Terrible customer service. They promised something and did not deliver. And now will not give refund.

Here is the full story. I was visiting Dubai on vacation in December 2025. I met with Hansaj Gupta who i registered my interest with for a potential new build. He told me the payment rate would be 1% monthly. I agreed and paid my deposit. I asked him if I needed to do anything else while in Dubai or if I could solidify the deal when I came back to Canada. He said no need to do anything else.

I came back to Canada and was told 1% monthly wouldn't happen anymore. Since then i have been trying to get my refund. I have been passed to Mariia who passed me to the happiness center. Unfortunately, with no customer nunber, no one will speak to me. As I do not have a customer number, only a registered interest number i am getting no help. Finally, after 4 months of back and forth, my refund was approved. I asked them to send it to me but it was paid in cash, so I need to be there to pick it up. I sent a representative to pick it up for me and I emailed both the happiness center and Mariia to authorize him, and they would not give him the money. They now say I need to give him legal power of attorney.

DAMAC is a joke and the people running it are happy to take your money, not deliver and then make it impossible for a foreign investor to get money back.

Please invest in companies like EMMAR, SOBA or others. Dont waste your money.

Absolutely life saving team special two lovely very professional engineers Muneesh and Rizwan. They fixed all the problems with AC previous team appointed by the landlord couldn’t or ignored.

Very good maintenance work done for flush socket change for the bathroom repair by engineer Muneesh and Rizwan Atik . The service was quick and on time.

I have been living in Damac Hills 2 for more than a year and I have had an amazing experience with the maintainence team here. Mr Rizwan has always helped get things done on a short time span and with great quality. Thank you for taking care of our house and providing an amazing service.

Call to Damac telephone center, they said they will give a reminder to the maintenance team. No reply.
Wrote email to service charges team, they said they will give reminder to maintenance team, no reply.

I am very disappointed with my experience with DAMAC Properties. As a US investor, I trusted the promises made by the sales team at the time of booking.

I purchased a property in DAMAC Islands-2 during the last week of December. At the time of booking, the sales person Wazzim and my broker clearly informed me that I would receive complimentary flight tickets and a 5-day hotel stay once I completed the 25% payment. I completed the required payment by January 25th.

However, due to the Middle East situation at that time, there were no flights available from the US. When I later requested to use the promised offer, the sales person directly refused and denied the offer completely.

The biggest issue is that DAMAC never provided any written confirmation or email regarding the terms, validity, or expiry of this offer. Nothing was documented properly.

I strongly advise buyers and investors: please do not trust verbal promises from sales representatives. Make sure every commitment, offer, discount, waiver, or benefit is clearly mentioned in writing before purchasing any property.

What is even more frustrating is that the same property I purchased in DAMAC Islands-2 is now being offered with a 10% discount and complete DLD waiver for new buyers.

Very disappointing experience and poor handling of customer commitments.

I purchased a supposedly high end apartment in Qatar in October of last year. The finishings are substandard and there are many issues that are yet to be resolved. I have phoned and emailed countless times but nobody ever responds. It is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone

We had a civil issue that was unattended to for 8 months. I would like to credit Rizwan Syed Ali and White Spot team at Damac Maintenance for their diligence and relentless efforts in the completion of the work in 3 days. Rizwan displayed a pleasant demeanour and quick response time to address the issue at hand.

We had wall repair and plumbing issues in the kitchen and rooms, Muneesh and Rizwan was very responsive from the time I reported, Muneesh followed up and communicated well and ensure everything was done orderly
