The trainer made what would normally be a pretty dry subject very interesting and applied all aspects of the methodology to practical examples. This helped us understand the subject better and also helped to remember aspects of the course for he exam. Highly recommended!
The week-long PRINCE2 training course was interesting, clear and well-delivered with good supporting material.
The catering was very basic.
Unfortunately, despite a promise of results within two weeks I had no communications from Datrix for over seven weeks after the course ended. I had to called the agent who sold me the training course several times to chase them up. When the results did finally arrive there was no acknowledgement or apology for the delay. I sent a message requesting an explanation but received no response. Just a line would have done.
When my certificate arrived my name was spelt incorrectly.
It's a shame to fall down on something as simple as basic customer service. A disappointing end to an otherwise good experience left a bad impression of Datrix.

Good course, but...
I sat the PRINCE2 practitioner exam. on 23 Dec 2011 and am still waiting for the results. I think this is rather slow and inefficient, even taking into account the Christmas and New Year break.
The training was provided in a good environment, the tutor, [name removed], knew his stuff, presented it well and engaged well with the students. The Prince 2 Practitioner course is not an easy course! But I passed, thanks to [name removed] and [name removed].
I thought the syllabus was well structured, with everything needed for the exam covered as part of our learning. Mark was very comprehensive and ensured that we were all woking to the same level. Lots of information to take on board but the text book is really easy to follow for revision. Availability of refreshements was limited which is my only grumble, otherwise a very worthwhile experience. Thank you.
It is always a great experience when dealing with Datrix Training. They focus on the little things and the finer details - making eveything else fall into place. Always a pleasure to partner with! Thank-you Datrix!!
The course was intense but good. However, the tutor kept using personal prejudices as learning examples, which I felt were borderline offensive. The homework was of little benefit, because we either weren't equipped to answer the questions, or I was too exhausted to understand the question or retain the right information because the training day was so intense and tiring. Furthermore, despite several requests, my details have still not been updated correctly.
Great training- really valuable and made more fantastic by the trainer himself who was very knowledgable
The Datrix course was well organised and run - [name removed] who gave the Prince2 course made the content understandable and the 5 days were enjoyable.
The course was fine, but there wasn't much participation really - just asking questions, often with closed, yes or no answers. On the other hand, I learned everything needed to pass the exam, and did so pretty easily, so in that sense it did it's job.
I had to pull from day one to attend a job interview. Whilst I had advised this the thursday before(the day I received notification of the interview) the trainer on the monday was unaware and had to ring your offices to be informed that I would not bi in attendance. On my arrival day 2 and before I could join the course the trainer took me outside of the session to advise me that I would not pass the practitioner course. He had no prior knowledge of my experience. Needless to say, whilst not looking favourable in the pre test results, I did actually achieve a pass mark. Your trainers should enquire more before delivering their pre ordained message. They have no comprehension that committed people will do everything they can to catch up.

I would recommend Datirx to anybody, booking a course is easy, the trainers provide the type of presentations which support your learning needs and ensure that you have the tools necessary to complete the course. An enjoyable weeks training.
I really enjoyed the course despite the amount I had to learn within a week. It was important to complete the homework as that helps you progress through the course.
Our Prince2 trainer (Sidney) was excellent, he covered the course topic at just the right speed and mixed in the right amount of humour and real life case studies. I really enjoyed the course and have found the subject very useful in my everyday work.
In December I undertook the conversion to practitioner training, which was 1 and a half days including sitting the exam. When I first arrived there was some confusion as I was not informed about the trainer not covering any material in the session and that only practice exams would be covered. As I'd completed my foundation course a year ago it was not deemed that it was necessary for me to complete the whole week. In hindsight it would have been better to attend the whole week to revisit the material properly and get used to the book but not sit the foundation exam again. Maybe this needs to be communicated better before people book onto the conversion course. In addition I was not supplied with copy of the PRINCE 2 manual prior to the session when I was told I would receive one, and the trainer was under the impression that I would already have one from when I undertook the online training to gain my foundation certificate. However the trainer organised for me to be provided with a book in the morning, and helped to allay my concerns about not having all the tools I needed and feeling ill prepared for the exam. He was very knowledgable and helped to explain anything we didnt understand. It was useful having a practice run of the exam with somebody else to give you feedback as you went along about the basis for the answers. And everything worked out well in the end.
the tutor could have had more empathy witth his audience became aggressive when no real need to and alienated participants at times
Knowledgeable tutor who broke the course up into manageable chunks. Good exam preparation provided.
It was a fast moving course, well presented and the instructor certainly knew his topic.
My only criticism is I am still waiting for the results of the exam and it is 6-weeks now.
Great customer service when trying to get more course info regarding the PRINCE2 course and then subsequently booking was a smooth and easy process.
The course itself was very good (apart from the lunchs :+) ) though very intense and more emphasis perhaps should have been put on this to ensure success. I got my tips on this from friends and planned evenings accordingly however those with families etc who perhaps didnt know anyone who had done the course before may have struggled with time to revise and struggled to pass if they didnt know in advance. However all round a good course and good service. I would book with Datrix again for future training.
The course was useful although pretty intense. The tutor was helpful.
The venue was not ideal, a little small and access was through another office.
