Scam!!! The company stole my money. I placed an order for over $240 and never received my order. They refuse to refund the order or deliver it. Scam!!!
My purchase went smoothly until I moved and the preset address was wrong and needed to be changed, but there was no service as I tried to contact credit online and there was no answer after sales service.
Horribly weak tea. Bought their Breakfast Blend as I am looking for a good quality black tea. There was maybe a gram of leaves in the sachet and even after an 8 minute steep time it was very weak.

I ordered the knit tea mug from David’s Tea online. The quality was extremely poor and lid was loose. I contacted customer service by email and told me there was nothing wrong with their product and they would not return the item since it was purchased on clearance.
I used to love David's Tea - a lot! And used to recommend it to everyone. I made a purchase on February 2nd and I ordered enough to get free shipping. My order came in missing one product and I was charged for shipping. I have reached out to their customer service (via bot I might add) and today was my fourth and final attempt (February 24th). I tried using both forms on their website and also tried reaching out on social media. No luck at all! I also wanted to add that I am very disappointed in the flavours of the teas as well. They used to be well-flavoured and very tasty. Now I have to use double the amount for their loose teas (to resemble some sort of flavour) and maybe 2-3 teabags for a well-flavoured cup of tea. I'm sad that this company has gone downhill and I would NOT RECOMMEND ordering from this company. I didn't check the reviews here before and I should have but it was good to have my own experience. So, in conclusion, please don't waste your money here. It's not worth it. I will never be purchasing David's Tea again.
I've been a loyal client and subscriber of DavidTheTea for years. Matcha teas are definitely at the top of my list! I've always had great experiences with their products and services. The only downside is that due to COVID-19, many of their stores have unfortunately closed.
I agree with every other bad review. I thought I'd find out for myself. My son bought me some of their Tea for Christmas and I enjoyed it so I thought I'd order more. The website is a nightmare and they don't honour their promotions. They also ship incorrect items and you can't get anyone to believe you. It's obvious they don't care about Customer Service and their agents aren't trained in Customer Service. I will never order from them again. It's not worth the trouble, and the Tea is not that great! You should honor the price we initially paid for this tea wheel....for the inconvenience of waiting and waiting with zero notification from David's Tea that it was out of stock..,I wonder if you would have kept my monies if I hadn't contacted you....shoddy business practices...you need to revisit your customer service communication practices. This company is extremely dishonest. They purposely charged me for merchandise they knowingly did not send. When I caught their underhanded attempt, they made it difficult to get a refund and sat on my money for a week. Needless to say, this was incredibly inconvenient over the holiday season. Customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with. Terrible company 0/10 would not recommend.
I shopped at David’s Tea in Limeridge Mall today to buy Holiday gifts. I’m giving a 2 star rating because the staff were friendly, other wise I would give it a one star. There were no prices on most of the items being sold. Times are tough for most people and you shouldn’t have to ask what the price is when you get to the cashier. I also witnessed an older woman being told they could not accept her cash as they only accepted visa and debit. I left feeling angry and won’t be back.

I ordered about 40$ worth of tea on November 21st. It's December 11th, still no tea, but it's tracker says its been delivered. No way to file for a refund. I learned my lesson. I won't be ordering online from here again. Wish I had read reviews beforehand. Hindsight is 20/20 I guess. At least I'm only out 40$ instead of the 200$ I was going to spend for gifts. Xmas shopping elsewhere that's for sure!

The worst customer service ever. I understand that companies go through things, but holy crap, this is lower than low. Ordered a cup. A month ago. Where is it? Nobody knows. Tracking delayed. Trying to contact them through all options possible, nobody gives a s***! Nobody even replies! Their chat box is a joke. Nobody will ever actually talk to you. Customer support email???? I’ve been ordering from davids tea for years and lately the shipping is taking longer then it should. I ordered Oct. 31 and still not shipped, contacted customer service twice and same old we apologize, if your such a big company maybe hire people that can do the job. Or start having store pickup, because clearly ordering online is to hard for this company to handle.
I ordered three items, only one arrived. When I contacted customer service they said there was and error and the items I ordered are no longer in stock.

I just placed an order because I had a gift certificate. Their shipping is $12.75. For 1 container of loose tea. TWELVE SEVENTY-FIVE. Insane. This tea better clean my house and do my taxes for that price.
We have been buying their tea for quite a while. My favorite was vanilla cappuccino I opened a package and it was completely almost full of just dried little pieces of apple it is like having warm apple juice. Does not even color the water.
