time this happened I walked to the car, used my phone to make an appointment for twenty minutes. We back in and got the flu shot. Since then, my wife and I drive thirty miles west to Walgreens. No hassle and friendly service. CVS needs to bite the dust.
Apparently CVS has a theft problem
Apparently CVS has a theft problem. Which is why over half their products are locked inside glass cases. It is hard to read the print on a product through a glass case, unfortunate if you want to read the ingredients. And if you decide you want to buy you have to find an employee on the floor to open the case for you. Good luck with that. The cashier seemed bored and slightly depressed. I can't say I blame him
I love this store in Inverness Florida
I love this store in Inverness Florida. 602 W Main St. My favorite people are the in pharmacy. Dean and Liz welcome me with my name which makes me feel at home. Hands down Dean is the man.
Overpriced products and hands down the…
Overpriced products and hands down the worst service of any pharmacy anywhere. No wonder they're closing hundreds of stores across the US. Stopped using them for anything and everything.
Don't waste your time.
I've been to this location a few times…
I've been to this location a few times now, and they were always nice and very efficient with minimal wait time. I have absolutely not had any issues with this CVS in the past, either, although CVS isn't perfect, idk! After reading some of the reviews, I'm scared. But- then again, it's October, and all the weirdos come out. Lol
CVS uses fraudulent, bait and switch ads…
CVS uses fraudulent, bait and switch ads to lure people into getting vaccinations from them by promising $10. They don't honor their commitments for the second year. After waisting 40 minutes on the phone with its customer service, they told me it's illegal in my state. They should have not been sending out fraudlent emails and app offers especially without notice of it being invalid in my state. CVS defrauded countless people in many other states. We should form a class action lawsuit and report CVS to local, state, and federal agencies.
Picked up a script this morning
Picked up a script this morning. Person at the window,( Daniel), says where’s your barcode? I said I don’t have it. He proceeds to say, how do you know your prescription is ready then? I replied because I haven’t had my medicine for 2 days so I know it has to be here. Instead of harassing people to do their job for them, they need to stop being lazy and type a name and dob in! Turns out I’m having issues with my phone which is none of his business. Where’s the customer service?
Tried to cancel my Extra Care Account
Tried to cancel my Extra Care Account. NO value with Extra Care Had to call the overseas CSR 3 times. They were very unhelpful and put up every road block possible to stop me for canceling....but I was able to cancel. It is very unlikely that i will visit a CVS store anytime soon.
After reading some of the reviews from…
After reading some of the reviews from my local CVS Pharmacy, I was understandably, on guard going there. I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly, polite and customer service driven by the service I received. While in line, the cashier said, “I’ll be with you in a minute”, I’ve been back several times and have received the same quality service. I don’t know if the managers upgraded the staff since the negative reviews were received, or you get back what you expect, but I’m proud to say, well done CVS West End, I’ll be back again and again.
Never answer the phone AND 2 lines not 1!
First, you can never get them on the phone and they promise you that they’ll call you back in an hour but they don’t call you back in an hour. They don’t even call you back in the same day
After waiting 20 minutes to pick up my prescriptions which they’ve been texting me about every day threatening to put away. They actually did put one away and so now I get to wait in another line for 1020 minutes to put my order in again for a prescription that was filled weeks ago and they should HOLD onto it - because what the hell? As medical professionals, do you think I no longer need the prescription because I wasn’t able to pick it up quickly enough?! Really?! Is this your idea of how you run your healthcare portion of the business? I’d like to hear a justification for this.
Do you think I’m gonna recommend you to anybody else? That’s a hard no!
I went to the CVS store in Enola to…
I went to the CVS store in Enola to pick up a prescription they had. Upon arrival was told that there was a problem with the insurance. When I questioned it, the girl said to me, you will need to come back in an hour. We are closing in two minutes for lunch. I replied. Can we just look at that and see if we can figure out what the issue is. Her response was “ ma’am, we have to eat.” That’s the worst customer service I can ever remember having anywhere. I will be changing all my drugs to another facility. I would never have received that type of treatment at a Rite Aid.
Two stars for one of three scripts…
Two stars for one of three scripts delivered with only mild delalys reported because of a new account. This last is done it. My surgeon, last Friday, ordered two new antibiotics for my post op foot, still swollen and red. The pharmacy was asked at that afternoon to deliver as soon as possible. Saturday, I called to confirm to bill the delivery fee and indicated it would be delivered that day, but wasn't. Left message to call but it was not retutned. Sunday evening no medication delivered and no message, no text.
