Given wrong medication for 3rd time.
Continually have issues here. This is the third time I have canceled a prescription via their automated text service and it was filled anyway. My husband went to pick up another script and was given the one that was not supposed to be filled. I went back to get the correct prescription and when I explained what had happened and that this was the third time a prescription was filled and I wasted money being given the wrong medication the associate told me that in person transaction is given priority and the automated service and web service have had issues since they have been inodated with new customers with riteaid closing... so I just waste money because cvs cant manage their own system, at this point im out about $80 because this company cant get their $hit together?! This is horrible

The new system for the pharmacy is very bad. Very confusing for older people and it can't understand what people are saying. Keeps restarting. Very frustrating!! 😡 If this isn't resolved I guess I'm going to a different pharmacy. Very, very disappointed 😔
WORST PHARMACY ever
WORST PHARMACY ever. Cant call in and talk to a human. Have to leave your first, last name plus your birthday and pray someone calls you back. SEVERLEY understaffed. Have to wait up to 20 minutes in line.
I want to recognize Gerorgette
I want to recognize Gerorgette, the pharmacist at CVS Brickell, for her outstanding service and genuine care. I walked in extremely frustrated and ready to write a long negative review, and even change pharmacies. That completely changed because of her.
Despite being incredibly busy, Gerorgette took the time to listen, showed remarkable patience, and demonstrated true passion for helping people. She personally contacted my doctor’s office, worked through the issue, and found a real solution to my prescription problem. She never rushed me, never dismissed my concerns, and treated me with kindness and professionalism throughout the entire process.
She truly made my day. Thanks to Gerorgette, I am staying with CVS as a customer. I am deeply grateful for everything she did..this is the kind of service that deserves recognition. CVS is very lucky to have her.
Your voice message to cvs pharmacy isn't *yours* & could cost you a life!
Disclaimer:
I have no receipt yet and thus no photo but this JUST HAPPENED:
$$$$$$
Ever leave a voice message at CVS (for the pharmacy)? No lie: Your phone-voice message to cvs pharmacy isn't *yours*! That's to say, OUR actual messages are no longer are sent to cvs INTACT, but are reinterpreted by machine, THEN sent... To wit:
$
I just got a call back from CVS pharm asking me what I called about. I was SHOCKED to find out what the pharmacist told me: Artificial Intelligence (AI) restates all calls in "it's" own thoughts and words... so OUR messages are heretofore NEVER received as sent OR in our voices! W T H ?!
$
The system knew I had called, but botched the message so bad the pharmacist didn't even know what I was calling about - ie: didn't know the medication or details surrounding it. I had to repeat it all to him. What if I hadn't been available to chat? What if I was in the hospital? Ad-Infinitum.. This is PATHETIC!
$
This is a serious and potentially LETHAL turn of events at CVS proper and I can envision many lawsuits coming from their use of such a tainted e-service! How sad and pathetic.
$
I have had constant reoccurring issues/problems with cvs and this just takes the cake.
It is such a threat to reality and safety as to be literally unbelievable!

Every month they do more to discourage me from continuing to be a customer. After 25 years I am fed up with their inability: to keep records, follow orders, process the most current meds, input or maintain or keep med related notes in their "system", record or keep client instructions, refill meds properly or on time, remember to refill meds.... the list is atrocious just keeps growing. I no longer trust cvs as a pharmacy related company.
I have had it with the CVS pharmacy on…
I have had it with the CVS pharmacy on Beracasa Way in Boca Raton. In the past, the pharmacy always appeared to be unfriendly and condescending, but I continued going for convenience sake, but no more. I had a heart valve replacement one year ago and was told just before I have any dental work I must take an antibiotic known as amoxicillan. The heart surgeon gave me 3-years worth of refills. Yesterday, I developed a terrible toothache and made an immediate dental appointment to have it taken care of. When I went to CVS to have the prescription filled, I was told by a bald pharmacist with glasses, (don't know his name) "your doctor can give you as many refills as he pleases, but your prescription expires after a year" then added with a smirk, "and it expired 2 days ago." I asked why the pharmacy didn't contact the doctor. He said, they did and are waiting for confirmation. The point is, he didn't care that I had a toothache. Why couldn't he have given me at least 2 tablets, just enough so that I could go to the dentist? He saw that I had been given many refills, he saw that it had expired only 2 days ago, so now, I have to suffer with a toothache until I can reach my doctor. I had to cancel my dental appointment because I don't have the drug I need. I wonder, why does bureaucracy always seem to precede good conscience these days?
The Pharmacy team at CVS is rude and…
The Pharmacy team at CVS is rude and incompetent. This has been a problem for years and is getting worse. Someone at the top of this organization is not doing their job and should be fired.
Ok so i left this pharmacy a couple…
Ok so i left this pharmacy a couple years ago because of how terrible a pharmacist had treated me. My husband needs a TB done for work and online said a local minute clinic could do it. Just now I tried to call and the complete asinine way the automated system is set up has me just floored. You cant speak to someone pharmacy related unless you provide all your info and are in the system!! How dumb is that. So no help whatsoever. Have to leave a message and maybe someone might call you back! If I could give 0 starts I would. I hate that this is the only place close to us that does this. I wont go here for anything else, ever again!!!!

