Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the website, describing it as glitchy, unusable, and constantly refreshing, which made reading articles and leaving comments difficult. Customers also frequently reported issues with the content, noting a prevalence of celebrity gossip over serious news and concerns about biased reporting and censorship in the comments section. The subscription process was also a source of frustration, with users finding it cumbersome and difficult to access content even after paying. Some people were dissatisfied with the social media presence, specifically mentioning a lack of response from the company's sports department on Facebook. Additionally, some reviewers found the product, such as the crossword, to be problematic, with missing letters and other errors.

All round terrible customer service .

All round terrible customer service .
I have emailed and written to them from Editor to general enquires over 20 times since September of last year asking why they stopped the football insert on a Monday and have not had One reply .
I even used the "sports dept" on facebook , which they read and didn`t reply .
As I said in one of my emails , sorry to have shown an interest .
From someone who would purchase the DM Six times a week , I only buy on Saturday for the TV guide.
Bad form Daily Mail , basic bad manners and shame on you editor....

Hijacked by Maggots

Comments clearly mostly by right wing yanks. If you’re chasing approval, post something ignorant, racist, bigoted or mysogenistic. Post something informed or caring, and you’ll be ridiculed. Not for the intelligent...

Subscriptions cannot be cancelled

I took out an online subscription to the Daily Mail to try the newspaper out. Over the last three months, I have repeatedly tried to cancel it, but nothing has happened. No emails have been answered. If I want to cancel, I will obviously have to block my bank card.

Shame you can't give zero stars

I use this app to send me to sleep because it's numbinly boring but there are other issues with it too. It constantly scrolls forward so articles are unreadable. Contacted them 3 times and still can't correct it so removing the app and I'll have to find some other story teller to help me sleep

Beckham coverage

Should be rebranded as 'Daily Beckham'. The Ad Nauseum amount of coverage they give to this puerile, trivia is beyond parody. Only buy for crosswords.

Beware of the subscription trial and then cancellation

BEWARE of subscription situation, they originally stated they wouldn't only be able to cancel if you had subscription info such as amounts involved, however that isn't in the email sent on ordering or in the online portal under the subscription area - stinks of a situation bordering being a con.

Terrible reporting

Terrible reporting, terrible customer service and generally dreadful experience! I know that, with the daily mail, expectations would be low, but they went far lower than I had feared. Even cancelling before being charged proved more effort that it should have been!

The comments are not representative

The comments are not representative, most are generated by AI, according to Copilot detection.
There is no way to complain about the comments. "If you have a question about comments" goes directly to an old article.
"commenting on this article has ended."
They don't even care what people think about them.

Hopeless

Subscribed to a print version. Of course it didn't arrive, contacted them could not explain why it hadn't arrived, no apology so cancelled. Complete waste of time. Reading other reviews seems they're reluctant to give refunds. Will contact bank if not fully refunded.

Got swtiched onto a more expensive plan without any notice being provided. When you try and cancel you have to ring and get stuck on hold for ages, not available on a day I can call (like today) or just try and sell another package. Not prepared to refund the latest month that has come out my bank despite the fact i havent read a single article or used any of their features.

Just beware.
