This is the west company ever

This is the west company ever. They just don’t care. Unfortunately their bad service will come back to bite them. I ordered tea on December 14,2024. It never got delivered. They contacted me and I told them to re order my tea. It’s now January 30,2025 still nothing. Customer service they have none. The owner of David’s tea should read all the bad reviews. It’s too bad because they’re tea is so good. I would not recommend Davids tea to anyone. Robyn

Poor Service

I really wish i could give them negative stars. Ordered a Nordic mug on black Friday. Barely made it here for Christmas. And of course it was busted. Customer service after 2 weeks sent me another one that was busted. Two weeks trying to contact them and they refuse to respond. Absolutely abysmal customer service.

If I could give a zero I would.

If I could give a zero, then I would. Love the teas which is why I ordered for Christmas presents. My order was in transit since Nov 2024. Less than half the order was received Dec 24th (wasn’t even in town to receive it). I sent 3 emails to state that more than half the order was missing. They kept deleting my email to say “order received”. Could not get an answer finally went into the store to inquire. They have no phone number or way to escalate back to head office. They stated that lots of people coming in with this same feedback. Will NEVER shop with them again. Poor customer service and fraudulent company to charge you and not give you the product.

Horrible Customer Service

They said an item was delivered in a package I received over the holidays, but it was not. I contacted them three times to correct their error, all three times they cancelled my ticket without even talking to me. So, I ended up paying for something I NEVER RECEIVED!

No Customer Service

I have been a happy customer for many years and even received a November order quite timely. A few days later, I placed another order and it has been showing as "in transit" since November 24th but no tea, no phone number that works, no chat bot that works, no response to email contact forms. I really want the tea but it looks like I will have to dispute the credit card charge and say goodbye.

Buy somewhere else!!

Buy somewhere else! Ordered a Christmas gift on 12/4/24. Part of it was shipped on 12/11/24 and I got an email the next day 12/12/24 what the warehouse was experiencing delays but they were working on the rest of my order. I checked status today via chat and was very surprised that the item was now out of stock and there was no communication. The agent told me that one of the items I ordered sold out after I placed the order and before it was shipped. What kind of inventory management system do they have?? And all I got was an apology and now left with limited options 6 days before Christmas. Poor service.

Unoptimal fulfillement process

Made an order on Nov 29, a few days after, they told me that they've processed only a part saying that the other part was out of stock. I haven't received any invoice, just seen the amount in my bank account. I had sent a message a few days ago, no answers. It's Dec 19, and it's only today that I've received a delivery notification ! And they are answering today too coincidentally...

-10/10

Horrible customer service and business practices, new point system sucks and they have the audacity to take orders and not send them - I will be doing a charge back on my card and not purchasing in future.

Ordered 11/27/24 and still haven't…

Ordered 11/27/24 and still haven't received 12/18/24, and the order hasn't shipped so it will be here after Christmas. Another family member is having the same thing happen.

I have enjoyed this tea in the past, so when a family member requested this for their birthday on Dec 7th I figured this seemed like a fun present and purchased something during the Black Friday sale. I also purchased some stocking stuffers. I figured the gift might not be here for Dec 7th but if it wasn't it could be a Christmas present.

Needless to say, the order still hasn't shipped. Davidstea is only responsive on social media where everyone seems to be having the same thing happen. DavidsTea has repeatedly used the Canada Post strike as an excuse yet #1 I ordered the same day from a smaller company who sent a package in a week through Puralator, they even sent a hand written thank you note. #2 I also ordered from another company 12/14/24 who uses FedEx where they stated I was beyond the last order date for Christmas yet the package will be here on 12/20/24, exceeding expectations again.

The worst part is Davidstea blaming the shipping companies instead of taking accountability. This is NOT the fault of FedEx, Davidstea created FedEx labels to gaslight customers, placing the blame on Canada Post and FedEx instead of on themselves where it belongs. It's gross. I'd bet money that when we do get the package it will be here from Canada Post because sending through Canada Post and only Canada Post was the plan from DavidsTea the entire time.

DavidsTea did send an email today 12/18 offering 20% off regular priced items until 12/25/24 which is a slap in the face. How to nuke your business reputation 101. I'll never again order from them. There are other tea companies.

Massively unresponsive

I purchased December 2nd, they didn't even package it until the 8th and it's been waiting for FedEx since then. I haven't been able to get a response from them through any inquiries. They're the only company I've had issues with during the Canada Post strike. I will not be planning any additional purchases any time soon.

Not sure what's happened to David's tea…

Not sure what's happened to David's tea but after ordering and shopping there for years I took a break for 2-3 years. I ordered online earlier this month some end of year gifts for my tean and my order has been in limbo since. The most maddening bs is that they're literally shipping it from the same city (bordereline same neighborhood( but it's been 2-3 weeks in transit (with FedEx not even CP) and I still didn't receive the order (when it used to arrive within 48hours). I have seen online that this has been a common problem so I will not be ordering from David's tea anymore now just praying I receive my order otherwise might have to contact my bank toi

Literally no customer service

I placed an order on November 4th and it shipped on November 8th. The shipping confirmation email did not contain a tracking number (the link is simply null). I submitted a ticket via their website on November 28th, and never received a response. I tried to start a chat on their website during their business hours, and received no response at all (not even a bot) after 20 minutes. I tweeted them yesterday and they've been active on X since, but I also have not received a response there.

Short of contacting my bank to file a chargeback, I'm not sure what else I can do. I'd love to receive my order, but if it is stuck with Canada Post, I'd at least like to have the tracking number or proof of shipment.

This was my first and last order with Davidstea - not due to the strike, but the abysmal customer service.

Placed an order online

Placed an order online. They can’t ship my order using anything else than Canada Post (which has been on strike for weeks), they refuse to use a different carrier, they refuse to cancel my order and they refuse to reimburse my order. So basically, they’re holding my order hostage. Customer service is as useless as you can expect.

They have been spamming me for years

I have not been a customer of DavidsTea for many years now. I have requested to unsubscribe me for many years. And when asking to unsubscribe didn't work, I have asked my account to be deleted in 2022 and was told that it was done. And now I'm receiving their spam again, and talking to their customer support is useless.
I have asked again and again to never email or mail me, and to remove my information. I keep unsubscribing and trying to delete it, and then I get their spam again.

I have been a loyal customer for about…

I have been a loyal customer for about 3 years now. I have spent a significant amount of money here. Every fall, there seems to be a shortage of a particular ingredient for the magic potion tea. In the fall of 2023, they simply replaced the tea. This time around, they are refusing to. I will no longer be a customer. They shouldn’t be selling the tea if they’re missing an ingredient. This also makes me skeptical about what else may be added or missing to each bag of tea. Further to this, the same weight is listed on all of the bags of tea but when you pour the ingredients of each bag onto a scale, they are different. The tea is expensive as it and as such, ought to be weighed properly.
