My order was not delivered & I didn't get any notifications as to what was going on. I sent several emails & the response was poor. I was reassured that it would be redelivered. It never was. Then I was informed that the time period for refunds had passed & Debenhams will not be refunding. It was the poor and lengthy time it took for Debenhams to reply that contributed to the time elapsing. I don't have my purchased item or a refund. I will never shop with Debenhams again. This was the 2nd time I had issues with delivery. I now tell people not to shop with Debenhams. Everyone I have spoken to have had similar experiences. Shocking, poor, lacking common sense and customer care.

Bad customer service
I had shoes delivered in right size box with wrong size shoes inside so no fault of my own when I asked for refund they refunded the shoes but not postage the customer service is non existent and I will never order anything from this site again

Don’t really deserve 1 star to be honest! The return and refund process it’s a joke returned an item on 12th June they received the item on 15th June 17 days on still no sign of my refund! I will definitely be avoiding this company in the future! The original order wasn’t even placed with Debenhams they have far too many 3rd party sites and that’s where things get confusing and mixed up! Hopefully it will get my refund soon but I’m not holding my breath! Certainly wouldn’t recommend them!

1 Star – Extremely Disappointing Customer Service
I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I placed my order almost a week ago, and it was due to be delivered on 29th June. Several days after the expected delivery date, I am still without my order and have received no clear explanation as to where it is.
I have contacted Debenhams Live Chat, DX Delivery, and the third-party seller, Wilton Bradley Ltd. Each company has passed responsibility to another, with each providing conflicting information. Debenhams and the seller insist the item has been dispatched, while DX Delivery has confirmed they have never received the goods.
To make matters worse, I received an email stating that my order had been delivered when it most certainly has not. The item has never arrived at my address, and despite repeatedly contacting customer services and providing all the requested information, I have still received no meaningful response or resolution.
I have now spent hours chasing this order myself, doing the work that customer service should have been doing. As a customer, I expect companies to communicate with each other and resolve issues rather than leaving me to act as the middleman.
At this stage, I have requested that a replacement be sent immediately, as I have completely lost confidence that the original order will ever arrive. The lack of communication, accountability, and urgency shown throughout this process has been unacceptable.
I hope this review prompts someone to finally take ownership of my case and resolve it. Based on my experience so far, I would not recommend ordering from Debenhams.

Im only giving this rating for Kai who helped me via whatsapp giving me clear advice how to return a parcel. when I finally managed to get a link to whatsapp I received the help I needed quickly and I think Kai should be credited for the response given.... BUT Wallis/DBZ need to seriously consider having a contact no. for customers like me to be able to ring and speak with a human being !!

I worked out delivery and returns costs plus administrative fee in refunding cost almost £11 when I didn’t end up keeping the product.This was a waste of money. Only recommend shopping if you know 100% you’ll keep the item.

Noticed the payment taken from my card is more than the total quoted online. I then checked and had been charge £2.99 for 'delivery protection' which I was unaware of. Apparently, according to the customer service team this is automatically added and you have to opt out and complete refusal to refund what I had not agreeed to. Complete con! Also be aware that they bombard you with spam emails despite never opting in. Shady company to be avoided.

2 months for a refund
2 months to receive a refund for a faulty item and they deducted postage from my refund despite telling me that I couldn't bring it in to the store. If anything I’d be expecting compensation for the associated stress and time wasted with back and forth over 2 months with miscommunication and failed collections. I used to love Debenhams but quality and customer feedback has plummeted.
