Nobody answers any phone i tryied in Limassol and in Nicosia. Called the ministry and just gave me another non_answering number.
It was for an urgent parcel to be received, for wich we got 2 messages for unsuccesfull delivery, wich cannot be the case, as someone was home all the time and no phone calls where made to us by the post people. Its absolutly not acceptable, even if we are use to theese cases regarding goverment departments in Cyprus. They are all the same, apart from KEP. Shame & discrace. All they know how to do well, is make people angry. Dont they even read or care about the comments they get?

When I thought the Cyprus Postal…

When I thought the Cyprus Postal Service couldn’t get any worse, now they steal customers money!!!

What on earth is happening to the Cyprus Postal Service and why are it’s customers not getting the service and Customer Service they deserve and pay for?

I had reason to complain back in 2020 when I paid £75 for a guaranteed 5-day delivery from the UK. The Royal Mail got the parcel on the island in 27 hours, the CPS took over three weeks to get it from Larnaca to Aradippou! After sending a written complaint, and as expected, my complaint went nowhere otherthan receiving a telephone call from an oldish sounding man who simply wanted to tell me to go back to my own Country and ended up closing the call on me! Now that’s what I call Customer service and I so wished I had his name!!!

I refrained from using the CPS until foolishly, used them again last September and they have stolen my money! I have chased my refund 11 times by telephone and always given the promise of a return call but these calls never happened. As I have not been contacted either in writing or by the arrogant man from 2020, I can only assume they are happy to do just this.

It maybe useful employing a 'time & motion' company to assess the overall operation as clearly the service given is appalling and needs reviewing. Maybe if they employed staff who are able to fulfill the tasks expected of them rather than staff who are related to existing staff, maybe more would get done and the level of service improve. A big ask but anything would be better than what we pay for at present!

As for my future needs of a postal service, this will definitely not be with the Cyprus Postal Service, I will only be using professional courier services and I certainly hope others do too!

Somebody please shut them down

You pay a premium so you get the item as soon as possible with couriers like DHL.
It takes just 4-5 days for the item to arrive from the Other side of the World to Larnaca,
then CYPRUS POST takes over
and it needs 2-3 WEEKS for the item to travel from Larnaca to a village 8km away.

Somebody please shut them down

Extremely disappointing service

Extremely disappointing service. I attempted to pay the import charges for my parcel via the website, but it immediately crashed and displayed an error. My account now shows the payment as “Approved,” yet the delivery remains pending. I went to the post office to collect it in person, only to be told they cannot release my parcel due to a system glitch. Overall, a very poor experience.

Still Waiting for My Delivery

I previously submitted a review on August 11th, and as of today I am still awaiting the delivery of my package, which remains in Larnaca. The shipment took only two days to arrive from Paros to Larnaca, yet it has not been forwarded for delivery. Unfortunately, my attempts to contact customer service have not been met with any meaningful assistance, and no steps have been taken to resolve the matter. This experience reflects a lack of efficiency and reliability, which is very disappointing.

USELESS ORGANIZATION

This has to be the most useless post office on the planet. All one has to do is read the reviews to understand why. It is as useless as the one that governs Cyprus. I visited the main post office in Nicosia for the first time in my 74 years last week and must say it was an experience I would not wish to have again.
A USELESS ORGANIZATION THAT NEEDS A COMPLETE AND TOTAL DEMOLITION!!

Complete nonsense. You can't ship a parcel from the post office. Must register on a website first that is not possible without cypriot phone number. Good luck for tourists. Also for old people. When its done their amazing page doesn't work anyway. Which overeducateds found this genial system out I don't know but I would wish for them at least 10 years of ore extraction in high heel shoes by a dead herring in hand in the deepest tunnel of a closed copper mine for sure!
The workers seem stressed, they are unpatient. Horrible postal service, I have never seen anything like this before.

Cyprus Post

Beyond a joke, it’s a pits Cyprus post are so unprofessional I’ve sent multiple parcels to Cyprus through couriers which use Cyprus post on the final mile delivery, everything goes smoothly through the parcels journey until it arrives in Cyprus, where it then becomes a merry go round of weather your parcel will actually turn up at the address you send it to.

Delivery agents claim that parcels have been ‘attempted for delivery’ when the recipients of the parcel are indoors all day and haven’t received any notices, phone calls or knocks on the door to try and deliver the parcel.

They charge foros on whichever parcel they want regardless of the contents or what is has been listed as on the custom documents and then not at all on other parcels the inconsistencies with Cyprus post are beyond belief.

When you attempt to contact them via email they do not respond but they are quick enough to send you an email regarding foros before the parcel has even arrived in the country.

My parcels journey in Cyprus.

