Watch is great value
Watch is great value. Requested for the delivery to call us upon arrival. But no calls. After 2 failed attempts, I had to go pick up the watch at the Fedex depot about 40mins away. Bit annoyed about the process of receiving the watch!

The material below expectation
I ordered two watches, one for myself and one for my wife. The black one looked like a cheap plastic kids' watch. I'm not even sure I want to wear it. Unfortunately, the photos made it look elegant and luxurious, but when it arrived, it felt lightweight, and seemed like it was made out of plastic. The material was far below my expectations.
As for my wife's watch, while it's heavier, it still doesn't feel luxurious or premium. looks like a cheap imitation piece.

i had an issue with one of their polycarbon watches. i bought it in thailand. their agent here vapourised. i complained to Milano head office, got the initial professional run around, and put my saga on Trustpilot, within a day the BOSS of Milano was on my case, and promised to send me any ultra thin i wanted in replacement. i chose the bimetal 38mm. it was delivered today, and is perfection. with my x4 glasses on, this is proper craftmanship, exceptionally well made, and looks the part too. a bit of a struggle but hey ho, their man in charge sorted it smane day.....respect....and thanks.xx

This weekend i bought the black Polycarbon. Before the watch has arrived i am disappointed with the company. the watch is listed as £136.00, however when i checked my account, i was shockedto see i was charged £141.14! not a huge difference but it is not correct.
Today i have received an email from UPS advising that i will need to pay a further £41 VAT! I find this outrageous considering the website said deliveries are free.
I understand that import taxes need to be paid but they stock the watch in the UK so see no reason why it needs to be shipped from Italy.
unfortunately i am left with no choice but to pay the hidden fees and return the watch at my own expense.
This is not a luxury experience

I purchased a watch from the European website and it has been nothing but a problem! The website clearly states that for orders over £100 (which mine was) delivery is free. A few days later I received an email from UPS telling me they had been unable to deliver an item due to an outstanding charge of £65.06 which because I wasn't in they hadn't been able to collect. Initially I thought this was a scam but after a few days realised this related to the watch I had ordered. There is no phone number for D1 Milano so I emailed them asking what this additional charge was for as their website clearly states delivery is free. They responded that it is an additional charge because the UK isn't in the EU and that this information is found on their FAQ page. Extremely misleading. I asked to cancel the order for a full refund. They offered to halve the additional cost which I refused. They then said that if I paid the cost online ahead of delivery and sent them a receipt they would refund it. I asked to pay the driver on delivery (which was what I had originally been expected to do) and have since not had any response to my emails. I have now asked to cancel the order and have a full refund but have not heard back from them. Clearly I will be raising a claim with my bank but buyer beware. This company is not to be trusted.
12.2.24. Edit: I am now happy to report that I was contacted by the COO of D1 Milano who was very apologetic about the experience I had had. I was offered to select any watch of my choice free of charge which was an extremely generous gesture. I have now received this watch and am very pleased with it. Thank you D1 Milano - you came good.

Poor quality and service
Bought for my husbands birthday. Within a couple of months, and hardly any wear, the strap failed. He put it away and wore another watch. We moved house and it got 'lost'. Recently it turned up and we found it couldn't be repaired locally.
They will send a replacement screw, which is tiny, but at the cost of 35 euros. Unbelievable lack of interest in customer service.
Lesson learned really. I wouldn't buy again from a company not interested in putting right the failure of their products. The strap broke really early on, and the watch would have been lost if we hadn't noticed. Not good quality, and not good after care. If you're in Europe, maybe it would be different?
Couldn't recommend.

CASE RESOLVED!! Polycarbon Watch’s coating peels off so easily!!

I just bought a this $150 polycarborn watch for my wife last month. Unfortunately, Its coating starts to peel off. She barely wears this watch and this happens so fast. What’s the guarantee? I have bought one for myself too & I’m afraid that it would manifest the same problem. So sad & kinda frustrating. Can you help pls? Thanks!
Resolution:
I emailed CS about the issue, with the details of the watch. I got their response accordingly.
Watch is still under warranty, so a replacement was shipped to my wife in Bahrain! :) That was amazing! Though it took a while to resolve this but me and my wife are so glad that they pay attention on the case.
Thank you D1 Milano! Soon to get the stainless one to add to my collections! ☺️