The staff is fantastic, considering what they have to work with.
The new ai system is completely worthless.
The phone system makes it almost impossible to get your prescription filled. Even though I've been coming here for about 2 decades
I'm considering going across the street to that pharmacy.
Corporate should pay attention to the consumer, not the bottom line.
If I could this trash negative stars
If I could this trash negative stars, I would. They're concept of customer service is nonexistent. CVS is trash. Their prices are too high. Their stores are filthy bug and pest infested sh!tholes.
Go to Walgreens or Walmart. Do not use CVS.
Customer service is an atrocity
Customer service refused to fix a problem created by a local store staff member. Specifically staff messed up when signing me up for a subscription to their paid membership. I would end up being charged double the promotional price. After I pointed it out they said to contact online CS to fix it. After a 10 day wait for an email response (their web site promises 2 business days) they regurgitated what I wrote back to me and pretty much said "too bad".
I had the absolute worst experience…
I had the absolute worst experience thankfully my uncle knows the general manager, so the woman on duty with the black hoodie and the black sweatpants that refused to let me use the restroom and tell me her name. She literally tried reaching down my pants. It was disgusting. she needs to be fired.
It's mind over matter. CVS doesn't mind, and the customer doesn't matter.
On 8Dec2025 about 6pm I went to the Belton SC CVS Pharmacy.
I waited alone at the "Consultation" counter for a few minutes. I heard a voice say "Can I help you". I looked around but saw no one coming to help. I waited since the pharmacist was about 10 feet away and seemed busy at some kind of machine, register or such.
Then I saw a woman, maybe 5'10" maybe 28 years look at me. After a brief wait she said "Can I help you?" The irritation was obvious. Other than standing and maybe chatting to the pharmacist she was not doing anything.
I showed her the Ingles Pharmacy bag I was holding and replied “Yes, I could use some help with this.” The woman moved to opposite me and looked at the bag and the two boxes of mixed Sudafed PE. I explained that I was prescribed a stronger dose Sudafed but the Sudafed I found on the shelf was all I got. The lady responded “Yeah, that’s what we sell as well. That’s what you need.”
I then read from the prescription label 120 mg Tab #60, Days supply 30.
That woman pointed at the Sudafed PE and said something to the affect “yeah, that’s what you need.”
I held the prescription out to her and said “120 mg.” Eventually she took the bag with the attached prescription and went to a shelf to look around. She asked the pharmacist something, who responded by pointing at a shelf higher than the lady was looking.
Then the lady came back and said “we have a box of 20 tables of the 120mg.” I said “so that’s good for 10 of the 30 days prescribed.”
The lady said “well we could sell you a box but it would be illegal to sell you very much. It’s controlled. Ya wanna buy one box?”
Since one box did not solve my problem I said “no”, I thanked her for her time and was left with the impression that the lady didn’t know what she was talking about. The pharmacist was standing less than 10 foot from us and offered no insight, no clarification, no confirmation, no courtesy, and no concern. Considering a couple months back we had a similar cold shoulder from the pharmacist, we will drive 40 minutes to a Publix pharmacy where customer care actually means they give a dang.
I get my prescriptions at the 40th St
I get my prescriptions at the 40th St. and Thunderbird store in Phoenix. I requested my refill three weeks in advance. When it came time for them to refill the prescription, I got an email stating they were out of stock and it would be available the following week. I tried multiple times to contact somebody at the store… Good luck! They force you to leave a message, stating they will return your call.
Nobody ever returned my call.
CVS seems to have the worst customer service in the area. Sad.
Automated voice routing system
Automated voice routing system is horrible. Another attempt by CVS to increase profit at the expense of any semblance of customer service.
The automated customer service for…
The automated customer service for pharmacy is absolutely horrible. The stores are all unorganized with incompetent employees. CVS has become one of the worst companies for customer service.
CVS is a horrible place for…
CVS is a horrible place for prescriptions and I have once again fallen into their trap. Called and emailed 3 days in a row to get my prescription filled and it’s a different story every time about why they cannot fill it. Busy, we will text you, and now… (day 3) we ran out (“ but if someone else doesn’t pick up their prescription, I’ll give you theirs”)… ummm WHAT?!? Awful customer service and awful… service generally speaking. Maybe, one day, I’ll actually get my prescription. Wish me luck.
Unreal
Unreal. Bought $53 heat pad with auto shutoff. Got home - it is USED and does not work. It wasn’t placed inside box correctly - the cord was just shoved in but the twist tie was wrapped sloppy on 1 end, the cord was already plugged into the pad itself, the pad is dirty around the edges and the plush material is no longer plush because it’s USED, plugged it into the wall socket and does not even turn on!!! To top this all off — I have bought 3 different CVS brand heat pads from Nov 2024 to Dec 2025 and all 3 stopped working. Of course they stopped past 30 day refund allowance. Because of that, today I purchased a non-CVS brand. A USED non-CVS brand. Beware - the manager expressed they are having “management problems” there and this 1 has been there only “a little while” and 1 manager was fired last week. I will get my refund and run away as fast as possible!
CVS is by far the worst pharmacy
CVS is by far the worst pharmacy. Youll put in a refill request, itll say its processing and when you check back a few days later it shows up as you never sent in the request. The request gets removed and you arent notified, you find out at the last minute when you need the prescription after thinking it was being processed. How can you do that with diabetic supplies?!
CVS pharmacy - New Macland Rd
The pharmacy on new Mackland Road consistently provides poor service. If you were told to come back between 2 and 4 PM to pick up your prescription, just assume that it’s the next day or the day after that they’re talking about.
