I put a deposit for EOI in early November and decided not to go ahead with it and requested a refund. After numerous attempts and poor communication I have not received my full refund yet. I am still waiting for 20k AED. No one responds to emails and you cannot get through anyone as it’s all AI generated. This has caused me stress and frustration. They are very helpful in taking my money but getting a refund is traumatic.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Disappointing experience – UK buyer at DAMAC Hills, Richmond, Trump International Golf Estate

As a UK resident purchasing property in Dubai, we were forced to take handover of our villa at Richmond, DAMAC Hills – Trump International Golf Estate, on the clear assurance that all snagging issues would be resolved post-handover. It has now been 18 months since handover, and instead of progress, matters have gone backwards.

We have made over 30 in-person visits to the DAMAC Happiness Centre and sent over 100 emails. During face-to-face meetings, DAMAC representatives repeatedly confirm that the issues will be addressed, yet once we leave, the case is closed without any action being taken. This ongoing pattern of commitments made in meetings that were not subsequently honoured has continued for over a year.

Engineers have attended the villa on multiple occasions, acknowledged the snagging issues, and confirmed that remedial works were required. However, files are closed within days without the agreed works being completed, forcing us to restart the complaint process repeatedly.

The Happiness Centre appears more focused on encouraging customers to leave positive reviews than on resolving long-standing defects. This is extremely frustrating and unprofessional.

The workmanship of the villa is very poor, particularly for a development marketed under the Trump International Golf Estate branding, which implies a premium standard. The reality does not reflect the quality or service expectations associated with the Trump name.

I have emailed Ali Sajwani and Amira Sajwani directly, yet have not even received an acknowledgement.

I would strongly warn UK residents and overseas buyers considering purchasing property in Dubai through DAMAC—especially within DAMAC Hills and the Trump International Golf Estate—to be extremely vigilant. Once payment is complete, there is little accountability and minimal post-handover support.