9/08/23 ~ Notification that €27 foros was required to be paid prior to the parcel arriving in the country.

13/08/23 ~ Arrived in Cyprus from abroad

13/08/23 ~ Send item to domestic location (Inb). Lemesos D P O 3900

14/08/23 ~ Item presented : addressee absent - message left in addressee's letterbox

(NO LETTER IN LETTERBOX)

14/08/23 ~ Was out for delivery attempt - Addressee not at address indicated - Addressee's office closed

14/08/23 ~ Unsuccessful item delivery attempt (Inb). Reason: Addressee not available Measure: Scheduled for further action/processing on next working day

15/08/23 ~ Contacted CP via email and haven’t received any response.

17/08/23 ~ Back to Larnaka Airport ~ Your shipment has arrived at the postal operator of the country of destination and will be delivered in the coming days.

17/08/23 ~ Item has passed a checkpoint (Customs)

17/08/23 ~ Handover item to delivery agent (Inb)

I also have a large letter with a Radiator cap in which I sent Royal Mail on the 25th July 2023 and it still hasn’t been received and it’s the 18/08/23.

Neither parcels have been delivered to the property, no response from the email I’d sent to them & absolutely no clue when my parcel is going to or if my parcels are going to turn up.

Don’t post with Cyprus Post take it in your airline suitcase instead… it’s cheaper and it’ll get there. As all you are doing are filling their operatives houses up with products. It goes from the top to the bottom they are all in it together.

The delivery man was so rude (his phone number is (+357 ****3856). He screamed into my ears when we were on the phone just to say “I’M OUTSIDE THE ROAD. GO DOWN” when I asked where he was ???? What is that attitude??? And then I came down, he asked for my ID but I do not know what ID is needed then I asked. He said he did not know then how do I know. He also asked about my Passport ?? Why do I need a passport for a delivery? He said everybody gave him passports. WHAT TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

Unprofessional experience

You wait a package for a month, and in unknown time from unknown number somebody call, if you not answer and call one minute later they not deliver your package and have to go whole distance to their office if you want to take it. Completely unprofessional

The worst post personnel to ever exist.

I've been sick the past few days, the delivery agent must've come, rang on the door once and by the time I was up from my bed to open the door (1-2 minutes) no one was there. I check for an update on the IPS WEB Tracking system, and it says the following (for me not receiving the package) : Reason : Addressee not available - Measure : Customer notified. Now, no one has notified me, left a message nor called. Not even a note on my door post box or whatever. I was the one who called to get some information about the package the same day and they told me it'd be here the day after (Today). I called again today, someone else answered, I asked the same stuff and got a different answer. This time I'd been told that I'd get my stuff in 3-4 days. When I asked if I could go and receive my packages myself I had been told that the mailman/delivery agent has them and when I asked for a phone number I basically got told off. The attitude and communication skills where nowhere to be seen. I don't even know what skills are necessary and the requirements to even work there.
By the way one would expect to get a phone call when a delivery agent arrives to the door, or even a message to be left, when you update on your site that a customer has been "Notified".
Absolutely horrid, if I was able to give negative stars out of 5 I definitely would.
Please give me that option, thanks.

Cyprus post loosing incoming parcels.

Cyprus post loosing incoming parcels.
Officers said they are not responsible for unsecured parcels with tracking starting with letter "U". That means they can take home whatever parcel starts with letter "U".

An honor for Cyprus Post services

I know pretty well that for a packet reaching your hands, it takes lots of people to involve. However, for helping you and taking actions when a parcel from the UK has arrived since January 15th and have not received it until February 11th...it takes personal involvement.
This message aims to thank all personnel in the postal services but more precisely MR MICHAEL GEORGE that got personally involved for helping me even if it wasn't his job.
MR MICHAEL GEORGE is a "Postal Superintendent " working in the "Larnaca Office of Exchange" and I would like once again to thank MR MICHAEL GEORGE and remind to all of us that: whenever the system may have gaps, it is the human factor that changes everything. I am foreigner in Cyprus...and lucky that MR MICHAEL GEORGE replied on his phone number. None was replying on the general number 80002000. None was replying on other numbers I found through internet when called. I spent maybe 3 hours for trying to communicate with Larnaca post office.

When a public servant and Employee's understanding of the situation reaches the point to feel that involvement is required even beyond his jurisdiction and sphere of duties, these Employees honor the Cypriot and local reputation and add something more than just a valuable and positive review for the Post Services branch of Larnaca.
I am obliged and thankful. Writing this review, is the least I can do.

If you ever have a positive reaction from any of the public services, please do not ignore it. Inform the community. These Employees deserve it and have to be praised accordingly for illustrating the best of example around us.
