The automated online service was good and a good way to keep track of the sale, however I felt that the lack of human communication or the time taken for a human response to answer a query was too long. Overall though the service worked well and everything went through smoothly

Huge Thank you to Nasreen Akhtar for going above and beyond in the exchange and completion of sale of my dads property in super quick time, so we didnt loose our buyers. All the time keeping us informed and explaining in a way I could understand, during an exceptionally stressful and emotional time for me. Even when she was very poorly her self and should have been off sick, she was still on the case. I can highly recommend her. And would give her more than 5 stars if it was possible.

A big thanks to Nasir Aslam for his help with the conveyancing process during my recent house purchase. Nasir was very professional, answered any queries I had promptly, and did a great job in getting my purchase across the line in ~11 weeks from offer to completion. Would definitely recommend him for any future conveyancing needs.

Firstly as nice as as the conveyancer was he was out of his depth with this transaction and was only saved by Howard.
DC Law have no discernible commitment to customer satisfaction. Why do I think this.
1, Its not ingrained into culture. The conveyancer consistently did not return calls, or answer emails and did not respond to buyer enquiries on a timely basis.
2. There is no management process which checks that the sale is proceeding on a timely, professional (or in fact if he is up to the job) basis.
3. A request to speak with a manager is declined as company policy.
4. My 1st request to raise a complaint was declined pending a call from a manager.
5. When I did not get a manager call I insisted upon a complaint and got a cliche ridden response after an "investigation" along the lines of " what are you complaining about you've had the best service its possible to get. If it will shut you up we offer this insultingly small offer of compensation.
6. When declining this offer I gave examples of where the "investigation" had failed to find delays that had occurred, I then got the response " perhaps we could have done a little better but you still have had a great service and so we offer increased compensation from insulting to laughable.
So 10 months from opening the file to completion, no chain either side, can you believe it, I've bought and sold a few houses in my time but this is the worst experience by far.
I hope people find this helpful. According to Trust Pilot the negative feedback is pretty similar to mine, you have a 1 in 10 chance of having appallingly bad service.
On a positive note I compared Trust Pilot feedback with local solicitors and amazingly DC Law got the best scores.

Fiona at DC Law has been wonderful and the process has been clear and concise - would 100% recommend 👍🏽 I found the eWay app an excellent way to have everything recorded and to check in to see where you were at throughout the process. Thank you x

As a probate administrator, this company was recommended by the probate solicitors to handle the conveyance. They sent me a form to complete, together with a named contact. Ì heard nothing from them for several weeks but was then informed by the probate solicitors that DC Law was no longer managing probate sales. I have written to them 3 times over the past 5 weeks to ask them to confirm they no longer manage probates and have received zero response. The company clearly has no concern whatsoever for customer service.

I would like to thank Keran for a fantastic service with the sale of my mums house.All emails and telephone messages were responded to quickly.
Far more responsive tham than my previous solicitor.

Must comment on the service we received from Megan Noxha. Once Megan was on our case it went very smoothly. She always notified us of everything that was happening with the sale of the bungalow. She was always helpful, pleasant and efficient.
We would recommend Megan.

We cannot thank Rebecca Chidgey at DCL Law enough for all her hard work and perseverance. We faced so many hurdles while dealing with a third party, and Rebecca was fantastic throughout. She also worked extremely well with Sam at Gascoigne Halman in Lymm. Between them, they kept us regularly updated on progress, which was really helpful and reassuring.

They have been sending auto generated emails regularly about a flat that was for sale last May and is non existent now. If they can’t organise to cancel an email what else can’t they do

Today we completed on our house sale. It has been the smoothest and most efficient service and this has been down to Rebecca. What a delight she is to correspond with from start to finish. Absolutely first class in everyway and i cannot recommend DCLaw, especially Rebecca, highly enough.

Kate has been fantastic the whole way through my sale and purchase, keeping me informed all the way. She has been available on the phone everytine I have needed to ask questions, and made sure I exchanged on time to be able to keep to my completion date. The eway system is really easy to use whoch is great too. Highly recommend!
