As a trader, interface is easy to use to create accounts and publish strategies.
The only thing that I would be missing is a feature to know the profit and losses (displayed on two separate figures) for a given account, this would simplify the reporting to tax autorities

Love Darwinex funding scheme
Have been using Darwinex since late oct 24. Experience have been very good. Withdrawl is fast. Love their funding scheme for successful traders. Just got into the Gold Tier.

Withdrawal issue
Traded with them for more than 6-7 years. I made a withdrawal request a week ago and the fund is not yet in my bank acc'. Used to be 2-3 working days in the past.
Sent multiple email for follow up with no reply.

Proceed With Caution
Since trading with Darwinex, my account has always been in profit. My MT5 account shows that I've made profit of $23,761.44 ($18,768.45 after their high fees). On my Darwinex it says that my profit is 0.65%. I come to learn that they do not pay you from your profit performance on your mt5 or whichever platform you use but only on the allocations they give to you and according to their risk adjusted returns calculation. They further wrote to me and let me know that I would only get a payout of $94.50.
I am happy to share my full account with others so they can see that I am not making this up in any form and can make a proper decision before proceeding.

If you keep your subscription active the DARWIN analysis website will be accesible publicly and everyone will be able to see the DARWIN return and infer the difference you indicate (https://www.darwinexzero.com/darwin/FSWO/performance).
Please, be aware that all the strategies are replicated with a leveled risk. More specifically, leveled to the same maximum target risk which is 6.5% monthly VaR (Value at Risk). If your DARWIN has a much lower return than your DARWIN, is because this leveling has resulted into a replica by the DARWIN with a much lower risk and, therefore, a much lower return.
You can verify yourself that, if you would have traded, for example, with 1 / 10 of the risk you usually do the DARWIN will replicate your trades with a higher risk and, therefore, you will see a higher return with your DARWIN. Although, your monthly VaR is updated daily to include the last part of your trading strategy.
Does this help to understand? If that is the case, I would give a try and add anything you might consider to this review afterwards.

There are a lot better brokers out there.
Be prepared to wait at least 24 to 48 hours for a reply to your email (no phone support) and as I have experienced, contacting them in the morning of a Friday, and getting a reply back on a Tuesday.
Your problems are always worded and replied in a way that it is your inexperience as a trader (I have 15 years), and it was your fault.
I was done when my stop in a trade I was in was hit, and other Brokers I use ( such as Interactive Brokers) where nowhwere near it. I emailed them, and they eventually replied, and said that their tick data was correct. So myself, a big broker and well known security data sites were wrong?
Then I had to delete my credit card to avoid paying their ridiculous 1% transfer fee to withdraw my money. I phoned my bank, and they stressed they (my bank) were not recieving this 1%, but the company I was transferring the money from was.
And their commision rate is not the best. There are much better.

We usually take less than 24 hours to reply to your email and in case the case is specially technical it may take a little long to provide definitive solution or explanation.
I am sorry to hear that your trade was not executed at the price expected, nevertheless, please bear in mind that pending order such as Stop Loss or Take Profit are never a guaranteed price execution order but rather a market order that it is triggered when the price reaches the condition of your pending order.
This applies specially to CFDs which quote in an OTC market, i.e. there is not a common price for the same asset in all trading venues so I am afraid it is not appropiate to compare the prices of CFD order execution in two different CFD brokers.
It can be comparable if your claim is about execution in futures whose quote should be the same since we provide the CME price feed an execution.
Lastly, since we are not a Market Maket, i.e. we do not make profit out of your losses neither we lose when you make profit, we have no other option but to charge you a withdrawal commission which is the minimum we could agree with our payments providers for withdrawals through card.
We take note of your comments and we will try to be more clear in our trading conditions, commissions and overall service quality.
Great Customer Support
They will reach out to you to help out on any problems they see you may be facing. They have a really good spread to trade with as well. Both Darwinex and DarwinexZero have really good customer service. They get back to you quick.

Not recommended!
As long as there are no problems, everything works fine. But if you really need support. Then, oh dear.
I opened an IBKR account via Darwinex and for 2 weeks now one support has been pushing the problem on to the next support. And the customer is trapped in the support loop and has been waiting 2 months for his money.
My conclusion. There are much better brokers. Above all, they take care of their customers when something goes wrong.

You cannot reduce your max drawdown so if you have a bad couple of days and then return the equity on the account or exceed it the max DD remains. As the funding is heavily weighted on max drawdown regardless of how well you do you cannot then get to the max funding

You are correct, drawdown, by definition (maximum accumulated loss in equity from the highest point of equity in your trading history) is something that does not change even with future performance.
If you make a 10% return on 100.000 USD, the equity of your trading account would be 110.000 USD, and if your have a loss of 10.000 USD, you would have a maximum historical drawdown of (10.000 / 110.000) * 100 = 9,09% regardless of your future performance.
Maximum drawdown only weights 11% on the calcualtion to receive capital allocations and we only consider the maximum drawdown in the past 6 months.

Great alternative to scammy props
Awesome platform for expierienced traders and quantitative geeks. Whole idea of funding this way, reaching investors, monthly contests with initial funding and tons of stats/metrics in very good looking UX is simply motivating and awesome to everyday use. Also worth mentioning is great level of darwinex support - my go to man is Luis Víctor, so far never left me with anything unanswered, always helping with all details. Keep up guys this great initiative!

A good broker and FCA regulated. Also the best prop firm I have seen. No daily drawdown, time limit and any unnecessary restrictions. Trade with your strategy and Darwinex will replicate it using their own risk management. Funds are allocated to you based on your performance and there is no limit to your potential to succeed.

the worst prop firm ever, just don't spend a dime you will just waste your money, support almost doesn't exist it feels like you bother them when you ask for something, and they can just ignore you emails (the only way to contact them by the way) and there is absolutely nothing you can do, all they care about is selling subscriptions . total scam
