Keran was excellent at handling my late fathers property,everything went smoothly,would highly recommend.

With the fact that we were a long distance apart, Nasreen Akhtar handling of the sale of the flat was extremely good. I was kept fully informed of progress and the steps were clearly explained so I knew what was going on. I could not have asked for better.

Completed a sale after over 3 months.

Very slow in responding and i literally recieved 3 phonecall in 3 months, all 3 calls in the last 10 days before completion.

Left at least 6 voicemail, they dont care, I was lucky to get 1 call back.

They added a £200 expedition fee, i spoke to them on a call " I dont want to expedite the sale, so delay completion by 24 hours if you have to", so I dont have to pay.

I was selling, not in a rush, no mortgage, why would dclaw not notify me that I was liable for £200? Incompetence, as they dont care, they just added it to my bill without telling me. Even after I said "delay completion by 24 hours if you have to".

Called to complain, no response.
Emailed, was told the 3 day rule applied. No acknowledgement that they should have done as i instructed.

I might speak to the ombudsman as they are hoping i just go away.

If you are looking for care and attention on a life changing case. Dont bother

We are writing this out of sheer desperation. We are due to complete our property sale ahead of a complex international relocation next week, and DC Law has gone completely radio silent.

Our conveyancer and the main switchboard have completely refused to answer our phone calls for months. We have called our case handler directly and the main office multiple times, left numerous voicemails, and have received zero replies. They have entirely failed to keep us up to date with our case, even now during this critical time right before completion.

Furthermore, they were incredibly slow in updating documents and contacting Property Management Company for a pack, despite us raising this as a priority first thing.

We lodged an urgent Formal Complaint last night to the dedicated management inbox regarding outstanding contract terms, and this has also been ignored with no update or reply. We currently have no idea what is happening with our sale or who we can possibly contact next to get an answer.

We need a senior manager from DC Law to contact us immediately with a status update. And then later ensure all the problems we have had are investigated and the company improves.

Great experience with this company, particularly with the conveyancer Nasreen Akhtar. She is brilliant.
From first contact with Nasreen she explained what would be involved in the process and helped us to understand each stage, answering any questions with clarity and patience.

What should really have been a relatively straightforward transaction got quite tricky at times. There were several points where I really needed advice and my solicitor Jake was brilliant, and definitely protected my interests. Aside from that communication was spot on, I very rarely had to chase for updates and when I needed to talk, the phone was always answered. The online dashboard was a big help as well. Jake was my conveyer for the sale of my property. All of the the paperwork and forms were done via the online portal which made things easier and smoother and could keep track of progress.
Overall an easy, smooth transaction.

I made a full complaint, was promised better services and yet nothing changed.

After more than a year, after all the "we've learned the lesson", it's still freaking impossible to get an update from solicitors. It's even worse, they keep ignoring the client. It's so frustrating.

DC Law did not handle the situation with the level of care, professionalism, or judgment I would expect when a seller is relying on legal advice and dealing with exchange/completion deadlines.

Selling a property is stressful enough without feeling that the conveyancer is adding pressure rather than helping manage it. Based on my experience, I would not use this firm again.

Nasreen was excellent in her approach to my requirements and was very easy to get in touch with and also to speak with. She explained anything I was concerned about. Would thoroughly recommend

The company was very helpful when you contacted them, however nearly all communication was via email. I didn't feel that there was much information provided from them unless I asked. For the fees charged, I think they could update the client more frequently. I never even received a phone call upon completion, I just received an email. It's been 30 years since I last dealt with a house move and must admit I don't like the new way of doing things.
