Not as scary as reviews say.

I ordered before reading reviews and was terrified after I read them. But I got my futon within a week and mattress by two weeks and I love them. I emailed that the boxes were completely damaged from FEDEX but the product was great after making sure pieces were all there. Which I was given an email response back after like 5 days... I do recommend honestly it's not that bad.

Don't waste your money with DCG stores. The are a RIP OFF business.

This company is a scam. I can't even sit on the futon I purchased from them due to excruciating back pain this sofa causes me. The mattress is a lopsided piece of crap. It's almost like the cover is glued to the mattress. You certainly can never change the cover on this futon. They blame the COVID virus for not answering their phone. You can't catch this virus over the telephone. Many thousands of companies had and still have people working out of their homes to take care of their customers. Not DCG stores. They are a scam company. I hope this review will save people from wasting their hard earned money with DCG stores.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH DCG STORES!

I sure wish I had read the reviews before ordering my desk from DCG. I ordered a desk with keyboard tray from the company in January. They said it wouldn't be available until March and I was OK with waiting. When it was finally delivered, however, it was the wrong desk as it had a drawer in the place of the keyboard tray I need, although their own confirmation email said "3-Drawer Computer Desk - Keyboard Tray." I have reached out three times so far and all I get is silence. All I want is for them to send me a tray to replace the drawer so I can use the desk. Meanwhile it is sitting in my entryway taking up a lot of space and of no use to me. How can a company get away with doing this on such a large scale? I tend to agree with the other reviews that it has to be deliberate.

DCG Stores is a Scam

Avoid at all costs. DCG Stores is a Scam
Order placed in Nov. 2020.
Delivery dates pass.
No phone # for customer service, email only. From 4 emails sent, 1 has been responded to in March 2021. That email stated the item was on backorder and would be sent March 12. Now March 27th and no item has been sent and no follow up responded to or initiated by the company.
These scammers need to be closed down.

I'd echo many of the comments here

I'd echo many of the comments here. I ordered a futon mattress with my CC, and weeks later FedEx has no expected delivery date, and numerous emails have gone unanswered. The website stated the item was IN STOCK and normally ships in 2-3 business days. Well, I guess NOT!

I ordered a Futon Mattress

I ordered a Futon Mattress - Never got a confirmation email nor was my account charged. Then I get an alert from Fedex that I have a delivery coming - Yep my futon mattress and my bank was charged. Everything looked great - then I get another alert from Fedex - Yep A second futon mattress - and my bank was charged again. Of course as noted below you cannot call due to COVID - sent numerous emails. They say they will send an RA number but it has been a week and nothing ! I am very frustrated. I want my money back - the second mattress is taking up space in my entry way - very heavy and I am a 65 Yr Old female. I can only push it around. I am happy with the first one, but definitely don't need 2. I guess I will see if I can sell it at a small loss since it is new and still in the original box. DO NOT ORDER FROM These people

DCG has proven to be a fraud

I ordered a simple mattress with my credit card and they never delivered it and will not return my numerous emails. The company flat out stole my money. Like other posts have indicated - there is no phone support services due to COVID. This is hard to believe a multi million business don’t have people working from home for customer support. I am beginning to think this company is a fraud and someone is working our of their basement only selling items they can easily find and resale. That’s why they have so many complaints. Do not buy from this company!!!!

Do not buy from them.

I ordered an Office Table from DCG, but somehow I bumped to this webpage and read through the reviews and decided I do not want to deal with DCG. I found the same product at Home Depot for $10 more and tried to cancel my order almost right away. Well not much luck.
There is no set up for canceling order. So you need to call them in order to cancel it. When I called they have a voice answering informing people that their phone services are shut down due to COVID. Then I sent them an e-mail with a request to cancel my order. I did not receive any correspondence back from DCG.
After I got my product from Home Depot suddenly 3 days later I got FedEx notification and they brought me the same product that I canceled from DCG. So I have 1 extra table that I do not need and I am dealing with my Credit Card company disputing this order.

