Not only did they go DEI years ago but their service is off the charts bad. Extraordinary. It's only the bottom line to them and amazing they're still in business. Try phoning them. Better to visit the dentist.

Pharmacy Staff Rude to Older WOmen especiially

Have been. using tha pharmacy at Glouc Crossing and before that on Main Street. I loved the pharmacist that was once there - he knew me by name. He was polite. He treated customers with respect.

I am leaving this pharmacy after experiencing so many mistakes made, no apologies. They charged me for medications that were supposed to be free a few weeks ago - covered by Medicare. We tried to explain to the person at the windwo that it is always free through Medicare, and that she could check the system ot see that we always get it through Medicare - not through our supplement. She refused to listen despite the fact that her records should have showed that it was free and a simple search on Medicare shows that they are free, but the attitude was far from what I used to experience--they simply won't listen. Now it happened again - the disrespect by a pharmacist who refused to listen. Last week, I saw an older woman crying at that window - this week I was the one crying. I am moving all of my meds to Walgreens, and suggesting that everyone I know do the same. This place has become a profit-oriented center where people at the windows are not trained on some of the basics - such as what Medicare covers for life-threatening illnesses. If they would listen the the customer with the life threatening illness, they might have actually looked this up on the Medicare site. Instead they stuck to the story - you have to pay for this. I had to leave without it - and it is an essential device that keeps me alive. We had to call Medicare and print out the document that shows it is free. Then a similar problem happened this week. I would have stayed as a customer if the man at the window, who I believe is temporary, would have listened to me as I have been giong there for decades and know how my own drug list works, what is free, what has changed. I spent a lot of time with Blue Cross -- and they called CVS to tell them to give me a supply of life-saving drugs for a vacation...BC was quite sure that all was well. Of course, CVS said that Blue Cross was wrong on how it worked. Back and forth, no respect from CVS, but at least Blue Cross was very helpful. Sad, I used to love the pharmacist there - a tall thin guy who understood Mediare, customer service, the urgency of some drugs, the emotions invovled in trying to get through the red tape. THAT IS ALL GONE. Disgusted. I was treated like a "stupid old woman" by the man at the window - and his nametag showed "pharmacist." I am still a bit shaken and was not able to get any of the drugs that Blue Cross had scheduled for vacation supplies.

epidemics of overdramaticivity

I had to switch to this pharmacy located in the West Central Indiana area and they told me I had to have a warning about the benzodiazepines increasing depression and suicidal thoughts and bad moods. That's a new perception that's a brainwash about benzodiazepines ever since the opioid epidemic started. It's even manipulation to put somebody off their medication for being in a bad mood.

************
Benzodiazepine stigma often overlooks evidence that when properly prescribed, these medications are safe, effective, and rarely abused by patients without prior substance use history
. Large-scale data shows 97% of users discontinue within 7 years, debunking addiction myths. Proper use is safe, though physical dependence can occur.
Key facts to combat benzodiazepine (benzo) stigma include:

Low Misuse Rates: Among patients with no history of addiction, abuse of properly prescribed benzodiazepines is uncommon, notes the Psychiatric Times.
Most Users Do Not Become Addicted: Studies show that 85% of users discontinue in the first year,. The majority of users use them appropriately, not to get high.
Effective Treatment: Research highlights that benzodiazepines are highly effective for severe anxiety, panic, and seizure disorders, often serving as a safer alternative to other treatments,.
Misunderstood Dependence: What is often labeled "addiction" is actually physical dependence, where patients develop tolerance or experience withdrawal, which can happen with many prescribed medications, says the Benzodiazepine Information Coalition.
Stigma Hurts Patients: Over-regulation driven by stigma leads to forced, rapid tapering, which can cause severe, unnecessary suffering and dysfunction, says this YouTube video.
Not a Frequent "Gateway" Drug: While they can be misused, benzodiazepines are generally not the primary drug of abuse for most people.

It is important to distinguish between misuse (people taking high doses without a prescription) and legitimate patients taking medication as prescribed.

CVS Automated Pharmacy System - Failure

Trying to get information about a prescription. The new CVS automated system is, in my opinion, a total failure and absolutely useless. There's no way to speak with a person. I'll likely switch to Walmart or Walgreens. CVS needs to find another CIO/CTO - one who can design and implement an automated system that works.

Good deals, But Inconsistent Customer Service

I enjoy shopping at CVS Pharmacy because of the opportunity to earn rewards points and take advantage or their promotions. When coupons are used correctly, customer can maximize their savings, which makes the experience very convenient and worthwhile.

However, the customer service experience has been inconsistent, as many employees come as unprofessional. For this reason, I often prefer using the self-checkout option.

INEPT PHARMACY PROCEDURES

Doctor called in a prescription on March 11 to the west 14 Mile location in Clawson. Today, March 19 I went to the pharmacy and asked what is wrong with you people? They DID NOT text me that they had to order the meds. They DID NOT text me that today, March 19, 2026 the drugs were ready for pickup. I hate my bank, my pharmacy, and the City of Clawson, MI.

Unpleasant experience

I just went to pick up my prescription at the CVS located at 6504 West Little York, Houston, TX 77040, and unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience with the Hispanic lady at the pharmacy counter. Yesterday, when I checked on my medication, she responded in a very rude manner. Later, she informed me that they didn’t have the item in stock and needed to place an order, asking me to return today.

