Placed an order on December 7th. Nearly one month later, it hasn’t even shipped. This is WAY longer than what their website provides as estimated wait times. There is no way to cancel an order, no way to contact customer service where anyone actually gets back to you, no way to get any sort of support. I feel they have essentially stolen money from me at this point.
Placed order Dec 10th with their $12 mug deal they kept advertising to everyone. Placed order and with 10 "delay" spam emails, I got a credit back for the mug but the rest of my order (tea leaves now kind of useless) is being "partially shipped" with no delivery updates
Placed order on December 10th as a gift for a special someone. Never arrived. Customer support says it's on its way but after 10 days it says awaiting carrier pickup. Opened dispute on Paypal and they sent the same tracking number for CANADA instead. Will never order again.
I placed an order on Dec 9th. As of 12/31 have not received it. Since the 22nd it says awaiting pickup from post office. Next week I will be contacting my credit card company to dispute charge. I will never purchase from David’s Tea again.
i’m giving two stars because normally they ship in decent time and usually have the items you ordered. However, it seems to be an ongoing issue where every big sale event they are unable to deliver. Ordered a large order of $200 on Nov 25th (black friday), which most were christmas gifts. They charge you when you place the order, not when it ships. Keep getting the same “sorry your order is delayed” emails every other day (how annoying). I check back on my order frequently to see more and more items out of stock. I can only assume they hold orders until they can be fulfilled, however, they should allow an easier way to cancel and should definitely not charge the consumer until orders are fulfilled and shipped. They should not be accepting more orders unless they state it will take 6+weeks seeing how many people on here haven’t received their orders. I’d avoid them around christmas time for sure, or pick up in store if there is one nearby. Definitely won’t partake in a big sale of theirs again to avoid the frustration.

Order placed on Dec 11th AND charged to my credit card the same day. As of Dec 30th, still not picked up by USPS. Attempts to chat and contact customer service were unsuccessful. Unable to cancel order/get refund. This is my first (and last) transaction with this business so I cannot speak to the quality of their products. The company seems to have time to update their website with fancy new products but they do not seem to honor existing commitments. All fluff and no follow through?
I placed my order on Dec. 14/22 as of today I am still waiting for Mr. Davids Tea delivery ...!! I called many times their 1 888 number no way to get through and to speak to a human voice and, the chat on line "chatbot" is absolutely and totally useless. Davids Tea shows NO customer relations care. Their phone argument dated "Black Friday overflowing orders" does not even stand; not only it is not up to date rather such argument is simply ridiculous. Also, if Davids Tea cannot honour a reasonable delivery time then they should let the customer know.... as there are plenty of other tea companies...
I am still hoping that by Dec. 2023 I will receive my order !!!!
Anyway, VERY POOR SERVICE - NO customer relations and care.
I hope that Davids Tea management will read my review (as well as other customers' reviews). At least we should be compensated, one way or the other, for their lack of accountability.

Editing this review because I did finally receive my order, and the products are really nice. It took almost 4 weeks, and if these weren't partially christmas gifts, it wouldn't have been so bad.
I placed an order on 12/8, expecting it to ship in 2-5 days based on the estimate on the website. They keep advertising and running all sorts of deals, but can't answer customer service calls or chats. My order still hasn't shipped, it contained two Christmas gifts. I did notice a label was created a week ago, but it still hasn't gotten to the post office. I think they may be having financial issues, as there are a ton of other people having problems with their orders. If I don't get my order by the 8th, I am filing a claim with my bank. Seeing them advertise and run all sorts of deals is like a slap in the face when no one is actually receiving their orders.
Order still hasn’t shipped. Ordered Dec 2, it is now the 28th. Shorted me quite a few Christmas presents. They could not be more disrespectful or care less in their communication explaining delays. A day before Christmas,I received an email from them, explaining that they sold too much product on Black Friday and “their cups are overflowing” so their “elves“ were extra busy and couldnt get me my order on time, and didn’t have time to give me a status update. Certainly had the time to take my money. When you call customer service they actually say that they’re getting their “beauty rest” right now and can’t help you. It’s infuriating. I will not purchase from them again I will be buying local. This is one of the most removed from reality purchases I’ve ever been involved with
I’m experiencing the same problem with my order as well. I’m going to give them a chance to do what they need to do for their customers. I know they have fulfilled order successfully in the past. If and when I hear from them, i will proceed as necessary to try and cancel my order.
It’s Dec 30th, no movement on my package just a label created in Champlain, NY by USPS. Called and tried to cancel. I was told my package is on it’s way. I gave one week and told them I want to cancel. Will see. And will follow up on my experience here.

Terrible, every single time. I’ve ordered from them 4 times, I always want it to be a decent (at least) experience but it always falls extremely short of decent. My orders never ship before 2+ weeks of ordering, you cannot cancel, they send you obnoxious emails telling you your order is delayed but you cannot email them only “chat” or call and getting an actual human is almost impossible. Then by the time they do actually ship your order half of it was “out of stock”, but yet I can order it from their website still. I keep hoping they’ll get it together but they won’t. Never again. Go to a small tea seller locally, online, Etsy, anything. Just not David’s, it’s a joke.
I've ordered twice from David's Tea and they usually do a good job but this time they sent my order to the wrong address and I couldn't even cancel or change the address right it after I ordered it before it shipped. And it took me three days to get in contact with someone over this just to be told that I can't change anything once an order is placed.

Doesn’t even deserve 1 star ordered 12/6 for a secret Santa . It’s 12/21 and the order is still being processed . Horrible customer service can’t speak to a human . Will dispute the charge on CC . Save your money and somewhere else .

If you want to order your favourite tea and wait over a week to then find out it’ll take a further 2 weeks min….until it leaves thief Depot, then order here.
David mate!,,, get your act together and deliver the goods that your loyal long term customers are paying you for. You’re only in business because of us so leave out your fake apologies and actually ship the goods with with discounts or merchandise that says you’re actually sorry.

Took my money, but "have a glitch with shipping". Will not offer a refund nor have I received the product, even though they have my money.
I placed an order December 6th hoping i would get this before Xmas. No chance. I tried engaging their chat service and it doesn't work. The chatbot is completely useless. Bad programming. all I received was two emails saying my order is delayed and that they are working hard to fulfill it. Can't they at least send me a partial order? no option for that. Complete fail as far as I'm concerned.
Like many others I ordered the end of November and as of 12/20 I still do not have my order nor has it been shipped. You cannot get through to any customer service to find out why or cancel your order. I am considering disputing the charge on my credit card as they charge you when you order not when the order has shipped. Long time customer who will never order from them again. I know things are tough this time of year but 21 days waiting for my order to be shipped is to much.