Moday I again called and got a live one, and was told after a long delay for her to review their history that USPS tried to deliver it but the house looked abaondoned. Not sure who was USPS but they do not deliver week ends, and don ot do same day service. My mailbox had no medications in it.
They said someone tried to call several time but there was no answer. I keep my phone with me as i live alone and never go anywhere. I have flood light on drive and three lights near the entry where my car is parked.
No text to report any delivery problems, no text they tried to call "several times with no answer".
Now four days after order without my new antibiotic medication. They said they refunded my money and would not be filing my script order. Wow that is some professional work. Walmart hires people to delivery my food and they are often not speaking English but they find my house and never had to return my food in over three years. Who did they hire Obviously no one is my best guess.
Tomorrow day five with new bacteria found at my surgical site, they cancel my order. I am unable to pick it up as I have a swollen foot I am told to stay off amd do not drive. Uber does not pick up scripts that cannot be paid for in advance.
They advertise they deliver and did once.
I aksed to talk to a pharmacist but the fresh little young voice told me she was the pharmacist.
I do not trust this pharmacy and can only speak towhomever answers the phone. The unlicensed people run the shop it appears. No professionals work there.
They do not fully understnad the weight of the responsibility they assume when they take on fillig prescriptions, not only birth control pills but for antiviotics for infection. When I ask for delivery they ask if two or three days is preferrable. Antibiotics need to be started on the day it is called in or the next day.
They advertise they deliver but the USPS does not deliver same day nor on Saturday and Sunday so that was a lie, USPS was reported as the deliverer who said it was an abandoned house, I have a locking mail box. There is no excuse for not deliverying it Saturday.
They are inept and not trustworty. They have put in charge unprofessional and insolent persons in their pharmacy department, and are an outrage with their sigh of 'do I need to talk to her again' attitude. I am a retired Registered Nurse and would give them an F if I was doing a investigation of their ability to function in a professional manner in filling and delivering prescriptions. I did investigations of health care delivery for 24 year for two state governments and never changed a word on any report and was never discredited. You cannot trust anything coming out of this pharmacy including the word of any staff.
Their staff is out of this world, in the very real sense.
AI yapping and not able to "understand"…
AI yapping and not able to "understand" you. Other system was much easier to order a prescription refill. Very annoying by time off phone to refill my one prescription!
CVS is too big to care about customers.
The Pharmacist in North Easton, MA named Joellen was unbelievable. After taking all day to fill a prescription and repeatedly told to come back later. She responded with “GOOD” when I told her I was going to find another place to fill my prescriptions. She then threatened to ban me from the store when I asked for her name.
If I could leave 0 stars
If I could leave 0 stars, I would. CVS no longer answers calls but uses an automated system and forces you to leave a message and hope someone returns the call.
Hindsight Really is 2020
I started using the CVS pharmacy at 4702 Lemmon Ave in Dallas TX in January 2025. I had been shopping intermittently at the store but had not used the pharmacy. I used them a few times and found them to be reasonably helpful. I had very few medications so I did not really have a problem. Then a situation came up where I needed input from the pharmacy so my physician could write a prescription for equipment that they carried and my insurance would pay for. They gave me the wrong information which I then gave to the physician. The result was the equipment was not covered by insurance and ended with multiple phone calls to the insurance company and my Doctor's office. Finally, after days of going back and forth, I found out that CVS had never looked up the information I had asked about. A rude pharmacy tech, who claimed to be the lead tech, told me. We just enter the information when we get an order and the insurance company pays for it are they don't. I said, if that is the case why did they not tell me that why tell me that they had what my insurance company would pay for. When the order came through they chose equipment that my insurance company would not pay for. I was then told that I did not need a prescription and I could just buy it in the store if the insurance company did not pay for it. I let her know that I did not appreciate being casually given the wrong information and having to contact the physician repeatedly. I told her I would not continue to have prescriptions filled there if they are giving out incorrect information. She said go on to Walgreens then. Rude, no apologies for giving out the wrong information. Then telling me to move on to Walgreens. Avoid CVS pharmacy! They may appear helpful at times but they cannot be counted on and may well provide incorrect information when you really need their assistance. I wish I had read the reviews before using their Pharmacy.