Today, when I arrived, she charged me for my prescription and another item I purchased, but she couldn’t find the medication I needed. She and two other staff members looked for my package but did not apologize for the inconvenience. Despite my limited ability to stand for long periods, I waited for about 15 minutes. At the end, I received no apology or thank you.

Due to this experience, I have contacted my doctors to request a change of pharmacy.

CVS Holds Prescription Hostage

I usually don't post stuff like this but I have to do this one. I've never heard of a pharmacy holding a prescription hostage, but CVS Pharmacy in Houma is doing it now. I've been back and fourth to the location because their computer system is off and they put stuff back in stock, or forgot a prescription. This last time, they told me that my sugar medicine was out of stock and had to be ordered and would take another day or so (keep in mind that I've already made 2 different trips to the store to get these scripts and have been out of my sugar meds for two days already). They stated that they can transfer it to another CVS store so I could get it, but no store within 30 miles had it. I told them to not order it and that I'd be moving to another pharmacy. When my new pharmacy called CVS to transfer everything (within 2 hours of me being in the CVS drive through) CVS stated that they could not transfer my sugar medicine because they had it on order and would have to wait until it arrived at the store (THEY CAN TRANSFER TO ANOTHER CVS PHARMACY BUT NOT TO A COMPETITOR????). I called CVS corporate customer service and they were going to transfer it to another CVS store so the other store could transfer it to my pharmacy. Corporate ended up giving me the number to the CVS distribution pharmacy and said they could transfer my prescription. NOPE!!!! When my pharmacy called, they were told they don't transfer scripts. I called the CVS distribution pharmacy, and all of a sudden they are calling the local store to have them release the prescription. I'm transferring to a mom and pop pharmacy so I can get some actual customer service because CVS forgot about service and concentrates on money.

@CVS Pharmacy long on receipts but short on service.

Poor customer service

I have visited this store several times, and honestly, it is very unpleasant to go there at night. Every time I visit during the evening, I unfortunately have the same negative experience when the employee assisting customers is Lex.

On this occasion, I went to pick up a photo order, and all she told me was that it was not ready. She then walked away without explaining whether she would be back in a moment, whether she was going to check again, or whether she would get someone else to assist me. Thankfully, the other employee working with her was very kind, helped me retrieve my photo, and also rang up the other items I was purchasing.

I also witnessed another customer on his way out show her his receipt because he was carrying a large box, and her response was simply to shrug her shoulders as if she did not care at all about what he was saying. That was extremely unprofessional and completely inappropriate behavior for someone working in customer service.

I strongly recommend that you review the security cameras so you can see the type of service this employee is providing to customers. Because honestly, it gives the impression that your company does not value customer service, since this kind of behavior is completely unacceptable.

I want to be clear that I truly enjoy visiting this store during the day, especially when Nicky is working, because she is clearly customer-service oriented and always treats customers with kindness and professionalism.

The customer service during the evening shift leaves a lot to be desired.

I was travelling and CVS pharmacy in…

I was travelling and CVS pharmacy in Avalon Park Orlando , FL ruined my trip. I was leaving to Puerto Rico my doctor sent the refill between 11 to noon. Went to pick it up at 5pm and the pharmacyst asked me to come back or to come the next day. I explained that I was travelling the same day to PR so he asked me to come back in 45 min and when I came back the pharmacy was already closed. I had to travel without medications and the stress that I had was terrible. Looking for a pharmacy that can provide me with my medication and none of them wanted to provide me with my high blood pressure medication. This as a consequence of CVS not preparing my medications on time. Will never reccomend CVS in my whole life

Horrible company

It is horrible that the rate is so low but they have control of my pharmacy care. I pay a lot for insurance services and now I will be forced to find another alternative because my doctor who I see face to face and have relationship with does not have any sayso in my health concerns. Instead, they have 9amHealth who has no in house doctors. Everything is through email or a chat text. What is the heck is going on that they have the right to do this? You should have at the very least provided more than just this option. This company is very impersonal, and they would like for me to take a full semester course in order to get my GLP-1 medication. Horrible decision given that it is not your money that is being taken out of your check every 2 weeks to go to 9amHealth, a company that I did not agree to partner with. Thank you for taking away my freedom of choice and speech. Thank you for infringing on my personal rights!

This review is not for the staff

This review is not for the staff, but for the ridiculous phone system in place. Your previous system was user friendly and quick to use. The current system is nothing short of a joke and a complete waste of time. Cannot use speaker phone, cannot just type in a Rx number, system has difficulty in understanding the simplest request. So frustrating !!!!!

I am an OTR truck driver who usually isn’t home to receive packages. I was fortunate to cross paths with a kind hearted woman name Naomi, who works at the Bloomfield store. She went above and beyond to assure the package that I had redirected to their store was kept refrigerated and in good hands. I appreciate her… wish there were more caring individuals in this world. Yestaday me and my husband went to pick up the medication because it said it was in process. So at first they said give us 20 minutes so we said okay. We waiting in there 30 minutes then the pharmacy lady I think she is Russia or something short wears a white coat said she doesn’t feel comfortable filling it because he is three days out. Then she made up so many lies. Then she says why don’t we go to another pharmacy now that’s rude and I know she don’t like black people. We will be calling corporate she needs to be removed from there. These people are so rude to this pharmacy get zero stars from us. Sad. Com
