Contacted them as I was having problems completing an order on line. Although they could not sort this for me Kai gave me some suggestions to try, one of these was to download the app which I did. Once in the app my order went through without any issues

I have never experienced such a nightmare company to deal with over a return. I will never ever buy from this company Debenhams again . Really lowered its standards there’s literally no customer care. There’s NO PHYSICAL SHOP. NO ACTUAL COMPANY PHONE LINE OR MOBILE. FB messenger IS a CHAT BOX & unable to resolve anything. Debenhams email support link does not work, no staff answer the email. Even the complaints department is non existent.
Make sure your purchase is not from a partner seller/marketplace , mine was from Hirix International who did not respond once. Repetitive automated emails. Almost 4 weeks I have tried to return an item & wasted so much time as Debenhams support staff apparently in India. Had to threaten legal action before anything done.

Poor quality, awful returns process
Ordered three dresses to try on for a formal event. Sizes are out, products are extremely cheap quality - one dress so see through even skin coloured pants were blatantly obvious.
Then had to do THREE separate returns, two of which cost - which I was NOT aware would be necessary on purchasing. Every return is with a different carrier, so logistically a huge faff.
Will NEVER be shopping with them again. Absolutely nothing to do with the store that used to be.
Can never talk to a human
Can never talk to a human, just emails from bots. After 2 week it was obvious my product wasn't in stock. Finally got an email telling me that but struggling to get a refund. Can't talk to anyone.

I had a very disappointing and stressful experience with Debenhams. I am genuinely shocked by how drastically the company and its customer service have deteriorated over the years. Debenhams was once a retailer I trusted and enjoyed shopping with, but this experience has completely changed my perception.
My parcel was delivered by the courier to the wrong address and never reached me. The delivery photo clearly showed a completely different mailroom from the one belonging to my building, and I provided Debenhams with multiple pieces of evidence, including GPS location screenshots proving that the parcel had been delivered to a different block.
To make matters even clearer, another parcel from Debenhams was delivered correctly to my actual mailroom the following day, confirming that the missing parcel had been misdelivered. In addition, another parcel from SHEIN, delivered by the same Evri driver at the same time, was also confirmed as missing and refunded after Evri completed its investigation.
Despite providing all of this evidence, I found myself repeatedly explaining the situation to different customer service representatives. Instead of resolving the issue promptly, I was met with repeated investigations and requests for the same information, causing unnecessary delays and significant stress.
As a customer, I expected Debenhams to take responsibility once it became clear that the parcel had been delivered to the wrong address through no fault of my own. Instead, I was left feeling frustrated, exhausted, and unsupported.
I sincerely hope Debenhams reviews its customer service processes and returns to the standard of service it was once known for.

Just dreadful
Just a dreadful company now it's gone online only. Customer service is almost non existent. Delays in their dealing with matters at their end - not the customer - causes timeframes to go over so their suppliers then reject returns as too late. Had to get my bank involved for a refund despite being well within the return period when I started my return. Will NEVER shop with them again and despite my purchase & return being made almost a year ago, now they email once a month wanting a review so here it is.

I returned an item and it took more than two months to receive my refund, in fact, I am not sure I ever received it. I would not shop with you again.
