Both me and my partner are first time buyers who just completed on our first house. The quote from Davisons was realistic and our completion statement was close to the quote. We had a few scares which Davisons advised on and helped us gain clarity and security. Often prompt to respond and helpful throughout the whole process. Big thanks to Charlotte, Gemma, Sian, Chloe and Rhianne at the Sutton office.

THE WORST SOLICITORS I HAVE CAME ACROSS! BE AWARE OF THIS PEOPLE HOW CAN THEY OLD A LICENSE!
Long story short I had to sleep on the floor on an empty house with 5 pets and find another 1k to the removal company because this people didn’t do their jobs on a house sale. Came to the day of completion and they add no contract or release of moneys done. The result of being incompetent add a several consequences. Think twice before getting any services from them.
Moving house is stressful enough and with solicitors like this is a true nightmare. APPALLING! I have tried to claim the excess costs for storage overnight and a new booking with removal company and they had refused the claim or any accountability for the mistakes and incompetence. WHAT A JOKE OF COMPANY!!!

When I raised an issue of concern with the solicitor, she showed no empathy in her response. This broke my trust in her representing my company. The case was taken over by her senior colleague. When I instructed him to complete in the purchase of a property, he asked me to call him the next day to chat through the instruction. When I telephoned, as requested, he did not answer my call. When I chased him with emails, he did not reply. He did not contact me for three months. When I raised a complaint with the firm, they admitted “I can see that [he] does not respond to the communications from yourself. I apologise for this aspect of the matter, and I cannot excuse the fact the [he] did not follow up on aspects.”

I was offered a free 15min conversation to discuss a case. I was given clear, concise, actionable advice from a friendly, knowledgeable solicitor. Perfect, could not ask for more. Highly recommended!
