They won't sell to you if you wrote a review based on their performance. I thought id give them another chance and they cancelled my order and there reason was because they couldn't take a bad review wow what good customer service never in my life seen such behaviour .

Great modest clothing
I bought a number of outfits from Damak after seeing my sister and niece dressed in outfits from here. I ordered about a week before Eid, and paid for the faster delivery. I was a little concerned about it getting to me in time, so I emailed them, and they responded within minutes with the tracking details of the parcel. When they did arrive I loved all of the outfits. They are a little baggier than I expected, but I still love them.

Disappointed
Ordered a couple of size 16 kameez. Upon delivery checked it looks like an 18/20 size. 1 kameez gold print had faded patches. Therefore i would deem it as a faulty kameez. Yet i had to pay for return postage. When i emailed questioning why i should pay for return if items faulty, their response was its as per their policy apparently and even stated they will not reply to any more of my emails.
Such rude impatient customer service.

We got your parcel back 3 weeks ago and refunded it in FULL 3 days later.
As for the faults:
1) Our sizing is true to the measure stated on our website. We did offer to exchange it for free (you would have to pay the return cost)
2) The screen printed item: you shared no images and said it wasn't what you expected. If you feel it was at fault, you are welcome to drop us an e-mail and we will cover the return cost for that item (as it was 1 of 3).
We do acknowledge faults and only compensate them when the item has been returned: when no images are shared we cannot refund any costs until we see them.

I am actually surprised at the negative reviews! Me and my sister have both used Damak without any issues at all and always receive beautiful items and that too very quickly! The customer service of this website is amazing! I recently ordered an incorrect size and after emailing them I was given instructions on sending back for an exchange and it was all done without any problem at all and i received the correct size order so quickly!! I have dealt with other asian online shops in the past who haven't been so easy to deal with in circumstances like this. So thank you Damak for your amazing service!!!

Absolutely fuming
Absolutely fuming I have been waiting for my item to arrive for nearly a month now. I have been emailing the company but not much use. They keep blaming Royal Mail. Also they told me to file a complaint with PayPal. Ahem... you guys got my money so why should I take it up with PayPal. A person has emailed me back saying not to email them back again...just because I expressed my concern about my order. It’s like they are not responsible AT ALL. I mean I clearly ordered from their website DAMAK. Also it was my first time I ordered and I will not be ordering anymore. NO WAY. Stay away from that site people.

Hi,
You ordered on the 27th of July (23 days ago) and we posted it the next day. Due to the COVID 19 situation, the burden on Royal Mail is unprecedented (since everyone is working from home) and there have been delays in 10-15% of the cases (though all items until now have been delivered). On the 9th of August we said we would file a case with Royal Mail as the allotted time to do so would pass soon (we have now done so).
NOW: Royal Mail will either get it to you or refund us for the claim amount. A refund cannot be processed immediately as it could still arrive: we have completed our responsibility to ensure you are not left out of pocket.
As you insisted that we refund you immediately we requested you take this up with Paypal as we have explained more than once that we have no update until Royal Mail reply. Asking you to file a claim with Paypal is to give you the peace of mind that you will get your money.
We hope they can find your parcel but failing that they should process our claim in a timely manner so we can refund you. We are responsible so have replied to all your e-mails within an hour and have ALWAYS chased up parcels that are not delivered.
UPDATE 21st September 2020:
Royal Mail have sent us the letter below that they have refunded the item that was lost. Your refund will be processed as the Paypal claim comes to a close:
