I've heard of Daily Harvest, but I didn't think it was for me. For those who eat uber-healthy, maybe. But not for me. Well, I've been pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. My sister suggested it to me at the right time because I've been looking to add more veggies to my diet.
I love the foods and quality. Also love the variety and that there is something for everyone. I wish that shipping was included again for subscribers, I find that this is important for loyalty and retention of customers. I do love receiving free items but I order as needed and sometimes done get to use that benefit. I have never had an issue that was not resolved. Great customer service!
I absolutely loved everything I ordered. Loved the packaging, biodegradable. The ease of prep, quick. Organic and yummy!
Thank you.
The ordering process is very easy and I love the ease of warming up the harvest bowls for lunch.
However I do feel like it has gotten a little expensive. Depending on how many you eat a week, it could be a lot. I only have on average 3 bowls a week so I make it last a month.
I enjoy a lot of the dishes they offer in terms of taste, but I have found that I can’t order something if it has asparagus. It is just too woody for me and I can’t enjoy the bowl if there is asparagus.
Made lunch with a DH dish at work for a co worker and I- she loved it✔️
I really enjoy most of the Daily Harvest products. They’re tasty and convenient. My only minor complaint is that they don’t incorporate enough protein and the soups aren’t large enough portion sizes. As a vegan, I rely on the meals as my quick lunches. However, I have to supplement because there’s nowhere near sufficient protein in a serving. For example, most of the smoothies have 2-4g of protein, but ideal is 25g. Since these are such a high price point, it becomes a bit too much if one has to supplement them.
Really tasty and quick to prepare. Food looks fresh when frozen, quality high, ingredients are varied, healthy and more detailed than I am able to accomplish at home.
Loyal customer to Daily Harvest for 5+yrs. They always provided me with my smoothies when I wanted and a simple "skip" when I didn't. The problem is: After being a loyal, consecutive customer for 5+ years, however, they suddenly just started charging my card and sending boxes of smoothies - abruptly stopping their text reminders. I called and was told these charges were non-refundable, citing the fact that I'd been a "long time customer, no longer eligible to receive 'skip text' options". This is absurdity, complete opposite of customer loyalty, faulting as opposed to rewarding loyalty. They didn't flinch in fact seemed happy that I was canceling. What a joke, again I do believe they've been bought out. Yrs ago I had a similar experience, they forgot to send the "skip" reminder text, were super apologetic and comped the order due to their mistake. Now they're above that. Especially to long time loyal customers. Trust me use another good hearted company that hasn't sold out like this.

So far I have liked most of the food. My favorite at this time is the butternut squash soup.
I love the choices and that I can easily change the food I receive week to week.
Every item in my Daily Harvest box has been delicious. I love how convenient and simple it is to eat so healthy. And it's pretty affordable for the amount of food I've received!
Several years ago, I had a positive experience with Daily Harvest and ordered their smoothies regularly. However, due to limited freezer space and a desire for variety, I paused my subscription. Recently, enticed by their advertising, I decided to give them another try, this time trying their soups and bowls as a change from the smoothies.
After spending considerable time selecting new items and updating my payment details, I was surprised and disappointed to receive a delivery that did not match my current order. Instead, I received a set of 8 smoothies that I had ordered four years prior. This error was particularly frustrating given how busy I am and the time I spent updating my order as well as the cost of the order.
After contacting customer service to address this issue, I was offered a credit but was denied a refund. The response I received was unsatisfactory, as the representative insisted that the error was due to my failure to save the updated order, a claim I dispute given my careful review and confirmation of the order before finalizing it.
This experience has left me disappointed for several reasons. First, the financial aspect, as I have spent money on products that I neither want nor enjoy. Second, the waste of food is a bummer( neither I nor my family members like the flavors received). Last, the resolution (a credit for another order) offered by customer service does not align with my expectations or needs, as I have lost confidence in the company's ability to fulfill orders correctly and thus do not wish to use the credit provided.
My recent experience with Daily Harvest has been underwhelming and frustrating, marked by issues in order accuracy and unsatisfactory customer service. This has significantly diminished my previous positive perception of the company and I recommend you go elsewhere (especially after reading other reviews here and others having similar issues with order inaccuracies).

Easy and delicious. Adds variety to my diet that I would never be able to add myself. Helped make eating more plants easy!
The Harvest Bowls are amazing! I have loved every one of them and the pasta, too. The Smoothies and Forager Bowls have been less stellar. Not as much flavor.
The food is delicious and easy to prepare. Except the soups. Portions sizes are great.
I really love how you food tastes; but I wish it had a lower salt content. This is probably why I’m getting very soft stools. Perhaps if I drank more water it would help. Unfortunately I’m only thirsty when it’s very hot outside.