Please don't purchase from this company

As so many others have stated, I wish I had read the reviews before I made a purchase. I ordered a bedroom dresser and was contacted by the local delivery service stating that it was my responsibility to remove the 250 lb skid from the back of the truck. Their free shipping is not free and their white glove service is apparently actually taking your item off the truck when it arrives. They in no way make this clear during checkout. It is also never mentioned when you get your confirmation email, nor your tracking information. You literally find out when the shipping company contacts you to deliver. I have ordered many oversized items before and never once has it been my responsibility to remove an item from a truck. For every other legitimate retailer I have ever purchased from, delivery means they actually deliver it. White glove service means they carry it into your house and sometimes even unpackage and assemble it. This company operates very differently, which would have been fine, if I had been made aware of this at the time of purchase. They also do not respond to emails nor answer their phone, as many others have already stated. Apparently their way of dealing with an unhappy customer is just to ignore them completely. The shipping company has also been trying to contact them and is not getting a response either. Anyway, hopefully I can save someone who is smart enough to read the reviews before making a purchase some trouble. I would seriously recommend taking your business elsewhere. I will never purchase from DCG again and I may even file a formal complaint with the BBB.

Take your business elsewhere

Take your business elsewhere. Their return policy sucks! If you return an item, they will charge you for the shipping cost even if shipping to your address is free!! Then they will also deduct the return shipping cost from your refund and some silly re-stocking fee.

I want to return the item because it was much cheaper to purchase it in Walmart for the same exact merchandise.

Most importantly, they said that shipping and TAX were all included in the price. No siree! They charged me the tax which really made the item much more than what I should have paid in another store. When I emailed them, the pathetic customer service rep. told me that I had to pay the tax since I live in Califonia. Then, why did they not mention that in the first place? Don't buy anything from this store. They will rip you off. They are scammers! I should have read the reviews beforehand prior to this first and definitely the last purchase. I partly blame myself for not doing a research on their company first.

Terrible Customer Service

I ordered a futon cover, based on measurements indicated on the DCG order website. I received a cover that measured much smaller. In order to get a refund on the item, DCG Stores now wants me to pay for the outgoing (free) shipping, return shipping, and restocking fees for a mistake that they made. They misrepresented the size of the item on their order page or sent the wrong item. This is not my fault, but theirs. I have sent over 15 emails with images showing the discrepancy over the past 6 months trying to resolve this situation. They no longer respond to phone calls, emails, or registered letters.
The customer should not have to pay for a mistake that the seller made.

DCG stores are a rip off! con-artist, liars, scam business- no customer service phone!!

I bought a 10" mattress and an expensive cover to fit and they shipped me an 8" mattress and 8" cover and told me it would fit the mattress - because they sent me the shorter mattress even though I paid for the bigger one. They tried to tell me they shipped the right sizes yest the measurements prove that to be wrong...plus the label says 8"! on top of that, they refused to make this right- even though i paid the surcharge for the bigger sizes! Now they are refusing to cancel the frame even though it isn't even in stock yet. I want to cancel because they are trying to rip me off and I don't trust them...they are scammers!

I wish I had taken the time to read the reviews before ordering a sofa table. My order was never sent. I had to contact the Better Business Bureau of which DCG has yet to contact them concerning my purchase. The reviews are very much true...do not under any circumstance purchase from this company

Very shady - take your business elsewhere.

Beyond bad. The product arrived damaged and it took weeks for them to write me back. They did not make the situation right - they asked me to keep the damaged product. No accountability. They do not answer their phone and barely respond to emails.

I agree 100% with other reviewers that something is just not quite right with this company. I would never ever trust them with my personal information again. This company is shady. Take your business elsewhere: legitimate companies stand behind their products.

The WORST customer service ever!

Unbelievable. How do you not answer your phone due to Covid? This makes no sense. We have a family small business that has been hit much harder during COVID and we have diligently answered our phone and emails. This is an excuse. They sent the wrong type of table and I have emailed several times to figure out what to do and NOTHING. I am going to be disputing the charges and donating the table. I have never had such an awful experience with a company.

Something not right with the company!

I ordered a futon from this company about 2-3 weeks ago. I contacted them two weeks later wanting to know when I could expect to receive my product. They told me my order needed to be authenticated. When I asked what that was supposed to mean they said they would charge a small amount to my card and I needed to approve it which I have NEVER heard of. I tried calling and there is no customer service supposedly due to COVID. I could not get my questions answered. Something is not right with this company. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. I ended up cancelling mine.

'Criminal' claim that they can't answer…

'Criminal' claim that they can't answer the phone due to covid... Hey DCG, all the legitimate companies figured out a way! Email is the same, a generic reply promising to answer your email but that never happens. I returned the product at a crazy shipping cost and have to work with my credit card company to get my money back.
